34 – 9. The Witch’s Curse (7)

1.

Aurora drew her dagger.

Now, all that remained was to plunge the blade into the hearts of these unwelcome guests.

Eternal rest.

Those who heard Aurora’s lullaby and fell asleep could never open their eyes again.

Unaware that they had died in reality, they would forever live in their dreams.

Aurora approached Leuen.

She decided to kill Leuen first.

She raised the dagger high.

And then it happened.

“What are you doing?”

The voice from behind snapped Aurora’s eyes open like the unfolding of an aurora.

She turned around.

Evan was standing there.

Clearly, he had fallen under a spell.

She had even confirmed he was asleep.

Yet Evan was wide awake.

“A type of magic I’ve never seen before. Did you research it yourself?”

Aurora stared directly at Evan.

“How… how did this happen?”

Evan shrugged his shoulders.

“I never really fell asleep in the first place.”

“What?”

“I don’t know what kind of magic you used, but the moment I sensed illusionary and mind-manipulating spells, I simply separated my consciousness for a moment. That kind of magic infiltrates the consciousness to activate.”

Evan explained the method of magical evasion kindly.

Separation of consciousness.

In simple terms, it’s astral projection.

If it were a typical illusionary spell, Evan wouldn’t have needed to separate his consciousness. However, the illusionary magic this woman used was so sophisticated and subtle that it required the use of consciousness separation.

Admitting it or not, this woman was no ordinary sorceress.

“Anyway, your plan is over before it even started.”

Evan raised his mana.

“Choose. How do you want to be killed?”

He created different magic circles in each hand, offering options.

“Well… this is absurd.”

Aurora shook her head with a nervous excitement.

“You will come to regret this.”

A space opened behind Aurora.

Through the opened space, another world was in motion.

“Dying in a dream would have been easier.”

Evan began to get excited.

The immense aura of mana.

If one could wield magic to the extent of their own research, Evan thought he might not be just an ordinary magician. Yet, he had no idea that he could wield magic equivalent to the 10th tier.

The space behind Aurora.

Multiple magic circles overlapped, intricately entwined.

It was a headache-inducing magic that hadn’t been encountered in a long time.

“Learn. I will teach you the cruelty of reality.”

Bundle of Dreams.

“My dreams become reality.”

From the dimension behind Aurora, magic arrows poured out like a torrent of fish.

Although numbering in the hundreds, these magic arrows were of the fundamental 2nd tier magic.

Dealing with such things without looking was possible.

“This…!”

Evan created magic arrows just like them and skillfully shot down each arrow that flew towards him.

He tried to use spell destruction but couldn’t.

That wasn’t magic.

No, it was magic, but it wasn’t composed of mana.

Extinction.

The magic arrows disappeared.

It seemed that those things should be considered as tools rather than magic.

So, spell destruction wouldn’t work.

“This…!”

This time, the gigantic head of a dragon emerged from beyond the dimension.

The dragon’s neck swelled.

“Kwaaah!!”

With a roar, it unleashed its breath.

Blue flames surged towards Evan as if to devour him.

Wind Barrier.

Instantly, a powerful updraft was generated, diverting the direction of the breath upwards.

-Kwaang!!

The dragon’s breath collided with the ceiling.

– Thud! Thud!

Fragments of the collapsed ceiling fell to the ground.

The wizard chose a single school of magic to specialize in.

No matter how many you learn, three is the limit.

Rather than learning several, mastering one deeply can elevate a wizard to a higher echelon.

However, there exists an all-rounder wizard who uses every magical school.

It’s a realm of talent, not effort.

Of course, there are those who claim to be all-rounders by learning multiple low-level magics, but no one has used advanced magic across various schools until now.

The sage, Arahan, is a wizard who employs five magical schools.

But his disciple, Evan, is a wizard who uses every single school.

Truly every school.

Because Evan has absorbed all the magical books in the sage’s tower, he can wield any magic, be it fire or water, without discrimination.

Of course, there’s a distinction between being good at some and not so good at others, but the ability to use them is astonishing in itself.

There’s another all-rounder in this gathering.

The dream witch, Aurora.

Unlike Evan, she can’t actually use every magic, but her ‘dream pouch,’ researched by Aurora, makes it possible.

The dream pouch contains all the dreams she’s had while sleeping.

Among them are stored the magics she used in her dreams, which she can utilize when needed. With just that, she can use almost all magics without mana consumption and regardless of hierarchy.

The only limitation is that she can’t use what she hasn’t dreamed of.

However, Aurora’s dream pouch, which has been dreaming for hundreds of years, contains magics that could last a lifetime even with continuous use.

In a battle of attrition, Aurora is overwhelmingly advantageous.

While the opponent’s mana is depleted with every use of magic, Aurora can use thousands of magics solely with the mana from opening her dream pouch.

