The Phoenix's Legion

The vampire lord Orfeo had no p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e in fighting nor a d.e.s.i.r.e for it but what he did enjoy was war tactics. Seeing his foes defeated by his intellect filled his soul with pride and joy, and so he comfortably sat on his floating emerald throne as he watched the shoguns attack the eastern lands as well as watch Helios struggle to defeat the vampire fleet. At the centre of this chaos was the eastern wall which Orfeo, piece by piece, easily began to destroy with his emerald ring called judgement bringer. The ring released a powerful green fog similar to the dark cloud above which would destroy everything in its path. Orfeo was winning the eastern battle and there was nothing standing in his way, this was something that prince Helios could no longer tolerate.

Helios: "I have no choice, I have to use the cursed arms weapon that was forged for me, I have to use the golden trident and summon the blue flames."

Kill-shot: "no Helios!!! Do you not remember what Threant told you, your mind has already been corrupted by Kali, if you use that weapon there's no telling what you'll do?"

Helios: "in case you haven't noticed Kill-shot were losing this battle!!! It's been hours since I removed my mask and nothing out of the ordinary has happened to me, we need to turn the tide of this battle, lead our men as best you can."

Kill-shot: "dam it Helios!!! You risk too much."

Helios: "we have all risked much to get this far, now it's time for me to pull my weight, after all, I am the second son of Titus, I am a prince."

Helios dove into the black ocean topless with his golden trident in his hand, completely submerged under water Helios had summoned a unique ability of the phoenix's legion, the blue flames. The blue flames couldn't burn anything not even a dry leaf, for years the royal family had considered it useless until they had realized that the blue flames could control water. This power, although tasking to the human body, was what the eastern forces needed to rally against the vampire forces.

Helios summoned the blue flames and as he did that he had gained absolute control of the black ocean. Giant tentacles made of water with a blue glow ascended from the black ocean and began to lay waste on the vampire fleet, with the aid of Kill-shot, the eastern aquatic forces began to take control of the battle field. The eastern land forces did not have such luck, with the great number of shogun beasts attacking the eastern lands, Kazuya was forced to use his cursed arms which gave him an unbelievable control of the lightning element.

This should have turned the tide of battle but the shoguns numbers went from the thousands to the millions, wave after wave the shoguns attacked with no end in sight. Kazuya fought and fought, trying to keep the shoguns at bay but his men were dying one by one until all that was left of the eastern land forces was one army slayer. The samurai were warriors famed for fighting with all their hearts, never giving up until either they achieved victory or died, Kazuya who was surrounded by shoguns whilst the eastern lands were still being attacked by other shogun was ready for both outcomes.

Kazuya was attacked from every direction, he was bloody and beaten, his armour weakened and broken, the young samurai got on his knees and watched his failure to save the eastern lands. He could see a blue light beyond the walls and knew it was his friend Helios rallying the aquatic forces, he knew that his failure had doomed his friend for once the shogun were done with the eastern lands, they would go after Helios and all the other legion forces, the east had failed, Kazuya had failed.

Kazuya: "forgive me father, for shaming your honour with my failure. Helios my brother, forgive me for my weakness, I could not stop the shoguns. I shall slay as many as I can but you will have to face what is left of them. I am Kazuya of the dragon creed and I shall see to it that I burn anyone that dares to claim my life!!! come at me!!! If you dare!!!"

Kazuya, nearly charging to his death heard a large sound from the sky, it was a sound that the legion had not heard in years. Helios and Kill-shot looked to the sky with smiles on their faces for they knew that what descended from the dark cloud was the mightiest fighting force humanity had ever known, the dragon creed. The great ship was such a sight that it even shocked the vampire lord Orfeo. The ship was so large that it cast a shadow on the entire eastern lands, from the ship a great number of warriors fell, attacking the shoguns in the eastern lands, fighting off the vampires destroying the wall and supporting the aquatic forces. Kazuya looked ahead of him and saw a tall figure standing in front of him wearing a silver armour and wielding a long samurai sword, it was Kazuya's father, Ryoko.

Ryoko: "on your feet boy!!! Kneeling on the ground bleeding and shouting to the heavens, this battle is far from over and frankly, the legion will need all the help it can when the real battle begins."

Kazuya: "father…? What real battle?"

Ryoko: "you have no right to ask questions of me and frankly we do not have the time, does that cursed weapon work as well as the legion claimed?"

Kazuya: "yes, but how do you know about these weapons?"

Ryoko: "you fools may have something to offer the dragon creed after all, prepare to charge the shoguns, first we'll strike the source of the shoguns then reclaim the walls, when this battle is over I will answer all the questions the king will ask of me until then boy, attack!!!"

The true shogun army of the dragon creed slayed the shoguns and reclaimed control of the eastern lands, they attacked the source of the shoguns and discovered the last breeder, there Kazuya and Ryoko fought against the giant beast so as to put a stop to the shoguns ever increasing number. At the black ocean, Kill-shot had successfully led the men to a great victory, the fleet had then been split into three. Two forces left to support the other legion wall forces whilst the third one being led by Kill-shot, returned to the eastern walls so as to finally end the eastern battle. Orfeo was so panicked that he nearly ran away but before he could, Helios with his eyes glowing with a bright blue light, leaped towards Orfeo's floating throne and stabbed the vampire lord with his trident to the c.h.e.s.t. Helios then stood completely still for the trident had put him in a trance.

