The battles have taken a great toll on both sides but none have suffered more than the mortal soldiers, the deaths just continued to grow and grow that it was a wonder how the mortal army was still fighting. The super suits, tanks and heavy artillery wasn't enough to push the vampires back at least not until the dragon appeared for in its fiery rage it burned not just the mortal alliance but the vampires as well.

And with another being entering the battlefield it gave the soldiers an opening for with the vampire lords and elders occupied the mortal alliance soldiers could beat the ordinary vampires back. Damian could be seen battling some massive humanoid beast creature of tremendous strength. It seemed to be impervious to every form of magic including dragon fire, until now only Hunters shield was capable of that. With the vampire soldiers without leadership all the mortal soldiers needed was the inspiration to push forward. For despite lacking leadership the vampire soldiers still outnumbered them and with the dragon flying around the skies belonged to the vampires.

Gunslinger: "ok I have had just about enough of this, we keep getting our asses kicked and damn it I just can't take it anymore."

Creed soldier: "what would you have us do, there numbers are just too overwhelming, we can't…..."

Gunslinger: "shut up!!! Can't you cowards see that their leaders are distracted? Their feasting on our wounded men, they believe that this battle is over but were going to prove them wrong."

Creed soldier: "what do you have in mind?"

Gunslinger: "we push our reserved forces forward, every single one of them as well as order the aerial forces down to support us."

Creed soldier: "but if we do that the grey vampires well join the ground battle."

Gunslinger: "not if all our tanks focus on covering our boys in the sky while they back us up, no matter how hairy things get we stay in formation, defend the man next to you and push forward. our boys in the front will use anything they can as a shield so that the second and third line can focus on shooting down those blood suckers. Now is there any heavy super armours left?"

Creed soldier: "yes but they are greatly damaged, we can't be sure if..."

Gunslinger: "if they can shoot then it's good enough for me, they will take our tanks place in supporting the push forward. Salvage any weapons you can on the battlefield, the Lycan's are scattered all around us, when they see us they will rally."

Creed soldier: "can we trust those animals I mean one minute they look like us and the next thing we see them turning into giant wolves!!!"

Gunslinger: "as long as they attack the vampires were going to keep using them, their still fighting so we know that Ragna and his group are still alive. We have to commit to this, all creed and legion forces push on!!! For the mortal alliance!!!"

The mortal alliance with the leadership of gunslinger slowly begun to push the vampire forces back, as was predicted the vampire soldier's had lost focus and were being dealt with easily. The vampires panicked and started to attack blindly some of which were being consumed by their king's own dragon fire. The sky forces joining the battle did attract the grey winged vampires but the tanks and canons held by the super armour forces did a decent job at holding them back.

The lycan's converged to Gunslinger's forces including the soldiers that were scattered all over the battlefield, the mortal alliance pushed to the remains of the great dragon which was filled with weapons and thousands of soldiers who were defending the wreckage.

The mortal alliance put together a strong hold and begun making a wall around the great dragon ship, a chain of command was re-established and the vampire forces were blocked from joining the main battlefield. The soldier's moral was strengthened and it grew even greater when Yasumori's sisters had been recovered from the battlefield. They were badly wounded but the two proud warriors gathered themselves and assumed command.

The soldiers took advantage of their commander's bravery in holding the vampire elders back but the greatest hero in this moment was Gunslinger who rallied the mortal alliance. Now all he had to do was keep Labunka and his growing army from breaking through the newly established blockade. Gunslinger with Yaeko and Nakano readied themselves to face down this new onward coming vampire force.

While the mortal alliance rallied Damian had been beaten by the humanoid tiger beast, as the fight persisted the beast's strength grew and grew, it continued to adapt to the fight. Damian used dragon fire, compulsion and even tried to bite the creatures neck so as to drain its blood but its flesh was impossible to penetrate. The beast seemed to greatly despise vampires but it focused most of its attention on Damian almost as if it carried a personal grudge against him.

Damian: "I will admit monster that you are quite strong, if it wasn't for your tiger like form I would think you a lycan, no vampire could be capable of defeating such a creature, at least not one made by me. I am a vampire that was directly turned by Raziel, his elders, lords and wives were given their power through me, the power am about to show you is one that only Raziel's vampires can summon. Every vampire's powers are connected to a shadow because their souls fall into the curse pool that flows within Raziel, this is where the thirst for blood comes from this is what is known as the sinking.

There is a second form that only Raziel and his vampires possess, the ascendance, this is when a vampire taps into the remains of Raziel's power as a perfect being, I will show you the might of the Dragonforge bloodline."

Damian emitted a great golden light that blinded the beast, when the light deemed the tiger beast saw an older version of Damian, he appeared as a young man, tall and strong with short beautiful red hair. This form was nearly impossible to maintain, Damian couldn't stop his hands from trembling because of taking this form but his pride had been wounded, he was determined to kill this unknown beast, defeat was beneath the greatest vampire elder.
