The rise of nanometers

Chapter 104 Water Delivery Plan

After a while, the water level in the river more than two hundred meters away began to rise and flowed rapidly downstream.

After the test showed no problems, Ye Changcheng immediately informed the employees of Hekou Station to close the water transfer gate. It was not the time to transfer water yet. We must wait for the water distribution facilities and pressurization facilities at Guhua Station to be built before we can officially supply water to Guhua District. Supply pure water.

Beside the planning map, Ye Changcheng said to everyone:

"At the end of the month, the Dongying North Line will be extended to Shanghe County and Linyi County. If all goes well, we can lay the pipeline to the canal in Linqing City in about three months for the remaining 260 kilometers. .”

Li Xingguo from Hebei Province made an estimate: "It's early May now, and it will be early August in three months. It seems we need to prepare early."

"Indeed, I suggest that along the South Canal, be prepared to open the gates and release water, and make good use of the previous irrigation ditches." Zhao Xiaojun also has the same opinion.

In the Blue Era, which is taking over and rectifying local water affairs in Hebei Province, relevant planning must be done as soon as possible to prevent cities and farmland along the river from being unprepared when the water arrives.

Of course, this requires active local cooperation.

In fact, both Hebei and Yu provinces are very supportive of the blue era plan, even more so than the south-to-north water diversion plan they have been planning.

The reason for this is that after the water transmission pipelines in the Blue Age are built, the water pressure can be increased to increase the water transmission volume.

The current water flow rate in pipelines is about 8.3 to 8.6 meters/second. At this water flow rate, a water pipeline with a diameter of 3 meters has a flow rate of 93,000 to 96,000 cubic meters per hour, which can transport approximately 810 million cubic meters of water per year.

For every 0.1 meter/second increase in water flow velocity, the annual water transportation volume increases by approximately 10 million cubic meters.

The limit of silicon nanometers can withstand water flow speeds of approximately 40 to 50 meters/second. From an economic perspective, 20 to 25 meters/second is the most cost-effective.

In other words, within the range with the best cost performance, the annual water delivery volume of a single-line water pipeline is 2.4 to 2.6 billion cubic meters.

If cost-effectiveness is not considered, if the water flow speed is increased to 40 meters/second, about 4 billion cubic meters of water can be transported every year.

You must know that this is a single line, and there will be second and third lines in the future.

In planning and design, the east and middle routes of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project will only deliver about 4.4 billion cubic meters of water per year.

In fact, BEWG has already contracted the tap water supply in Beiping and Tianjin, and plans to build a desalination plant along the coast of Tianjin to completely solve the water problems in the two places.

Therefore, the strategic status of the eastern route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project has plummeted. Currently, the central route and the western route are being considered, which still have some strategic significance.

After inspecting the Dongying North Line, all parties discussed the next plan for the water transmission pipeline. In addition to the Dongying North Line under construction, as well as the extension of the Dongying North Line, namely Linqing-South Canal and Linqing-Handan , Xingtai, except this one.

It is also planned to build the Cangzhou line, which will extend to the north of Hengshui, Shimen, Baoding, Langfang and Zhangjiakou.

The Qinhuangdao line extends to Tangshan and Chengde.

The Rizhao Line passes through Weishan Lake and enters the inland Henan Province.

Each province will subsidize these water pipelines at a price of two million per kilometer. In addition, each province is responsible for land acquisition.

Even in order to speed up the laying speed, Hebei and Yu provinces also promised to build pipeline foundations.

Zhao Xiaojun did not refuse. Anyway, the pipeline base has no technical content. As long as the indicators meet the requirements of the blue era, each locality will prepare it on its own.

According to the preliminary planning and design, this water transmission plan has a total of four lines, and the construction speed is to extend 100 to 150 kilometers inland every month.

It is expected that all main line laying will be completed before 2012.

It also forms the Qinhuangdao Line (double pipe) with an annual water transmission capacity of 4 billion to 4.5 billion cubic meters, the Cangzhou Line (five pipes) with an annual water transmission capacity of 10 to 12 billion cubic meters, the Dongying Line (five pipes) with an annual water transmission capacity of 10 to 12 billion cubic meters, and the Rizhao Line. (Eight pipes) Annual water delivery capacity is 16 to 20 billion cubic meters.

The total water transport capacity is 40 to 50 billion cubic meters per year.

With so much pure water input, in addition to domestic, commercial, agricultural, and industrial water, officials also set aside a part of it, about 4 to 5 billion cubic meters per year, for ecological water replenishment and re-injection into the deep underground to prevent the North China Big Funnel. Continue to sink.

The price of ecological supply water is 0.35 yuan per cubic meter.

In fact, the Blue Era did not make much money. As the water transmission distance extends, the transportation cost will increase by 0.01 yuan on average for every ten kilometers, which is a dime for one hundred kilometers.

For example, the length of the water transmission pipeline from Cangzhou to Shimen reaches about 360 kilometers, and the cost of water transmission alone reaches 0.36 yuan.

In addition to water purification costs, equipment depreciation, personnel costs, etc., the total cost is about 0.16 to 0.18 yuan per cubic meter.

Therefore, ecological supply water, within 50 kilometers from the coast, earns an average of 0.12 to 0.14 yuan per cubic meter; a distance of 50 to 100 kilometers, an average of 0.07 to 0.09 yuan per cubic meter; and more than 200 kilometers away, it is basically at a loss.

This part of the money lost can only be subsidized by the finance. Anyway, the groundwater has returned to its previous state, and ecological supply water is no longer needed.

In order to reduce part of the cost, Blue Age plans to arrange hydroelectric generators at the water outlets of the water distribution stations to supply power to the relay pressurization system.

The reason for this design is that the high-speed flowing water needs to be decompressed at the water outlet, because the user's outlet flow rate is usually 0.6 to 1.2 meters per second. If the flow rate is too fast, It may harm the body. Just refer to high-pressure water guns and high-pressure water jets.

Rather than letting the kinetic energy of this water go to waste, it is better to use it to generate hydroelectric power and supply it to the re-pressurization system of the water distribution station.

After the relevant contract was signed, the announcement of this cooperation instantly aroused heated discussion in the country, and even foreign countries took notice of the contract.

After all, 40 to 50 billion cubic meters of seawater are desalinated every year and supplied to inland areas. For countries with coastal areas but lack of fresh water resources, the attraction is indeed very huge.

Especially the big players in West Asia have a lot of desalination plants, but their technology is not as good as that of Suiren Company.

However, their oil is very cheap. They can use oil and natural gas to generate electricity, reduce the cost of desalination, and barely meet their own water needs. If they are just growing food, there is no need to think about it.

As for those developed countries, although they are concerned about this technology, they have no urgent need.

All parties have sent many inspection groups to China to inspect the desalination plants of the Blue Age, but their purposes are different.

The big players want to buy desalination equipment, while in developed countries, Australia and Mediterranean countries in need want to acquire technology, and even invest in or acquire Blue Age.

As the world's largest country, the Asia-Pacific Division of the CIA is also not idle. They are paying more and more attention to Suiren Company, a technology company that has suddenly emerged.

It's just that China's protection is very strong, and within Suiren Company, the security department is also highly vigilant.

The company's scientists, technicians, and executives are all under strict protection, including their families.

It is even stipulated that scientific researchers are strictly prohibited from going abroad or going out alone. They should take as few flights as possible. If they have to fly, they should not concentrate on one or two planes.

Just like when Huang Xiuyuan went north to Shandong Province, he took the high-speed rail.