Helios: "release me now!!!"

Mysterious voice: "I can't master, your mind is corrupted and so you must be cleansed before you can return to the battlefield."

Helios: "but we're winning, the legion can overcome this vampire army but they still need me."

Mysterious voice: "Kali is calling to you, you have pushed yourself too far and now the compulsion is starting to take hold of your mind, I am all that shields you from it."

Helios: "so if I let go of you, I'll become Kali's puppet again and she will use me to destroy the legions chances of winning this battle, she forced me to love her and it is for that reason why I will do whatever it takes to see that she wins."

Mysterious voice: "your success is my goal and purpose, I shall not allow my master to be a slave, I can destroy the compulsion but the process will put you in a long deep sleep."

Helios: "how long?"

Mysterious voice: "too long to continue this battle but once you wake your mind shall be free and whole."

Helios understood the tridents reasoning, if the compulsion was left to corrupt Helios the brave prince would surely turn on his own men. He understood that he had done all he could for the east and that he had to step aside and let the legion carry on the battle.

Helios: "do it, free me from this compulsion, if what you say is true and if I understood Threant's briefing, then you will do all you can to see me succeed, so get on with it."

Mysterious voice: "as you wish my master."

The trident pulled itself from Orfeo's c.h.e.s.t and fused with Helios's flesh and put him into a deep sleep, Killshot saw the brave prince falling into the black ocean and rushed to retrieve him using his glider.

Kill-shot: "Helios, Helios!!! What the hell did that weapon do to you?"

Magi soldier: "it seemed to have put him in a coma, the prince has fallen."

Acheron: "and soon you all shall join him."

Kill-shot looked to the sky and saw the vampire lord Ragna had defeated floating above him, the vampire had summoned the ascending rain and readied himself for battle.

Orfeo: "lord Acheron it is…."

Acheron: "silence yourself weakling, make yourself useful and join the battle at the wall, I have a score to settle with this soldier."

Kill-shot: "how are you here!!?"

Acheron: "Kali had freed me from Threant's prison, she is quite capable with her teleportation abilities."

Kill-shot: "so the capital…."

Acheron: "oh don't worry soldier, she didn't teleport herself beyond the capitals walls, that would be boring. She wants to make the king suffer but as I was freed I soon realized that Ragna was no longer at the royal capital, so I will ask you this only once, where the hell is Ragna?!!!"

The eastern battle has taking another turn for the worst for Acheron has now joined the fray, Helios has been lost and Kazuya and Ryoko are still battling the shogun breeder, the only one in Orfeo and Acheron's way is Kill-shot and the third aquatic fleet. Kill-shot is a skilled soldier and very resourceful but to ask a soldier to fight not one but two vampire lords is just asking for the impossible, Kill-shot is geared to face is greatest obstacle yet. Back at the royal capital, Kali and her forces are ready to begin its attack but before Kali could give her orders to attack, the royal capitals gates had opened and what it revealed shocked the immortal army. Instead of an army the only thing that approached Kali and her forces was King Titus and Threant, only two men would challenge the vampire army being led by Kali.

Kali: "have you gone mad?!!! You're going to fight all of us by yourselves? Where is your royal army?"

Titus: "my son Drago has led his forces to the south and Ragna has led a force to the north, if you are interested in fighting the children then you are free to chase after them."

Kali: "well Acheron will feel quite disappointed, he took a simple guess and hoped that Ragna would be fighting at the eastern wall and I was hoping to meet that handsome son of yours."

Titus: "yes, Drago was also looking forward to meeting you but if there is anyone who is owed vengeance it is me."

Threant: "I on the other hand just can't stand idle after your magic infected my space, its rude and disrespectful, I rather got used to keeping Acheron as my personal lab rat."

Titus: "with all that being said, shall we enter the fray once more my old friend."

Threant: "yes, it's about time you showed them why you are the king of Rovahn."

King Titus looked to the heavens and roared like a beast, fire emitted from his moth and it began to consume the sky, the dark cloud had been completely covered in flames, all of Rovahn had been shadowed by the flames above, every warrior of the legion knew that the great lion had awakened. From the flames fell golden ghost like giants that looked like titans, with them fell ghost like towers and gates that were broken, this was king Titus's legendary power, the falling heavens, the mightiest warrior of the phoenix's legion was ready for battle, the king was ready to put an end to the destruction and desolation of this battle.

Ragna's log: "damn that king sure knows how to show off, well I have been in hiding long enough. All this power in my veins is driving me crazy, if I don't release it I'll explode, I don't truly know what to expect but as long as I owe this power to no one I honestly couldn't care. It's been a long hard road being trained by Drago but I endured it all, I am ready to join the battle, I am ready to fight beside the royal army, I am ready to defend Rovahn. This is going to be my defining moment, this is the battle that will make me a legend among army slayers, this is the beginning of my destiny, to be the earths greatest hero, Ragna of the royal capital signing out."
