The Last Game Emperor

Shi Fan opened his eyes the first thing he sees is obviously the wooden ceiling inside the inn.

"Oh, kid. You're back." Quan Shi said in a happy tone.

"Yeah sorry for the wait." He stood up and checked his inventory. As he is about to leave the room he noticed a mirror near the window. He stood before it and is amazed by his game character.

He's currently equipping only leather armor, some animal skin trousers, and old gloves. The Sword of Uograzi cannot be seen anywhere as weapons are forbidden inside inns. His looks are above average compared to other people that have seen while exploring the town. What is different however is his hair which is colored yellow. His eyebrows are black but his eyes are the same as in the real world which is blue. He estimated his height to be about 5'6 Ft.

He left the inn and headed to another area where the mysterious NPC is located. He headed inside the bar strange however besides the barkeeper all people inside are adventurers and not a single NPC is sitting. The adventurers noticed Shi Fan as he is just wearing simple clothing they didn't bother to recruit him to their parties thinking he just started the game and didn't have decent items.

"Maybe that person is late." Shi Fan said to himself. He sees a table with only one player on it and decided to stay there temporarily.

"Excuse me, sir?" Shi Fan knocked on the table as if he's knocking a door to catch the person's attention. The person sitting slowly looked up. And a scarred face in a hood is what greeted him as the person also look at him strangely

"Yes kid." the dude flatly said.

"Can I sit here for a while?" Shi Fan also flatly asked.

"Yeah sure." he nodded and gestured for him to sit.

Shi Fan sat down and waited for the NPC to come however even after waiting for almost 2 full hours the person still didn't appear.

Almost all of the adventurers inside the bar almost left except for the two of them. Shi Fan still decided to wait fearing he'll miss it when he leaves the bar.

As the last adventurer besides the two of them left after 30 minutes Shi Fan also decided to leave when the scar-faced person behind who he is sharing a table with suddenly spoke.

"You have an amazing patience kid." This time however the tone of the voice is very warm as if Shi Fan is in a calm spring.

Shi Fan turned around strangely to the person. His eyes stared wide in shock the moment he sees the person behind him.

"How can this be." Shi Fan couldn't help but said it out loud.

"Of course you're still weak to notice me. That's why I tested you." the person said then smile thereafter.

Before when Shi Fan met the person he still had visible scars in his face. Now however there is none as if he came from a noble family. What also changed is that his title and name can now be seen unlike before.

[Mysterious NPC] (Roland The Great) Level 70

"You are that person?" Shi Fan still couldn't believe that all the time the person he is waiting for is just near him.

"Hahaha of course." Roland laughed heartily.

"But how did you know I'm waiting for you?." Shi Fan asked.

"Why do you have to ask that? Of course, it's because the moon's energies are dwelling around you. Even though you are not the person I originally commission you still completed it." Roland said with a warm tone. NPC's have always higher intellect than normal adventurers. This also increases as their rank increases. It also applies to monsters the moment they reach ranks 6 and above.

"Now then. Show me what you have plucked." Roland hinted Shi Fan to show him the Moon Fruit he commissioned.

"Here it is Great Roland". he pulled out the moon fruit from his bag and showed it to the NPC.

"As expected! Just what I need for my potion." Roland exclaimed he immediately stored it in his own bag. The system suddenly prompted after that.

"As expected of a 2-star quest! It really gives unique rewards." having read the forums Shi Fan has heard of 2 Star quests giving unique items. What is special about the rewards is that they are not tradable it means the person who obtains it is the sole owner. Which is also sad to some people that want to trade the unique items in virtual stores. It is also the reason why some adventurers prefer to buy the starred quests and complete it themselves. The higher leveled the quests the more attractive it is. "This must be why that guy just gave me the quest easily since he knows it is just a low leveled quest."

Not dwelling any further he opened his bag and inspected the quest rewards.

Passive effect: Increases mount growth during training.

Active Effect: Temporarily increase mount movement speed by 20%. Usable 5 times every 24 Hours.

Crystal Bag(Unique Item)

30-Slot Bag

Passive Effect: When equipped-Prevents items inside from dropping upon death. Items inside the bag cannot be stolen, identified and traced by other individuals.

Key Of Truth(Epic Item)

Active Use: Opens 1 C.h.e.s.t of Truth.

Disappears upon usage.
