"Are you ready to experience hell again?"

The man said as he grabbed one of the tools on the table and fiddled with it.

"I now remembered who this person is. He's the one responsible for torturing you when you were kidnapped into this underground laboratory. Unfortunately, I lack soulerium so I am not able to unleash a soul energy attack against that b*start!"

"Who are you?", I asked the man in a white lab coat.

"I'm codename executioner. You might have also forgotten that I'm the one who was responsible for torturing you."

I don't need you to tell me that! Axel had already told me so I don't want to hear that from a b*start like you!

I gathered the remaining soul energy inside my body and transformed it into a soul energy bullet.

I shot the soul energy bullet towards Executioner's head at full speed.

The soul energy bullet traveled at a high speed and was perfectly aimed towards the Executioner's head and as it was almost reaching towards the head, it suddenly came to a halt as it was obstructed by a foreign chemical.

The soul energy bullet gradually lost its soul energy after it came into contact with the foreign energy until it dispersed.

"The 'Liberator' had already told me that you still have some soulerium left so I applied the chemical that was developed to repel soulerium. Now, you don't have any choice but to experience torture!"

The Executioner grabbed a metal tool that looked like a plier from the table and used it to hold one of my nails.

"Are you going to tell me about your inventions or suffer the torture I'm going to perform to you?"

"Do it if you have the guts! I would never endanger the world just for my actions! If this rotten organization gets a hold of my inventions, the whole world would be in chaos!"

"You're unyielding, aren't you? But too bad that it's just a worthless effort since you will experience hell!"

The executioner exerted force into his pliers and slowly pulled out one of my fingernails.

Arghhhh! Damn it! Blood oozes out from my finger that no longer had a nail.

"Don't pass out on me, okay? I'm just getting started!"

"Huff. Huff.."

I had a hard time breathing because I had been tortured for 3 hours straight.

The executioner pulled out all of my fingernails on both of my hands. That bastard even added salt and alcohol into my wound.

My fingers felt as if they had been burnt and the blood on my fingers had dried.

After that, the executioner took out a razor and peeled off my skin layer by layer. Blood dripped out from my skin as it was being slowly peeled off.

I felt the excruciating pain from the torture of the executioner that had made me thought of death instead.

It was already a miracle that I'm still awake and had not passed out.

"Your pain tolerance must have increased to even last this long. No one had ever managed to last an hour after I had tortured them!"

The executioner 'praised' me after I had endured his 3 hours tortured session.

"Are you sure you don't want to tell them about your inventions? Whatever choice you make I will still support you."

Axel asked and comforted me while he was standing beside the executioner unnoticed.

I was the only one who can see Axel since he was my alter ego.

The BHCRC organization had already tortured me so what's the point of telling them now?

"Makes sense. Well, that's your choice but I'm not sure if you're going to survive their torture. You might die because of blood loss."

It's not like I had any other choice but to endure their torture. If I die then it's my fate.

I don't blame anyone for giving me bad luck in this life. I just wish that I would have a happy life in my next life and you will be either my brother or best friend, Axel.

"I agree. I just hope that you won't be my enemy in my next life, Alex. My time is running out and I might ascend in the afterlife tomorrow. I won't be able to accompany you if that happens."

I know. It's painful to let you go and I still had not repaid you after all the things you had done to me.

"I'll stay dormant in your body for now and I will wake you up in the morning."

If I'm still alive tomorrow.

"Don't jinx it! Anyway, I'll see you tomorrow."

Okay, Axel.

My body was feeling weak after that horrendous torture and my body still excruciated pain.

I felt my body getting weaker and my eyes started to close. It must be because I had lost too much blood. Eventually, I had passed out.

I woke up and saw the executioner taking out a small bottle filled with a colorless liquid in his lab coat and an injection.

The executioner filled the injection with the colorless liquid.

"This is a truth serum. We had no other choice but to use such means since you would not voluntarily reveal the information about your inventions."

The executioner injected the truth serum into my arm.

The executioner waited for several minutes but my body felt excruciating pain as time passed by.

I can no longer move my body as if it was paralyzed and my heart started to feel as if it was being crushed and ripped apart.

I felt that my head was like being struck by a hammer and I started to lose my vision.

I woke up and saw that my body was at the bottom of where I'm standing at.

I jumped up and experienced floating in the air.

I saw Axel beside me.

"It seems that you died and the cause of your death is poison.", Axel said while he kept on examining my dead body.

"Somehow it feels weird seeing my dead body while I'm floating in the air."

"You'll get used to it.", Axel replied to me.

"It looks like I don't have any purpose in staying here. I'll ascend to the afterlife and look forward to meeting you in my next life. And before I forget, I'll erase your memory of the torture you had gone through so that you will no longer have any memories of your suffering and any motives about revenge."

Axel spoke to me and he touched my forehead. My memories from before started to fade, only fragments of it were left until none were left.

"I hope I will see you in your next life, Alex!"

Axel said to me as he rose above and disappeared in an instant.

My consciousness started to fade until I had lost my consciousness.
