After all, the energy conversion efficiency of coal-fired steam turbine generator sets in thermal power plants is usually only 40%. If it is a supercritical steam generator set, the ultimate efficiency is about 49%; if it is a circulating gas cycle generator set, the ultimate efficiency is 58%.

I heard that Siemens abroad is developing a new combined cycle gas generator set with an efficiency of up to 60%.

The thermoelectric conversion efficiency of Huaneng, a Texas thermal power plant, is only about 40%, and about 60% of the energy is wasted. Although part of the waste heat can be used to heat nearby residents in winter, the overall efficiency is still not high.

Wang Shuo and Huaneng engineers have estimated the effect of the thermoelectric power generation system. Based on the calculation of 60% waste heat, they believe that the 24% thermoelectric efficiency of thermoelectric power generation can increase the overall efficiency by 14.4%.

After the transformation of thermoelectric power generation, the efficiency of coal-fired generating units in ordinary thermal power plants can be increased to about 54.4%, which is even better than supercritical generating units.

Faced with this kind of independent business, Wang Shuo really didn't have much room for bargaining, so he could only agree to Chang Fuguo's price: "Okay then!"

The temperature difference transformation price of Snail Industry is calculated according to the type of generator and installed capacity. Generally, coal-fired generating units cost 50,000 to 100,000 per megawatt, and a 300-megawatt generating unit costs about 15 to 30 million.

This is already the result of Snail Industrial's discount. Otherwise, doubling the price would not be excessive, and it may not be available.

"By the way, Mr. Chang, our project is ready and we're just waiting for your equipment."

Chang Fuguo nodded: "Don't worry, the equipment is almost done. Your site is ready. It can be shipped to Ning District after the Spring Festival."

"The site must be ready. The power plant was prepared in 2007. If not for this upgrade, it would have been put into power generation long ago." Wang Shuo said with a smile.

Chang Fuguo was very concerned about this matter. This was a new energy project jointly developed by Snail and Huaneng. He thought about his work schedule and then said:

Foreign General Electric (not the same company as General Motors), Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Ansaldo usually have a single-stage combustion efficiency of 40% and a cycle combustion efficiency of about 58%.

Comparing the two, the gap is so huge.

"Is this what you and Institute 703 did?" Chang Fuguo sounded a little doubtful of their abilities.

The two parties had been grinding their teeth over this matter for more than a month, and finally adopted a compromise plan. In the early stage, half of the generating units were given to General Electric gas turbines, and then as the performance of domestic gas turbines improved, the market share was gradually given to domestic gas turbines.

Since there was no suitable domestic enterprise at that time, the gas turbine company of Datang Power Generation Group was the main company, and the 703 Research Institute, the five major power generation groups and Suiren Company jointly funded the establishment of Beifeng Gas Turbine Company.

After inspecting this old gas turbine, Chang Fuguo was really disappointed, but he had no choice but to rely on temperature difference power generation to improve the overall efficiency.

He and Wang Shuo inspected the Dezhou Power Plant for a long time, then returned to the company to arrange other work.
