The Rise Of Park Yejoon

Sanghoon, Mingyu, and Yejoon's mothers all met up and with a click, they became the best of friends.

They would go shopping together.

They would drink coffee together.

They would watch their sons conversing together.

They were great friends.

This also brought in extra glances in the streets because all three were beautiful women.

All of this allowed the boys to meet up very frequently. They were no longer friends. They were family.

Yejoon was receiving a lot of attention.

XXX had recommended for him and Mingyu to open a live streaming channel and stream occasionally on things they did (Similar to VLive). XXX wanted them to gain lots of attention and love from the fans. This would not only gain them much more money from his fans going to concerts where both appeared, but it would also gain them the privilege of being the company where the Park Yejoon and Jung Mingyu would rise. The company had great expectations for them. In fact, they had already gained lots of money from the merchandise many fans had bought and had received lots of attention from all over the world only due to them. This attention also gave them a slight additional influence over people.

The company had also given him a phone, noticing he did not have one. An iPhone X. It seemed Apple, Microsoft, Tesla, and big technology companies did not change. They had the same products, CEOs, and ideas.

It seemed the only things that had changed were related to the entertainment industry. This. however, it included movies, songs, shows, and more. (Yejoon rubbed his hands evilly at this part.)

XXX had already made him an account and he already had a verified badge on his profile.

People searching his name in a search engine had been linked to his streaming channel and he had unknowingly already gained 2,000 followers.

He told his mom he would start streaming and she only interrogated him for a few minutes before letting him go back to his room.

It was currently time for lunch and he thought it would be great if he streamed while he ate.

He opened up Stars Live in his phone, the best streaming service there was and clicked the Stream button.

A few seconds passed and people were joining his stream.

Yejoon charmingly smiled and greeted his audience,

"Hello, all!"

These were the first comments he saw and he just smiled while reading the comments.

Out of nowhere, viewers started pouring in. He saw that in the top of the app, his stream was being highlighted and advertised for all. XXX probably paid Stars Live for that.

The viewer and followers count was dramatically increasing.

Yejoon expected this from being highlighted in the largest streaming service but the numbers still astounded him.

He greeted the viewers and finally put the phone in a spot where he could see the chat and his audience could see him.

"Welcome, welcome all. How is your day?"

A piñata sound came from the phone and a notification appeared.

"Pretty good thanks for asking. How about you? :P"

Each star ball was worth around a dollar and could be cashed in or used to buy things that enhanced his stream in the website. Star balls could also be used to buy small highlights in the app or even a spot in the Stars Convention that was hosted every year.

20 star balls were not a high amount for a highly regarded streamer but to one just starting, this was a very supportive amount.

It seemed this was one of the 'older sisters.'

Yejoon's eyes slightly widened.

"Thank you pretty-girl for the donation, I'm doing great thank you. I'm just waiting for my food to arrive." Yejoon said as he smiled at the camera.

His mom had woken up very late and she really did not feel like cooking. Yejoon merely nodded his head when she had told him so and ordered Chinese food online from his phone.

"I'm the top donator now! Ooh, is it going to be one of those legendary Mukbang streams?"

A mukbang was a stream where the host interacted with the audience while eating large amounts of food. The food was usually exotic or not something that you would eat on a daily basis like very spicy noodles.

Yejoon pondered about that. It would be a good idea to stream a mukbang; he decided he'd do it on a later stream.

'Older sisters' squealed as he made a thinking pose by placing his index finger on his cherry lips while looking up. They took a picture of it and made it their profile pictures and phone wallpaper and lock screen.

"Well, I'll just eat Chinese food and answer some questions."

Yejoon had not yet gotten any moderators and XXX had overlooked this fact.

"lolololololol this kid is ******* stupid!!!! ugly af and probably really dumb 2"

He read some hate and troll comments out loud and smiled.

"Thank you!"

The haters felt as if they had punched a cotton ball. Their insults did not work at all and their target of hate did not look as if he was affected in the slightest.

Seeing his smile some haters felt as if they had kicked a puppy and apologized.

Haters insulted and brought other people down. If you showed them a reaction they would've instantly gotten what they wanted. If you react calmly to their comments their attempts would have been futile. It was much better to guilt-trip these people and let them wallow in their own hassle.

Yejoon conversed with his fans and interacted with them. His fans instantly started loving him as he did not show any signs of arrogance and maintained humble and interactive with his fans. Some haters turned fans and his positivity was spread throughout the entire stream.

He answered questions and had received lots of donations with an even bigger amount of star balls.

He was also requested to dance the choreography he and Mingyu performed in the 'competition,' which was just a concert that was termed differently.

Suddenly he received a notification on his phone,

"From Mingyu,

im on my way 2 ur house"

He read the broken English and recited it to the chat.

"It seems Mingyu will join us." He lightly smiled and again 'older sisters' took an insane amount of pictures of his face.

He interacted with his audience and his food had arrived.

Mingyu arrived shortly after and the two cute handsome boys interacting with each other had 'older sisters' squealing and taking another wild amount of pictures.

"Wow, you actually got a phone! and it's even a new model."

"Hehe yeah."

"What's it doing there? That's Stars Live? You're streaming? What the– what's with that insane amount of viewers."

Mingyu's eyes were widened to incredible levels and his eyebrows arched emphasizing his confusion. *Click click click* Even more pictures.

Mingyu was soon integrated into the stream and both took turns talking with the audience.

They both answered questions about themselves and socialized with the viewers.

Yejoon now had an insane amount of followers and had thousands of people currently viewing his stream.

He had not leveled up any of his attributes. It was only a matter of growing up and keeping his body shape and his stats would naturally go up.

He had gained an AP point and 2 pages of 'Collection of Books' for blowing the audience out of their mind when he had gotten the quest before he started performing. The hidden quest he just completed also gave him SP and AP.

His singing and dancing had progressed tremendously from the extensive practicing, fixing of mistakes, being given tips, and more. Also, performing in front of a huge audience really made his confidence in singing and dancing rise so that also upped the stats slightly.

His choreography improved insanely due to wracking his brain thinking of the perfect moves and getting many ideas from the people that danced with Mingyu and him. His speech had also gotten way better as he had socialized a lot with people before the concert (I mentioned this in Chapter 10), being more confident of himself, and because he interacted a ton with his audience in Stars Live.