Finally, it feels like encountering a proper adversary.

2.

Lewen was taken aback.

“Really amazing. It was cool.”

Evan, who was smiling kindly, patted Lewen’s head.

A gentle touch.

Warm body temperature.

She was overcome with emotion.

The longed-for wish had come true.

This moment had been missed.

She had thought it a fleeting dream.

Believed it a moment that would never return.

But no.

Evan was gently stroking her head.

Ruewen’s tears flowed silently.

Happiness overflowed.

“Why are you crying?”

Evan spread his arms wide.

“Wha…?”

Ruewen hesitated, looking at Evan. And then, as if encouraging her to do what she wanted, Evan nodded.

Fearful Evan might change his mind, Ruewen quickly embraced him, after eight long years. Evan’s body felt larger.

Completely enveloped.

Wrapped in Evan’s warmth.

“Now, I’ll forgive you.”

At that whispered word in her ear, her heart swelled again.

“…R-really?”

Evan patted Ruewen’s back.

“Yeah, really. It’s an insane kind of affection. I can’t forget you either.”

Ruewen buried her face in Evan’s chest, sobbing.

Was this a dream?

I hope it’s not a dream.

Hoping it was reality, Ruewen pulled Evan’s neck closer and kissed him.

Their lips met.

Evan nibbled softly on Ruewen’s lower lip, exchanging saliva. As if determined to do what they hadn’t done until now, they sucked on each other’s tongues in a deep, passionate kiss.

“Ah…!”

Evan’s large hand gripped Ruewen’s plump buttocks.

“Wait a moment…!”

Leuwen halted Evan.

“Why? Don’t you like it?”

Leuwen quickly tilted her head.

“Alright. If it’s Evan, you can do as you please. But… since this is a dungeon, let’s focus on clearing the dungeon first. After that… um… you can do whatever you want in Evan’s room.”

Evan grinned and whispered into Leuwen’s ear.

“Got it. When we go back, I’ll handle it a bit rougher.”

Leuwen’s face turned a deep shade of red.

“Uh… yeah…!”

Embarrassed but honestly admitting she wanted to be treated a bit roughly by Evan, Leuwen nodded.

The two of them systematically progressed through the dungeon.

In the final room, a gigantic monster awaited them.

It was a demon still in the process of resurrection.

Evan and Leuwen joined forces to defeat the demon.

Evan bound the demon’s arms, and in the opening, Leuwen swung her sword, beheading the demon.

“Hah… hoo… we did it!”

Barely overcoming the demon, they celebrated with immense joy.

Leuwen immediately embraced Evan.

Once again, Evan gently stroked Leuwen’s head.

And naturally, his hands wandered to her hips.

“Eep…!”

“Shall we return to the village?”

“Uh, yeah…!”

As soon as they returned to the village, finishing the report quickly, Leuwen turned towards Evan.

“Uh-uh… ah-ah-ah….”

She stood in front of Evan’s room, tapping her foot.

She wore a pretty dress.

Her underwear was also carefully chosen.

Before coming here, she showered at home and came here all fresh.

A sweet fragrance emanated from her body.

The heart flutters.

– Knock, knock.

He knocked and entered Evan’s room.

“Here?”

Evan embraced Leven and grinned.

“Nice scent.”

Evan brought his nose to Leven’s neck, savoring the fragrance.

“Don’t smell it.”

Blushing, Leven shook his head.

“Let me smell more. Or should I do it here?”

Evan slipped his knee between Leven’s legs, gently teasing sensitive areas.

“Are we doing this right away…?”

“You can do as you please.”

“Um, okay…”

“Then undress. Use it right away.”

“U-use?”

“I thought you liked such words. No?”

“A little… It feels a little good…”

Blushing to the point of bursting, Leven undressed but couldn’t bring himself to remove his underwear.

Evan admired Leven’s body reflected in the moonlight.

“Wow… Beautiful.”

That compliment made Leven’s lips curl with pleasure.

“Your skin is clean, and you’re so beautiful.”

“Oh, no… It’s not that…”

“Truly beautiful.”

Breasts that make you want to squeeze them tight.

Thighs with elasticity and thickness.

And a pretty peach-like buttocks that are well-developed.

Everything is lovely.

Leven bit his lower lip, rolling his eyes in embarrassment.

While contemplating, she saw herself reflected in the mirror.

“…………Ah.”

And she realized.

Happiness vanished instantly, replaced by a hollow despair that filled the void.

“…..Well, I suppose so.”

Leowen’s tears began to flow uncontrollably.

“Why? Why are you crying?”

Evan suddenly tried to console the weeping Leowen.

-Tack.

Leowen pushed Evan away.

“This is just a dream, right?”

Leowen, reflected in the mirror.

Her skin was unbelievably flawless.

Not a single scar.
