Chapter 31: Old Xu’s Versailles!

The two-day exam passed quickly.

After the exam, regardless of how they performed, the students could relax for a while.

But for the teachers, it was the beginning of their busy work.

In the grade office, teachers of all subjects were engrossed in marking test papers.

“This math test was a bit difficult, I see quite a few students didn’t finish.”

“Physics too, the last big question was challenging.”

“The person who set the test said that all subjects are difficult this time, on purpose.”

A few teachers discussed as they graded the papers.

Just then, a teacher calculating the total scores suddenly spoke, “Not bad! There’s a perfect score in Math this time!”

“Perfect score? Is this the only perfect score so far?”

“Yes, there are fewer high scores in Math this time, let alone perfect scores!”

“Wow! Class 1, Old Xu can hold his head up this time!”

After a while, another teacher spoke, “There’s also a perfect score in Physics! It’s also from Class 1!”

“And in Chemistry too!”

The teachers looked at each other, found several perfect score test papers, “These papers are from the same student! They’re all from Class 1! Class 1 really made a big impact this time!”

At this moment, Old Xu came in.

“What are you talking about? Class 1? What happened to our class?”

“Nice going, Old Xu, when did your class hide such a secret weapon? How come we didn’t know before?”

“What secret weapon?” Old Xu was confused.

“You see for yourself, these perfect score test papers are all from your class, and from the handwriting, it seems to be the same person!”

Old Xu leaned over and took a look, “Huh? This handwriting looks familiar!”

Upon looking at the Math paper, Old Xu was shocked, “Isn’t this Qi Yun’s paper?”

He was the Math teacher, and he was the invigilator during the Math test.

He still remembered Qi Yun’s paper.

“Qi Yun?” A few teachers looked at each other, surprised. They hadn’t heard of this name among the students with good grades. Did Old Xu really hide a secret weapon?

What they didn’t know was that Old Xu was even more surprised as he looked at these papers.

After the papers were graded and the scores came out, Old Xu was sitting in the office, holding the score statistics in his hand, exclaiming, “This kid, he really got first place! I didn’t read him wrong!”

“Cut it out, you said it was impossible last time!” A female teacher next to him said.

“Last time, that was me being modest! I knew this kid had potential a long time ago!” Old Xu blushed, refusing to admit it.

“Don’t say that, this test was so hard, and he still scored so high, this kid is more than just potential! Why wasn’t it discovered before?” The female teacher asked.

“Why not? Because he was playful before! I think he never took the tests seriously before, otherwise how could he improve so much?” Old Xu said angrily, “Why did he do well this time? To sit next to a girl, only then did he study hard!”

Upon saying this, Old Xu crossed his legs, pretending to complain, “I tell you, this kid is hard to handle. He’s smart, but troublesome! People study hard to get the first place for the convenience of dating! What’s the use of good grades like this? He’s still disobedient even when he scores perfect!”

“You guys shouldn’t envy our class for having a top scorer,  but I’m really annoyed now, really annoyed!”

Hearing Old Xu’s words, the other people finally couldn’t help it.

This is too Versailles!

They really wanted to hit him!

“Don’t act coy after gaining an advantage! You old stick-in-the-mud, if you don’t want such a good student, let him transfer to my class. He can sit wherever he wants, with whomever he wants, how about that?”

A male teacher on the side said sarcastically.

“Good for you, Old Zhang! Dream on! You think you’re the only enlightened one?” Old Xu got anxious, picked up the teaching plan, and walked out of the office, “I’m going to change their seats right now!”

Looking at Old Xu’s hurriedly running out of the office, the teachers in the office looked at each other.

They sighed in unison.

Mr.Xu reached the classroom door with the teaching plan, the smile on his face disappeared, and he pushed open the classroom door with a stern face.

The classroom was still buzzing with quiet conversations, but when they saw Mr.Xu’s face, everyone quieted down.

Mr.Xu tossed the teaching plan onto the podium, his face turned even more sour.

“Noisy! As I walked here, your voices were the loudest!”

“Did you all do well in the exam? The exam scores are out, and our class’s performance is not satisfactory! The average score in Math is 15 points lower than the last exam!”

As soon as these words were out, everyone shrank their necks, not daring to look up.

“There are also some people who are not focused on their studies at all. Their scores in this exam have dropped rapidly, and they didn’t even finish the test!”

Upon hearing this, almost everyone was surreptitiously looking at Qi Yun.

Weren’t these words referring to Qi Yun?

It seems Qi Yun must have bombed the exam!
