Averill walked towards a café that was nearby, and the lady was following behind him. The eagerness couldn't be hidden from her face. When Averill arrived in front of the café, he sat on one of tables that were outside, and moments later, the lady sat on the opposite side of him.

After having sat down comfortably, a broad smile slowly appeared on Averill's face as he gazed into the lady's blue eyes. "You asked of my name earlier, let me introduce myself first then; I am Averill Kaiser."

"Ooh!" The lady was amazed by the confidence and charm Averill was showing, yet she was more intrigued by his smile and eyes. It was only a few seconds later that she popped out of her daze as she replied hastily. "My name is Harleen Quinzel, I am a psychiatrist, but I haven't been able to find myself a job yet."

Averill's eyebrows went up slightly, but he didn't say anything for a few seconds. "Let me guess then, you feel that you're very good in the subject of human mind, and now you're somehow interested in me?" The broad smile of Averill slowly vanished as a smirk slowly appeared instead and his eyes narrowed slightly.

Harleen Quinzel seemed shocked for a brief moment before clapping her hands together. "Yes! The second I saw your face; I knew that you're a person who's not like anybody else!" Harleen wasn't afraid of saying her piece of mind in front of Averill, as she could tell one thing, that the person in front of her shouldn't be lied to. That is unless she wanted something bad would happen…

A waiter suddenly appeared to their table. "Hello sir and miss, have the two of you decided what you want to get?" She was very polite as she eyes Averill's face which was something not even models had.

"A cup of tea for me, any kind is fine." Averill replied to the waiter in his usual soothing voice as he glanced at her for a brief moment.

"Ah, I would like a cup of black coffee please." Harleen also replied to the waiter who was standing by their table.

The waiter gave a bright nod as she smiled happily when Averill glanced at her. "Alright, I will be right back in a few minutes." She then ran off to handle their orders.

It was then that Averill's gaze went back onto Harleen. "You should know lots of what kind of person people are, let me ask you this question first; haven't you felt the danger warnings going off? You should have noticed it by now, that I would rip you into pieces if you bother me too much." As Averill said this, his voice was soothing to listen to, and his eyes were sharply staring at Harleen.

The weird combination that Harleen was seeing and hearing was something she yearned to see. The confusing smile that both seemed fake and real, the soothing voice, the sharp eyes, and even the presence Averill was giving off was unique. She seemed to yean in finding more about Averill for every second they were together. "I don't care about any of that! I want to find more about you, I want to learn everything about you." The eagerness showed clearly on her face and the tone she was using was almost as someone who was begging for acceptance.

"Too bad then." Averill spoke without any hesitation, and when he saw her expression cracking up slightly, he continued. "You wouldn't be able to find out much as even I don't know much about myself." And when Averill saw her confusion, he continued with a grin on his face. "That is because I have lost my memories. I woke up around a month ago in a forest without any memories."

"That is fine!" Harleen hastily blurted out, it wasn't until when Averill was gazing at her sharply that she knew what she said, she swiftly opened her mouth to explain herself. "Memories aren't everything, your behaviour and mentality is more than enough to start with."

Harleen then quickly stared into Averill's red sharp eyes as she spoke out. "Please let me work with you, together we can find more about yourself and uncover your memories that you seem to have forgotten!" Harleen then lowered her head, but her eyes were still staring at Averill, she honestly wouldn't take a no for an answer, even if it killed her. It has been over a year that she had graduated, praised as a genius in the field of psychology, yet hadn't been able to find a job suitable for herself. Harleen would do anything to work with Averill, who seemed to be someone who was much more interesting than boring people.

For the first time in a rather long time, a laughter sounded out from Averill's mouth. "Ahahahahaha!" His laugher was soothing, yet it also seemed creepy to listen to as it sent shivers through many people's back. It was only after half a minute before he stopped laughing and fiercely gazed at the woman who was a psychiatrist; Harleen Quinzel.

Whilst Averill was speaking with Harleen, Laura was with Selina, or also known as Catwoman in Gotham city.

Laura had been going for an entire day, stealing, robbing and injuring people. The things she stole were important stuff for powerful people, may it be politically, in strength as heroes and even villains. She didn't hold back anything as she went from one location to the next one.

The reason Selina did this was because there was a pair of eyes always behind her, that didn't intervene unless she was in danger. But Selina knew it, that Laura wouldn't really care if she died or not, the only reason Laura had saved Selina twice already was due to the order Averill gave both Laura and Selina, for Selina to provoke people and Laura to keep her eyes on Selina.

Selina was now standing on top of a building; she wore her usual black suit which clearly showed her body form, most men would l.u.s.t after her body if they saw it. Yet her eyes were bloodshot for being awake for too long and the exhaustion she felt from never stopping stealing from people, heroes and villains. "… You know… Everything would have been easier for me if you could help here and there! My body can't handle this any longer!" Selina was way too exhausted; she could barely keep her eyes open.

Laura suddenly appeared near Selina, the cold expression on her face showed that she wasn't pleased by how she spoke. It was then that Laura's gaze was put somewhere else towards the horizon, a smirk slowly appeared on her ever-cold face. "You have done your part for now; you may rest till further notice from Averill."

'It is as Averill predicted, the bat wearing man must be in a group and they are now going after all of us. Amazing, how did Averill guess all of this?' Whilst Laura was in her own thoughts, she saw a woman flying towards her and Selina.
