The Locked System

The group was coming back to the Slyorn Empire on foot, after all, the horses turned into monsters. Selene was still tired, just as the rest of the group even after resting for a few hours, except Hayato, who doesn't look as tired as them

' In a few hours more, I will regain my powers ' Hayato thought as he was seeing the moon. He was walking a few steps behind Kara then he observed the forest at his right ' Maybe more of those monsters are still out there, I can't let my guard down '

Emma walked near Selene with a displeased expression and says " Teacher, what that slave did was not right, there could have been normal people still alive in the village, he shouldn't have burned the whole place "

Selene turns to see her with a calm face and says " Emma, you maybe are right, but you saw them, they can transform at will even I can't distinguish between one of them and a normal human, it's was a wrong choice but we can't let any of them escape from there, even if that means to sacrifice a few innocent lives "

Emma sees Selene with an incredulous expression and Selene continues " That thing is still alive and many innocent people will die until it's dead "

" But they were weak, if we really tried, we could have saved all those who were still alive " Then she turns to see Hayato with a frowning expression " And not burned them to death "

Kara frowns seeing her, but Hayato doesn't even put attention at what they are saying, he was seeing at his right side as he walks with an expressionless face, then Kara says " It seems that you already forgot who saved you from turning into one of those monsters, you really are just as stupid as your sister "

Kara frowns a little as she sees him then she whispers " So, why were you there? If it wasn't for my blood, then why you participated in the tournament?"

Hayato turns his head to see in front of him and says calmly " To tell you the truth, I was there for the money and nothing else " When Kara heard him she makes an incredulous expression

Hayato turns to see Kara with a teasing smile and says " But now I stayed here to protect you " then he points at Selene " I want to know if that woman over there won't go for your blood " Kara opens her mouth and eyes in surprise, then she makes a pout and whispers " She never would do that " Then she ignores Hayato and makes a small smile, Hayato shakes his head and sees to his right again unknowing that Scarlett was seeing Kara with hatred

They were seeing a group of 6 Demons on the sky all with greyish skin, shiny red eyes and bat-like wings. They stopped moving when they arrived, floating above them. The Demons are four males and two females, all of them wear black armors with black swords of different designs on their waists, their armors look just like human armors but some have spiky shoulder pads or shoulder pads with human skulls above them. The female Demons wear the same type of armor the difference is that they don't wear armored pants, they wear black leather pants with small skulls on the knees and metallic protections on their t.h.i.g.hs and shins, all of them have black metallic boots

Selene was sweating but has a very serious face ' Demons! how is this possible?! '

Selene turns to see the sky with a calm face ' Most of them have the same strength as I, maybe I can trap them here until they manage to escape to the empire, if they run with all their strength they will arrive in a couple of hours '

The Demon has a strange jewel on his right hand, he moves his right-hand aiming at Selene and after a couple of seconds he says " You are not the one we are searching for, tell your partners to come out or we will destroy the forest "

A female Demon with short hair sniffs the air a couple of times. She has white hair and a slender body, she is quite small (around 1.60) and has a fierce expression on her beautiful face, she is quite young around 21 years old " Wait, I smell something, it's just... like a Dragon " Selene, Kara, and Hayato opened their eyes with surprise. Kara starts to shiver a little, she grabs Hayato's shirt with her shaking left hand

" What? " The Demon with the jewel scans the area with his eyes, then the female Demon with short hair points below them " The smell comes below us "

The other female Demon frowns. She has long black hair and a curvy body, she is a little bit taller than the other female Demon (around 1.65) she has an uninterested look on her gorgeous face and she looks more m.a.t.u.r.e than the other female Demon (around 29 years old) " It's not a dragon, I can smell the scent of a woman combined with it, the humans manage to fuse someone with Dragon's blood? The Demon is the second tallest (around 1.85) he has a strong body and short black hair, he also looks to be youngest between all the Demons like a human of 19 years old, he was seeing Hayato with a serious face ' That human, why is he here? '

A Demon with short white hair sees Addanack with a mockingly smile. He is a little bit bigger than the Demon with the jewel (around 1.77) he has a handsome face and his spiky hair was tied in a ponytail, he looks around 22 years old. " What? you can't do it? then... Hayato takes out his katana from his inventory and his Lostvayne from his waist then he yells " Selene! " and flies against the Demon then *CLANK* They clashes their swords but Hayato retreated a few meters back by the impact

Selene stabs the ground with her staff and yells " Sealing Fire Area! " *ZOOM* she creates a fire cube in an instant, the fire cube is around 60 meters tall and 60 meters wide and it covers her, Hayato and the Demons. The demons saw the cube with raised eyebrows but neither of them moved from where they are

Kara, Scarlett, Roman, and Erick come out from the trees, Kara runs towards the cube with a worried face and Selene turns to see her with a smile " Run now, we will stop them! "

Kara acted very nervously as she says " But master! what about you and Hayato!? please, let us help you! "

Selene smiles and says " No! all of you are weak only Hayato can help me to fight them, after all, he has that unique ability " She winks at Kara " Now leave, we will meet in the Empire! "

" Fire Obliteration! " Selene raises her staff towards the sky her eyes change their color to red and her hair starts to dance and bright with a red light, behind her a lot of small magic circles appeared. From the small magic circles, small dark-red fireballs come out flying towards the Demons on the sky

" Die! " The Demon who flew towards Hayato again but now his hand was shining with a black light *CLANK* *CRACK* *PUM* he clashed his sword against Hayato's swords with a lot of force sending Hayato flying back until he hits the cube wall behind him, but the impact destroyed the Demon's sword in half., the Demon saw his broken sword with a smile, then he released his sword and turned to see Hayato " What amazing swords you have there, especially that small one, do you mind if I take it when you die? "

