A gas turbine generator set with a rated power of 300 megawatts actually exploded into an output power of 351 megawatts when operating at full power.

Compared with ordinary coal-fired generating units, with the same calorific value, the efficiency of coal-fired generating units is only 40%, while the temperature difference + the thermal efficiency of the gas turbine has exploded to 68%.

The improvement in thermal efficiency allows the same fuel to achieve higher utilization, which not only reduces pollution emissions, but also increases power supply. For power generation companies, the cost of power generation will be further reduced.

After running continuously for about two days, the engineers found out the minor problems of the entire system one by one, and then shut down the system for improvement.

Within the factory area.

The electricity generated during these two days of trial operation was not wasted. Instead, it was all used to refine elements and refine methane and propane. The waste is shameful.

The excess methane and propane are stored in a reserve area 2.3 kilometers away from the factory, specifically for emergency backup in case of shortage of raw materials.

In addition, in the gas refinery area, there is also a new process developed by Suiren Company, carbon dioxide decarbonization technology.

Wang Shuo, Du Jinhua and others, wearing gas helmets, looked at the pure carbon powder compressed into carbon bricks. These pure carbon powders are products produced through carbon dioxide decarbonization technology.

"This technology is good, and your Suiren Company's ideas are really unconventional."

Du Jinhua smiled: "After all, energy will not disappear, it will only be transferred. We just preserve it in the form of fixed carbon."

Huaneng's engineers were impressed. They are industry insiders in the power industry and naturally know many of the problems in the domestic power generation industry.

At this stage, the domestic power industry faces problems including long-distance transmission losses, which account for 6 to 10% of total power generation; another problem is the uneven spatial and temporal distribution of electricity.

In particular, waste power such as wind power and photovoltaic power can be called the killer of the power grid, which greatly increases the difficulty of power regulation.

The emergence of carbon dioxide decarbonization technology is to solve the problem of power regulation and convert the electricity in the surplus period into fixed carbon. When the power demand reaches the peak area, the fixed carbon is added with water, refined into water gas, and sent into the In gas power plants.

In this mode, the energy generated by wind power and photovoltaics can be fixed, stored for a long time, and used anytime and anywhere.

Carbon dioxide decarbonization workshop.

Several engineers are trying to fix a few minor issues.

This technology is another big application of six-cone ball oxygen.

The decarbonization workshop extracts carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, turns it into liquefied carbon dioxide through compression and condensation, and then injects six-cone oxygen for decarbonization. The refined products are pure carbon powder and pure oxygen.

The pure oxygen is not wasted, but is directly sent to the gas power generation system to improve the full combustion rate of the gas, and the excess pure oxygen will be released into the atmosphere.

"Mr. Du, with your technology, there is no need to build energy storage reservoirs and the like, and it reduces carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The carbon neutrality trap of those foreigners is no longer effective for us." Wang Shuo smiled broadly.

Due to the need for environmental protection and carbon neutrality, the thermal power industry, which accounts for the largest proportion of domestic carbon dioxide emissions, is the first industry to bear the brunt.

Especially after the signing of the Copenhagen Accord in December last year, China's environmental pressure has increased day by day.

This also accelerated the in-depth cooperation between the five major power generation groups and Suiren Company.

Huaneng is the first power generation group to take advantage of the situation.

The model of Weizhou coal gangue power plant is not yet its final form, because the power plant does not yet have supporting photovoltaic fields, wind power plants, etc. These waste-to-energy plants are a huge supplement to the gas refinery.

The next step for Huaneng Group is to introduce composite solar panels from Snail Industry. Ning District is a solar energy-rich area, with the total annual solar radiation exceeding 1,740 kilowatt hours/square meter.

With the successful trial operation of Weizhou coal gangue power plant, the joint report of Snail Industry and Huaneng Group has also reached the hands of the other four power generation group CEOs, and now they are even more eager.
