The Goblin's Leveling System!

I opened my eyes and saw the interior of the holy church that I had seen via the God Of Worldly System's system screens.

A huge magic circle was below me and the heroes, priests, bishops and pope were surrounding me.

I wasn't the only hero who was summoned. There were 5 other human heroes beside me.

It seemed that they were either reincarnated or summoned into this world.

I mustn't underestimate them since they had the same potential in power growth such as mine due to them being a hero and obtaining cheat skills such as the cheat skills that I had received from the God Of Worldly Systems.

"What happened here?"

"To think that I had been running over by a 10 wheeler truck."

"How come I am here?! I was just taking a stroll in the park and now I ended up here? Did someone kidnapped me?!"

The other human heroes beside me were shocked since they were suddenly summoned into this world but some of them regained their composure.

I had learned from the God Of Worldly System that Gods usually sealed the memory of the heroes when they had met the God who reincarnated and the memory that was sealed will eventually break when they had reached an existence powerful enough to break the seal or when they achieved something that contributed to his world's development.

The God Of the Worldly System had also told me that he had sealed Axel's memories of the time when Axel had met up with him and distorted the memories of his death.

The only memory that the God Of the Worldly System had troubled in sealing was the memory of Axel absorbing my hatred and sufferings.

If God Of Worldly System had sealed that memory, there would be a high probability that Axel would become a vegetable due to that memory being the reason why Axel was manifested as an alter ego in the first place.

The God Of the Worldly System had accidentally erased my memory from Axel's memories so Axel would not recognize me and it will be pointless to say that I'm his best friend from his past life since it would only cause Axel to raise his suspicion of me.

The other heroes that were summoned were constantly chatting amongst themselves while Axel's group was also discussing and I happened to eavesdrop.

I heard that they were thinking about how to enslave us. Wait, enslave?! Just what made Axel's personality to be this worst even though I already knew what made him into this.

It was shocking for me to know that the former Axel was like a kind elder brother but now he's cold, distant, and only focused on his objectives.

Well, at least Axel did not become a cold-blooded killer who only kills without any reason.

"Heroes! I know you are all confused about why you are summoned here! I only ask for your cooperation so that we can have a peaceful conversation."

The Goblin Hero (Axel) spoke to me and the other summoned heroes.

"Who are you and what's with the skin color? Are we kidnapped by some otaku who dressed up as a cosplayer?"

A brown-haired boy who looked like he was 12 asked Axel. Wait, why was there a 12-year-old in here?

Can this world just summon some adults or teenagers? Do they want a kid to murder demons in cold blood just for the sake of saving the world?

Well, I don't care anyway because it's none of my business. Though, I'm looking forward to the reaction of the 12-year-old after he killed a demon or a monster.

"I was an otaku but not anymore. I have been summoned here as a hero and a hero's goal is to defeat the demon lord and that is all there is to it. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't care if you don't save people as long as you defeat demons diligently."

As expected from Axel, he doesn't even care about saving people and only cares about defeating the demon lord.

It's a good thing that I got a system that would motivate me to save people so that I can take care of the aftermath of every action that Axel had caused.

"What will happen if we won't defeat the demon lord?"

One of the summoned heroes asked Axel.

"Listen here pal, if we don't defeat the demon lord then the demons will dominate the world. What will happen to us after that? That's why we need to defeat the demons at all costs even if we sacrifice the humans or other races just to achieve our goal. We only need to prioritize in saving 1 male and 1 female of every race so that they wouldn't go extinct.", Axel explained to the summoned hero who had asked him a pointless question.

Why 1 male and 1 female? Is that supposed to be a reference from Noah's Ark? I didn't know that Axel read bibles.

"What will you do to us if we don't comply with your demands?"

A blue-haired girl asked Axel.

Axel replied by releasing his tremendous amount of mana towards the newly summoned heroes including me which suffocated us.

My consciousness was fading as the mana that Axel had released kept on disturbing my mana flow.

Just as I was about to pass out, a familiar notification sound rang throughout my ear.

*Ding!*

*The system has detected a tremendous amount of mana being used to attack the host. If this keeps up, the host's mana pool will likely be overloaded hence being destroyed in the process. The system's protection mechanism will be activated to save the host's life.*

*Absorbing the released mana in the air towards the host. The host will need to withstand the excruciating pain of being internally destroyed and repaired every time the mana will permeate the host's body. Initiating mana absorption in 3... 2... 1... Mana absorption will be initiated.*

As the system finished its message, the mana that Axel had released was being forcefully sucked and absorbed in my body.

Axel was astonished for a while before regaining his composure and releasing the tremendous amount of mana that he had emitted.

All of Axel's released mana was being absorbed and refined in my mana pool while I felt the pain of my mana pool being destroyed and repaired until the mana that I had absorbed including my mana was stored inside my mana pool without any leakage.

I opened my status to see the improvement of my mana points (MP) and I was shocked.
