The Princess of Northern Land

Chapter 14 Business Opportunities (2)

The old man frowned and glanced at her, and Lin Changshu looked up at her in confusion.

"I had some ideas in my mind, but I couldn't decide, so I wanted to give it a try." Lin Ziyin explained with a dry smile.

"Okay, I'll ask you about it in the evening." The old man agreed after drinking the bean paste.

"It's at Old Manzi's house in the far west of the village. Grandpa, I'd better go over and ask." Lin Changshu didn't stop Lin Ziyin.

"Then go over and ask." The old man nodded.

The matter was settled.

After the family finished eating, Mr. Lin went out carrying a heavy load of firewood, while Lin Changshu and Guo Huiniang continued to work in the fields.

The old man came back only when the moon was rising above the willow branches. Lin Changshu also borrowed the millstone from Lao Manzi's house.

Lin Ziyin felt happy when he saw that the millstone was not big.

She is currently relatively weak, so a smaller millstone would be beneficial to her performance.

"I also found this set of carpentry tools for you, but they won't be used for a long time, so they have to use them again." The old man quietly placed a set of carpentry tools on the table.

When Lin Ziyin heard this, she came over to take a look happily. Although these tools were not complete, they were enough for her.

"Brother, help me at night."

"Oh." Lin Changshu glanced at her in surprise. This little girl didn't know anything before, but now she's playing carpentry. Could it be that the Bodhisattva and the Buddha really appeared?

Lin Ziyin observed the confusion in his eyes, but she just smiled slightly and did not point it out. With her original words, she could be sure that the Lin family would not doubt her.

"Sister, what do you want to do?" After dinner, Lin Zige watched in confusion as Lin Ziyin directed Lin Changshu to split the wood into pieces of wood of different lengths.

Lin Ziyin smiled slightly and replied, "I don't have a bottom line, but I always feel like I'm ready to move."

"Okay." Lin Ziyin didn't want many pieces of wood, so Lin Changshu quickly split the wood according to her requirements.

"Thank you, brother. It's been a hard day, so you should go to bed early." She said with a smile.

"Okay." Lin Changshu nodded. After a tiring day, he needed to rest early. The work in the fields was still waiting for him tomorrow.

"Sister." Lying on the bed, Lin Zige was still unwilling to give up and wanted to ask Lin Ziyin what he wanted to do. "Those timbers?"

"Sister, find me some clean gauze to sew into a belt tomorrow. By the way, find some beans for me too." After saying that, Lin Ziyin closed his eyes.

Lin Zige saw her tired look, so he suppressed the doubts in his heart.

After getting up early the next morning, the family ate some bean paste in a hurry, and then Lin Changshu and the others went about their own business.

Lin Ziyin, on the other hand, took his two children and ran several laps around the front and back of the house in a playful manner.

"Don't be tired." Lin Zige said loudly.

"Oh, I'm not tired. It's good for your body to do some exercise." Lin Ziyin replied with a smile, then found the tools and started to prepare for work.

"Sister, what are you doing?" Lin Changting stood on the side with a basket and watched. This kid also has a mission. He raises a piglet at home, and catching pigweed has become his daily mission.

"I'm practicing." Lin Ziyin replied.

"Oh." Lin Changting nodded as if he were an adult, then took the small sickle and prepared to go out.

"Brother, I'm also going out to find some wild vegetables." Lin Zige put the gauze bag on the table, and then said to Lin Ziyin, "Sister, all the things you want are here. Keep an eye on Yan Zhi at home."

"Sister, I am obedient." Yan Zhi said, blinking his big eyes. "My sister is sick, and I'm watching over her."

"Yan Zhi is so good." Lin Zige did not correct his wrong name, but looked at him with a look of relief, "Good boy, you should take good care of her."

Lin Zige pointed at Lin Ziyin and explained to Lin Yanzhi.

"I'm optimistic about my sister." Lin Yanzhi smiled when he was praised.

Lin Ziyin looked on happily.

"I'm leaving." Lin Zige carried a small basket on his back and a sickle in his hand.

"Okay." Lin Ziyin said very little. She was thinking about how to start work.
