At least the system wasn't planning on ripping me off but the failure was indeed risky.

The rewards were tempting and I'm in an advantageous position so I chose the right choice to accept this task before.

As Pedonar said that, he continued to create multiple ginormous gray-colored balls of fire while directing it towards me yet he still didn't launch it.

I swear I'm going to beat him up after I enslave him for calling me a masochist.

I cast multiple [Ruthless Sun] and it even almost outnumbered Pedonar's grey-colored balls of fire but even I couldn't outnumber it since his power was multiplied ten times after he cast [Limit Break].

"I see... You could also cast [Magnific Ball Of Fire]? Did you also received the title known as [Fireball Maniac]?"

Pedonar spoke after he examined the [Ruthless Sun] that I had cast.

"How did you know? Wait, why would I be surprised? After all, I could cast [Ruthless Sun] so I guess that you also like to cast fireballs as much as I do?"

"Ah, yes. We demons mostly used fire-based skills since it is much more destructive compared to other elements and much easier to comprehend. The name of that skill you are using is known as [Magnific Ball Of Fire] but it seems that you made a name for it even though it sounds arrogant to even call it a 'Sun'."

"It's my skill so I can name it however I want."

As I said that, I merged the ginormous balls of fire that I had cast into a much bigger ball of fire.

The ball of fire turned into a purple-colored fire and was much more condensed and hot compared to the previous ball of fire that I had cast.

"So you also could cast [Grand Ball Of Fire]!"

Pedonar exclaimed while he merged his gray-colored ball of fire into the same size as the ball of fire that I had merged.

The grey-colored ball of fire that Pedonar had cast had turned into a much darker shade of color than gray but it still didn't become dark enough to call it black.

"Can you cast the stronger version of [Sun's Wrath] or you called as [Grand Ball Of Fire]?"

"Unfortunately, I could not. The mana needed to cast it was several times more than [Grand Ball Of Fire] and even by casting [Limit Break] I could not fulfill the mana requirement."

Pedonar spoke as he cast more [Majestic Ball Of Fire] while making sure to not lose control of the [Grand Ball Of Fire] that he had cast.

So theoretically I could cast a much stronger version of [Sun's Wrath] if I activated [Limit Break] and [Mana Stack] but even I am not sure if I could control it.

I activated [Mana Stack] and cast several [Ruthless Sun] while trying not to lose control of the [Sun's Wrath] that I had cast.

{What are you? Kids? Stop playing with fireworks and launch it already. I'm bored of seeing both of you show off your spells and I want to see which of your spells are stronger.}

That damn dragon king. Just because he was my contracted pet doesn't mean he could degrade me as a kid.

Of course, I didn't add that to the contract! But I did add that you will help me if I forced you to do it.

{That's cheating! Have you got no shame to even force me to sign that contract with ridiculous demands?! I wouldn't even sign that if you weren't able to suppress me while I'm at my weakest.}

Only by being shameless and deceiving could allow yourself to adapt to a world filled with lies and deception.

The dragon king telepathically spoke and after he said that, the temperature of my flames rises higher than before that it even burned the nearby trees.

I was able to cast a much stronger fire skill than [Sun's Wrath] thanks to the dragon's breath that the dragon king had lent me.

It was much harder to control that even the slightest mistake would let me lose control of it and it might explode if lost control of it.

I cast [Mana Stack] to increase my mana by ten folds.

I was able to control the stronger version of [Sun's Wrath] after activating [Mana Stack].

Pedonar's PoV:

I was focused on casting multiple [Majestic Ball Of Fire] that I didn't notice the spells that Axel had cast.

A ball of fire that was several temperatures higher than my [Grand Ball Of Fire] was conjured by Axel.

Did he manage to cast [Legendary Ball Of Fire]? That's impossible! Well, it wasn't since he already cast it but it has strict requirements for it to be cast.

It needs the caster to had a large mana pool and two sources of fire not to mention high mental concentration.

Arghhh! I'm starting to lose control of the balls of fire that I had cast.

I dispelled some of them to lighten the burden which allowed me to had more control of the other balls of fire.

I directed the balls of fire towards Axel and launched them towards him.

The balls of fire that I had launched dissipates after it came into contact with Axel's [Legendary Ball Of Fire]

Even though I knew it was going to dissipate after it reached Axel's balls of fire but it was only for distraction.

I used [Short Distance Teleportation] which made me teleport behind Axel.

I infused my fist with all of the mana I had and punched it towards Axel's back.

I hoped that my attack will be enough to injure Axel or I will be the one who will lose this battle since I used up all of my mana and the duration of [Limit Break] had expired.

Axel's PoV:

As I defended the attack of Pedonar using [Magnificence Of The Sun], Pedonar disappeared in an instant.

I was too focused on controlling [Magnificence Of The Sun] that my senses hadn't picked up where Pedonar had gone to.

I suddenly felt an incredible amount of mana surged behind my back and it landed on my back which cracked one of my ribs.

Fortunately, Pedonar's attack didn't land on my spine or I would have passed out.

I forgot that my [Mana Shield] was dispelled so that my mana and concentration would be focused on controlling [Magnificence Of The Sun] which allowed Pedonar to land an attack on me.

It was thanks to my high defense stat that reduced the damage of Pedonar's attack on my back.

Good thing he only cracked my rib or I would have to to to torture him after I enslaved him.

I directed my gaze towards Pedonar and dispelled [Magnificence Of The Sun].

"Do you want to hasten your death? Ah, yes... Maybe I should spare you... As my slave of course!"

I spoke and an evil smile was present on my face.
