The Goblin's Leveling System!

The system message disappeared and my consciousness had returned.

It was a terrifying experience for me. Was that even real? Was I not hallucinating?

There was a screen that defied existence.

Was that someone who can bend reality and affect reality which inflicted me with some unknown feeling that even I had fainted for a moment.

Wait... Was it connected to the 'cause' of the unknown comatose incident? Was that even something a human can do?

All I know for now that it will not harm me as long as I will not investigate the cause of the comatose.

Well, screw it! I will not be genius if I will be afraid of some hindrance that will stopvent me from my research.

"Are you okay, Alex?"

Erin asked me while showing a worried expression on her face.

"I am okay. It's just that I had found out the cause of the comatose. All I can say about it was that it was not done by any pathogen or any human."

"If it's not something like that, was it related to something supernatural?"

"Yes. By the way, lunch time is almost finished so we'll talk about it after school with Reishi."

"Okay. Bye, Alex! See you after school!"

Erin greeted me goodbye while I waved back in response.

As Erin left, a minute had passed and the Science teacher was the one who will be our lecturer for this hour.

The teacher started his lecture which was quite boring for someone like me who majored in science.

It would not even be an exaggeration if I boast that I am much more knowledgable than the teacher.

I took out my notebook and wrote some things that I had discovered about the comatose incident.

The main thing about that incident was there was an system-like A.I. who was close to being called an omnipotent deity.

Not to mention that there were other 72 beings who was similar to the system but instead much weaker.

What if... The 72 beings had already infiltrated Earth and had disguised themselves as humans?

Well, the chance of that happening was slim since I would had already known about it using Soulium since I can see the shape of a person's soul.

The best possible hypothesis was that they were humans but had lost their humanity in exchange for power that was on par with my soul ability or much stronger.

I might be able to defeat one of them but only weakest amongst them.

I would be courting death if I go against the system who was used by the 72 beings but I must find the cause of it at whatever the cost.

I used my time to figure out the weaknesses of the system and the real cause of comatose incident.

It was already 4:30 in the afternoon and we were currently packing our bags since it was time to go home.

I controlled my hoverboard and rode on it like a skateboard in the halls. Such a thing would not be allowed but I was an exception to that rule.

If a person said that no one is above the law then I might disagree since I am a person who was above the law.

Of course, I did not cause any unscrupulous acts that broke the law and unethical experiments that uses human life as test subjects.

I only caused minor offences that was not harmful to any citizen such as riding my hoverboard during a red light since I could just hover above the cars.

But, it did not mean that I had not cause any indirect act of killing since my experiments such as the most radioactive and destructive chemical known as 'Axelium' was used in wars as a biological weapon.

I had both Soulium and Axelium in my bag just in case I needed it.

My hoverboard was also installed with a gun that used bullets infused with Soulium and Axelium for self-defense. It also had a self-destruct feature.

After riding the hoverboard for several minutes, I had arrived at the rooftop of the school building.

It was the spot where Reishi, Erin and I usually hang out and discussed about things or when we will held a meeting.

It seems that Erin and Reishi was still not here so I sat down and waited for them to arrive.

They sure are taking their time. Thirty minutes had passed and yet they still had not arrived.

Why do I feel that there was something bad that had happened to both of them.

Looks like I had to check up on them.

I rode on the hoverboard and went to Erin's classroom.

Erin was not inside their classroom. I asked her classmates about where she had gone to and they only told me that she went shopping.

That's odd. Erin and I had already made an agreement that we would talk about our research proposal after school.

It's not even my birthday so it was unlikely that she would buy a present for me. It's not even our monthsary.

How about I go to Reishi first so that I could ask for his help?

Even though it's not my style to ask for favors but the current situation needed me to ask for someone's help.

If I act alone in finding the whereabouts of Erin, it would take a longer time than having Reishi's help so I would rather ask for his favor.

I rode on the hoverboard and went to Reishi's classroom.

I had arrived at Reishi's classroom and yet I still had not found him.

There must be something bad that had happened to both Erin and Reishi.

Worst outcome that both of them died, I would have no choice but to destroy Earth to start again.

To do that, I would unleash my invention that was stationed on the moon and it's name was 'Devastator'

Ah, why did I not think of this? I forgot that I had the most intelligent A.I.

"Dream house, search Erin and Reishi. If possible, hack into the nearest satellite to further improve the searching ability."

"Yes, Alex!"

I looked at my wristband to look at the time and it was already 4:56 PM.

"Erin and Reishi, I hope both of you are safe or I would had no choice but to destroy Earth."

I waited for the response of the dream house so that I would know the whereabouts of both Erin and Reishi.

I was a genius in the programming skill.

I was able to code the almost flawless A.I. with a hacking ability that is on par to national level hackers.

"Master Alex, Erin and Reishi are at the Y district and is just 60 km away from master's current location."

Damn! I ran out of nitro boost after I had used it to arrive in school and not be late.

I did not know that it would backfire later.

Should I use Robot X's energy core as a source of fuel to improve my hoverboard's speed?

But that would lead to activate the overdrive feature of the hoverboard.

"Dreamhouse, summon Robot X and tell Robot X to hand me it's energy core."
