Chapter 29 - The Dark God Attacks!

Looking at the black, bipedal rabbit, in front of him, he couldn't help but feel alarmed. He quickly used Identify to see its level.

'The heck?! This Rabbit is 'that' strong?! What the hell is wrong with this world?!' Hiroto lamented. He didn't know who is controlling this rabbit right now but that name is so dangerous sounding.

'Vorpal? Seriously?--' but before he can think of anything again, he noticed that the rabbit bolted into him with a speed that is 10 times faster than him. It disappeared for a moment and appeared right in front of him.

The rabbit put out its dagger in front of it and tried to slash Hiroto in his neck. Hiroto blocked the strike and was taken aback by the strength behind it. When he blocked the strike, sizzling sounds came from the sword and dagger's clashing point. Although it wasn't stronger than him, it was at least twice as strong as Saeko's strength.

‹Hiroto! There was an Emergency Quest that was triggered just now! It looks like a low level Evil God has found some traces of you here and ordered this rabbit to search for you! If you don't wake up this rabbit from its mind controlled state, you will be swarmed by enemies from all sides later on!› Ariel said in a panic. She didn't know that they would be detected this fast.

Listening to Ariel's words he was helpless. There was a handicap placed on him and he have to battle this rabbit who have an absurd speed.

While he was lamenting at his fate, he was again, struck by the rabbit with strikes clearly aiming at his vital spots. It first jumped up and tried to stab his left eyes, but it was quickly swatted away by Hiroto, he is barely keeping up with the speed of this bunny.

The bunny then continuously sent stabs and slashes at very tricky angles. Being the little rabbit that it is, it kept on hopping and bouncing around him while Hiroto dodges and defends his vitals from getting hacked.

'Show me the quest I triggered Ariel-chan!' Hiroto said. He wanted to know who made this rabbit become like this.

Emergency Quest Triggered: Wake the Rabbit from her Dream!

Description: An unknown Evil God has bestowed its power to a horned rabbit. The rabbit is now under the Evil God power's control, making it feel a lot of rage. Wake her up from her mind control and release her from the shackles of the Evil God's power.

When he was done checking the Quest, the rabbit was nowhere to be found. Looking around, Hiroto couldn't find it.

The rabbit suddenly appeared right on his back. He doesn't know how it did that bit he was sure that it has to do something with concealment techniques. While he was thinking about this, the rabbit suddenly spun mid-air and sent a kick at his left ribs.

Then it jumped in a transparent barrier hovering mid-air and followed after Hiroto. It then glowed in a green light and slashed at him 12 times in one second. Due to his high intelligence, Hiroto could see its movements and block the vital attacks.

Not wanting to fight a losing battle, Hiroto concentrated and analyzed the pattern on the rabbit's movement.

'Hey Ariel-chan, do you know what skills is this Volpal Rabbit using?' he asked.

'|Flash Steps|? Is it a movement type of skill? How does it work?' Hiroto asked. He doesn't have a decent movement skill so he wanted to know if it's worth his points.

‹You just have to put some strength in your legs to gain a burst in speed. That's why the rabbit seemed like it disappeared for a moment,› Ariel explained

'Hee, so there was a technique like that. I need to learn how to control my strength, this will eventually cause my doom if I don't practice,' Hiroto said while putting on some strength in his legs. Then with all the power he can muster, he made powerful step forward which made him bolt right to the Vorpal rabbit in an instant.

'Neat, now let's do this,' saying this he activated |Stealth Steps|, |Concealment|, and |Flash Steps| simultaneously. When he did, he seems to have disappeared and appeared in front of the rabbit in an instant, not having any time to react. Hiroto took this chance and slashed at it, but was blocked by the previously unmoving rabbit.

Their battle is still ongoing even after 10 minutes. What puzzled him, was the daggers on the Vorpal rabbit's hands. It wasn't cut by his Serveresta even after clashing for 10 minutes. When he asked Ariel about this, he heard that it was a Legendary Tier dagger called Tyrving.

When he learned this information, he decided not to cut it*. It might be one of the weapons that Eris was looking for in the series. Getting frustrated that he can't do anything, he said,

(A/N: Serveresta can cut the sword but he didn't pour more mana in it since the rabbit might be in danger and get killed.)

