The Goblin's Leveling System!

Chapter 48: Mathew's Training Paid Off! I Got The Time Save Skill!

I woke up and I summoned the system interface. I saw a timer on the system interface.

*Time left before the system reaches level 4: 05 days, 23 hours, 47 minutes, and 19 seconds.*

I glanced towards my side and saw Mathew on the ground, still sleeping.

I rummaged the skill scrolls and skill books. I found several skill scrolls and skill books that were legendary and mythical rank.

I even found 3 Deity rank skills and 1 God rank skill.

To think that Mathew could now use [Universal Steal] on another level means that his training paid off.

I examined and identified that the God rank skill scroll was the God rank skill that I was looking for. It was the God rank [Time Save] skill.

I no longer wasted my time as I hurriedly comprehend the skill scroll.

I was currently meditating since it helped me when I need to comprehend difficult things without getting distracted.

********

An hour had passed. I opened my eyes since I was finished comprehending the [Time Save] skill.

The usual 'ding' sound that I always heard from the system whenever I acquired a new skill was no longer heard.

The system did say that the system will no longer be able to assist me but I will still be able to access the features of the system.

I could also use the system shop whenever I needed to buy skills using system coins but I wouldn't be able to find the skills that I needed in a short amount of time since the system would not be able to assist me anymore.

Whenever I had questions, the system would answer them and would tell me if the system level was too low for me to access high-tier information.

I found out after meditating and comprehending the [Time Save] skill that it was a passive skill that could be toggled on and off.

As the skill name implied, it could save time whenever I activated it. It would take me 1 billion mana per second that I wanted to save.

In other words, it was a skill that would make me cough out blood just from its absurd requirements. A God rank skill was something that shouldn't be taken lightly.

I searched the other skill books and skill scrolls that were laid on the floor. I found a skill book that was about plants and it would improve Aerin's understanding of plants and nature.

I also found a skill scroll that was a Deity rank skill known as [Death Touch].

It was best suited for Pedonar since he was currently studying death magic.

As the skill name implied, as long as both mana and death essence was applied on any part of the body, then the skill would be activated.

If the caster touched the enemy using the part of the body that was applied with [Death Touch], then the enemy would die.

The skill could be countered as long as the opponent had a higher amount of life force or life essence than the amount of death force or death essence that the caster had.

It was a powerful skill but it required a significant amount of death essence. It doesn't require any mana since death essence was used instead of mana.

I picked up another skill scroll that was Deity rank and it was known as [Ceres].

It was a magic skill that required a large amount of mana and an affinity with earth magic which best suited for Zale since he specializes in earth magic.

I found another skill scroll that was Deity rank and it was known as [Perfect Clone].

It was best suited for Sophie as the skill could create clones that are made out of shadow but the most terrifying part of it that the clones acted like the original.

The clones also didn't disappear unless it was killed or the original body died. It could also use the same skills as the original body had.

I stored the skill scrolls and skill book that I would later give to my other teammates.

Mathew would not mind since he's the type that would want to help each other.

Moreover, the skill books and skill scrolls that I stored in my inventory were skills that Mathew didn't specialize in

Of course, Mathew wouldn't mind but it wouldn't also hurt to ask for permission so I waited in Mathew's room.

I waited for Mathew to wake up so that I could ask for his permission to take these skill scrolls and skill books.

It would be rude to take someone's stolen things without permission.

I walked towards Mathew who was currently lying on the floor. I lifted his body using wind magic and placed him on his bed.

I waited for him to wake up while I was searching for skill scrolls and skill books on the floor that was useful for both myself and my teammates.

********

Four hours had passed. Mathew was still not awake.

I found useful skills scrolls and skill books for Mathew such as [Lucky Coin], [Steal], [Increase Luck], and other skills.

I planned on giving the skill scrolls and skill books to my other teammates but Mathew was still not awake.

Well, he wouldn't die anyway even if I left him so...

I hurriedly went out of the room, leaving Mathew behind.

I went to Sophie and Zale to give them the skill scrolls and skill books that best suited their affinities and class.

Since Sophie and Zale's room where beside Mathew's room, It didn't take me a minute to give them their skills.

I also didn't chat with them and just handed them the skill scrolls and skill books.

It was up to their understanding on whether they can master the skills or not.

After I was finished giving the skill scrolls and skill books to Sophie and Zale, I went to Mathew's room to check if he was awake but he was still sleeping so I closed the door and left the second floor of the holy church via the second-floor window.

The falling damage didn't harm me because it was absorbed by my insane amount of defense stat.

I went to the small house that was beside the holy church to check up on what Aerin was doing.

Aerin was currently taking a nap beside the pile of books. I felt nostalgic when I saw what Aerin did since she was like me when I was studying for my quarterly exams.

Even a genius such as me needed to study and if not I wouldn't be able to know something.

Some of my classmates and teachers even praised me for being a computer with 500 gigabytes worth of memory storage.

I even memorize the countries in the whole world including their cities and landmarks. I also memorized the whole periodic table including the atomic mass and other stuff.

I went to find where Pedonar was since he wasn't inside the small house.

I went to the treehouse and I saw him sleeping on the floor. I had not bought any pieces of furniture yet so that's the reason why he was currently sleeping on the floor.

I went out of the treehouse and cast [Gate]. A bright white door made out of magic appeared in front of me after I cast [Gate].

I went inside the bright white door and I was instantly teleported to Eldion, the beastman kingdom.

I smelled a pungent odor of the demons just like the time when I first entered this kingdom.

Why does this kingdom become a hideout of the demons? Weren't they afraid of being blown up by another meteor that I might cast towards them?

To confirm whether there were demons or not, I cast [Pure Eye] and then I saw multiple demons lurking among the beastman citizens while disguising themselves as one of them.

If I was one of the low-leveled soldiers in this kingdom then I wouldn't be able to identify the real appearance of these demons despite some of the demons using low-rank disguise skills.

But I was a hero who had achieved 10k levels and a hundred million worth of stat in every status. Moreover, I had acquired the [Pure Eye] skill which allowed me to see through high-rank illusions.

I now had two choices on what would I do in times of a situation such as this: Let the demons be or stick a meteor into their *ss.

I chose the latter so I cast [Meteor Shower] and then multiple molten rocks descended.

I controlled the meteor to hit the demons that disguised as beastman citizens and avoided hitting the innocent beastman citizens.

The meteors functioned like homing missiles as I manipulated them. Whenever a demon tried to avoid it, it will change its direction so that it would hit the target.

The meteors assaulted and killed all of the demons that disguised as beastman citizens which made my level went up several times.

I did not earn 6 times the experience because of [The Hero] since the system was on stats mode which rendered experience bonuses useless but in turn made me obtain more stats whenever I leveled up.

The surrounding beastman citizens were shocked by my bold actions to kill beastman citizens (demons) in broad daylight.

I didn't mind them but I was irritated when the soldiers surrounded me.

Why did this kingdom not learn from its past mistakes?

Do the soldiers want to destroy their kingdom by provoking someone powerful with high authority such as me?
