The Rise Of Park Yejoon

As he entered the living room, his mother who was sitting on the couch ran over instantly, scooped him up and glomped him. She rubbed her cheek against his affectionately and basked him in her warmth.

This was one of the side effects of having 20 charm. It seemed his mother loved him very much but the extra charm made it so that she absolutely adored him.

She planted motherly kisses in his forehead and cheeks.

"Hi, mom."

She replied by calling him her sunshine.

The change seems too significant but the boost of 20 charm is powerful. It made his parents had the urge to appreciate, cherish, and pamper their child.

She sat him down in the couch while hugging him and asked him,

"What do you need baby?"

"I can't come to the living room just to see you?" His mom replied with even more kisses on the face.

"I actually came here to tell you XXX is planning on making a music video for my new song."

"Oh, congratulations!" She smiled at him proudly.

The company had informed him they wanted to make the video as soon as possible and be done with it quickly. Of course, they do not mean for such speed that the quality would drop but at a good pace.

He asked his mom if she could drive him to XXX tomorrow as it was a weekend day. His mother being the now doting parent she was said she only would if he kissed her cheek.

Yejoon was definitely not used to this familial love. His past life had been devoid of his parents for his later years. He did not forget how to love but he hadn't done it in quite a time.

He laid a tender kiss on her cheek with his cherry lips.

He did not know why but even though he had other parents, this felt completely natural. His past parents were not replaced, it was just that these new ones had gained a spot in his heart.

The day went by quickly and Yejoon woke up with an exciting start.

It was a little early in the morning, 7:20 AM, as they would be working for a full twelve hours.

He enthusiastically shouted "Good Morning!" to the birds who chirped happily in response and in his pajamas rushed to the bathroom to do his daily morning routine of splashing water on his face, washing it, brushing his teeth, and applying creams.

He hopped in the car with his mother and rode through the streets.

The city of New York was relatively similar to his past world's New York. The big tourist attractions remained unchanged. Yejoon had realized the entire world was basically the same.

The history remained unchanged with its renowned ancient civilizations like Egypt, Mesopotamia, Rome, Greece, China, and even more, present. Historical leaders, influencers and more were all the same.

Geographical locations remained equal to the past worlds and the divisions were but similar.

It turns out the only thing that changed in this world were comparatively recent entertainment forms. Things like recent songs, movies, poems, books, and many things were different but the old things were the same as they were before.

One of the huge changes in this world was XXX. This was a positive change though because many people could be doing whatever they wanted. It provided jobs for thousands of people and entertainment for even more.

A positive thing in this world was that people in this world realized the damages of contamination and overwhelming amounts of greenhouse gases sooner than ours did. Renewable energy sources were more common and used than fossil fuels.

These harmful methods to the atmosphere were actually illegal in some countries. Cars were electrical instead of petroleum based.

There were also fewer cars used owing to the fact that people somehow managed to convince others that bicycles were more beneficial than cars.

Air was not as contaminated and some animals that had previously died out were still alive.

Methane was not released as much because people had reduced the intake of unnecessary meat which meant less livestock.

Places were greener and it was commonplace to see a beautifully positive amount of lush greenery.

Plastics in the ocean were almost cleaned out as this world had done a great effort to have mercy on the animals dying from these poisons.

What a beautiful world this is.

A pity his last one is still in progress to fix their past mistakes and receiving the consequences of something that could have been prevented with the simple sincerity of many.

Yejoon and his mother arrived quickly to the XXX academy. They were received by an eager guard and were conducted to where they were supposed to be.

The boy greeted the crew he would work with and shook hands wearing a smile with the woman overseeing the entire process.

This woman was quite important due to the fact that she could decide to assist you with what fits the criteria or completely ignoring the process and leave you to your own resources which could heavily impact the essence of the video.

Yejoon's mothered kissed him good luck and sent him off.

The crew had already listened to the song and already decided how the video should be. Yejoon did not have much experience in this so he quietly listened to instructions to the best of his capabilities.

Earning skills in the amateur rank was actually quite easy. It only got harder in the mid Rookie section to gain points.

The crew was pretty satisfied at his speed of learning and his obedience. They loved his polite and respectful attitude and showed their gratefulness by trying even harder.

Musical videos were usually filmed in two long days of hard work and would take a few weeks for the editing to be done.

It was currently the lunch break. It was currently 1 PM. They had started five hours ago and after this break would keep filming until 8 PM.

They finished working and continued.

Yejoon finally achieved Rookie in acting.

Gaining the points for the newly acquired skill was quite easy with amazing and experienced people and the cheat system.

His speed of learning was quite very fast.

His acting suddenly smoothly transitioned into better performance than what he was just doing a few seconds ago.

The staff was shocked at how he just suddenly started to move so amazingly.

"Ah, I just started following what I had to do instead of overthinking it," was his excuse.

They continued the filming and the day was finished quickly.

He realized his mom had been watching him the entire time and she merely winked at him.