" Said the female Demon with short hair named Sharrelle flew towards Hayato with the Demon Addanack beside her, her hand begin to shine with a red light she creates a small fireball appears then she throws the fireball towards Hayato, the fireball doubles it sizes the moment it leaves her hand

" Hey! be careful, you crazy b*tch! " Astaroth yelled with anger as he flies to his left evading the fireball

The fireball arrives in front of Hayato and he swings his Lostvayne towards it " Full Counter! " he sends back the fireball, surprising the three Demons who were fighting him ' I need to attack the weak one first ' he flew behind the fireball

" How is that possible!? " Yelled Sharrelle as she evades the fireball, Hayato then flew towards Addanack, Addanack sees Hayato with surprise and " Kami Chigi...! " " Oh no, you won't! Kara evade the attack moving her head back, but the sword cut a few strands of her blue hair then she falls on her b.u.t.t and sees Scarlett with surprise to then see her with anger " What are you doing!? " she yelled, Emma sees Scarlett with disbelief but she didn't dare to say her anything

Scarlett shows her a beautiful smile and says " You know what am I doing, I want my Hero " Emma and Kara see her with doubt then Scarlett continues " I'm the princess, I'm the only one who deserves him, no one else deserves him "

Kara shivers a lot seeing him, then she stands up quickly and covers her entire body with blue fire, seeing the young man with hatred, that young was Zeran

Zeran shows Kara a cold grin ignoring Scarlett that was a few steps in front of her " I told you that you will come with me, even if I have to break your arms and legs "

Scarlett frowns and points her sword towards him " Who are you? how you dare to interrupt us "

Hayato was panting, he still doesn't have his left arm and his face and body were covered with blood, two of three Demons that were in front of him doesn't look good either, Astaroth and Sharrelle have cuts on their faces and arms and some parts of their armors look melted the only one who looks intact is Addanack that was floating a few meters behind Astaroth and Sharrelle, he was seeing Hayato with anger

Hayato ignores her and he turned to see Selene, she was moving around quickly with the other three Demons behind her attacking her with their swords or using magic to attack her, Selene was surrounded by a red magic shield, the shield has some cracks but it was resisting their attacks, Selene was attacking them too, using different types of fire magic spells, the Demons are more injured than her so they were seeing her with hatred, Hayato nods slightly seeing Selene ' It seems that female Demon gave up trying to leave the cube, I'm sure that Selene is the only one who can open the cube '

' Just a little more and it will be midnight, I think I can kill the three of them if I use the Revenge Counter, I'm sure I can use it, but this damage is not enough to kill three of them at the same time, I need to provoke them more ' Hayato raised his right hand with Lostvayne then he yells " HellBlaze! " on the wall a hole appeared, the hole was around 2 meters Hayato flew through the hole and when he comes out flew towards the explosion, the Demons try to enter for the hole but the hole closed after Hayato passed through

" What a shame! " Said Selene in a mocking manner, the three Demons that were fighting against Hayato saw Selene with anger

" If we kill this woman the cube will disappear! " Yelled Xenyra to the other three Demons

" Then, we will see how much you will last against all of us! " Said Astaroth with a cold smile

Hayato was flying as fast as he could and the first thing he saw was Erick and Roman fighting against shadow monsters ' Those are Stalkers and a Shadow Reaper!? ' Hayato passed in the middle of them cutting a few of them with his swords covered with black fire, the Stalkers died almost in mediately, but there is still a lot of them, then he flew towards the Shadow Reaper and " HellBlaze! " he burned the Shadow Reaper turned him into ashes, Roman and Erick saw him with dazed expressions then they smiled and keep fighting the remaining stalkers as Hayato flew away

Hayato approached near the place where the explosion occurred, there he saw a lot of trees burning and the ground look melted in some places, there he saw too Emma and Scarlett, they were unconscious on the ground ' The ground around them is intact, it seems that Kara didn't want to hurt them, so she moved ' Hayato ignored them and he searched for Kara then he jumped a saw the huge crater on the distance saw a few silhouettes running away from the crater

Hayato flew towards the silhouettes and he saw a group of three young men escaping with an unconscious Kara on the shoulder of one of then, Hayato frowns and flew towards them ' Those guys again! this time I will kill them! '

" He starts to remember what happened to Maya, Alyra and Dye " All that happened because I'm weak!! " from Hayato's body, dark sparks began to appear again, then he remembered Zeran's mockingly face and Kara's face " I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU GO!!! " then finally he heard

" There he is, Sharrelle, Xenyra take this and go to kill that woman we will take care of him " Said the Demon Rozzan as he throws the jewel to Xenyra they began to flew towards Zeran direction but *BOOM* under them a huge explosion happened, creating a big crater and sending trees flying into different directions

All of the Demons saw the person who caused the explosion with amazement even Sharrelle and Xenyra stopped flying

Hayato was standing on the center of the crater with his dark wings extended widely and his head bowed, then he raised his head and all of his clothes blow in pieces around him a twister of dark energy appeared and finally that energy move towards Hayato, covering his lower body right to his feet that now look like he has 4 long claws in them, his upper body was now uncover showing his strong c.h.e.s.t, arms and stomach, he only has dark energy on his forearms and a dark sleeveless jacket, the jacket is a little long it was almost a cape

The Demons were seeing Hayato open-mouthed, unable to know what they were seeing

Hayato now has the mark on his forehead very extended, it covers almost all of it and goes even below his eyes

Hayato opens his eyes revealing his dark-purple eyes and the Demons feel chills running all over their bodies, they even start to see Hayato with fear

A few kilometers away from there