"I swear, I'm gonna kill you, you Evil God. For making me go through all this, I'm gonna return it in kind and hack you to pieces," Hiroto's fuse finally blew. For 10 minutes, he got sliced and stabbed at different parts of his body. Although it was closing at a visible rate, another one would be added after one healed. He wondered why this rabbit is so angry and furious.

'This probably have something to do with the Evil God's power. Anger… fury… wrath? It's Wrath! The only wrath I can think of is that of the deadly sins. There is a God of Sloth here that was mentioned in the anime. Meaning, there's definitely a God of Wrath,' Hiroto thought. After he unveiled the identify of the culprit, he couldn't help but smile.

"You will see you Evil God, God of Wrath. You brought this upon yourself," Hiroto said as a cold glint flashed in his eyes. He was kind to those people that are kind to him, but he was not a pushover. It was never showed in his first world because he never got into fights but right now, this trait of his finally surfaced.

The God of Wrath didn't know that he was now placed at the kill list of Hiroto, along with Zeoticus.

While Hiroto was battling with the Vorpal Rabbit, Saeko who was waiting for him under the shade of a tree heard the sizzling sounds coming from the direction where Hiroto went.

She quickly got up and ran towards the direction where the clashing sounds are coming from.

When she arrived there, she saw Hiroto's body full of cuts and stabs. She wanted to shout but stopped when she saw that the rabbit was so fast.

'If I shout now and gather the rage of that monster, Hiro won't be able to make it in time to save me! Why do I feel so useless!' Saeko thought.

Then she saw them clash. The black rabbit tried to strike Hiroto's stomach but was blocked by him. Although he managed to block it, he was sent flying towards the forest trees.

He immediately controlled his body midair and maneuvered himself to soften his fall. Hiroto landed on a tree branch, which he stood up quite easily without losing balance.

The rabbit started to chase after him and they started hopping from tree to tree while sometimes cutting a whole tree to trap one another. A few minutes later, the rabbit started squealing.

After seeing this battle, she steeled herself to get strong. Strong enough to stand by Hiroto's side.

While Hiroto was facing off with the rabbit, he wracked his brain for ideas on what he should do to. After a few seconds, the solution he came up with is to make this rabbit faint and think of something to remove that God of Wrath's power in the rabbit's body. While Hiroto was thinking of this, the rabbit suddenly started squealing.

"Squeeeeekk!!!" shouted the rabbit. It gripped its c.h.e.s.t with its cute front limbs while squealing in agony.

‹The rabbit is in agony Hiro. If your bloodline was much more awakened, you could have removed the power of the Evil God inside it. Unfortunately, you never learned any purification spell or any magic right now. You definitely have to learn magic Hiro,› advised Ariel. She can't do much in this situation. Hiroto haven't checked out the whole village.

'I will take a tour around the town after this. I need to learn more about this town. Wait, I can use that All Map Exploration later. It can help me filter the strength of the people of this town and some locations. This wouldn't happen if I knew in advance that there was an enemy,' Hiroto thought.

"Let's first make this rabbit faint," Hiroto said while looking at the rabbit who is still squealing. He activated Concealment and started to circle around the rabbit as fast as he could. He needs to make it faint as soon as possible. Or else, Saeko and Axel Town's inhabitants will be in big trouble. This was caused by him so he have a responsibility in cleaning this mess.

After 3 seconds, he arrived at the back of the rabbit and quickly struck it on the neck with the back of Serveresta's blade. With the circulation of the blood being cut off for a moment, its brain lost its function for a moment and the rabbit fainted.

When the rabbit fainted, a notification sound suddenly rang in his head, surprising him.

‹Yes, this Gacha have a lot of categories where you can spin and win a prize. The categories are; Items, Equipments, Weapons, Potions, Skills, Spells, Abilities and Summoning.

Items are those miscellaneous things and those that are not classified as equipments are.

Accessories and etc are included there. Equipments are where you can get armors, boots, belts and etc. Which can be equipped in the Equipment Section in the Inventory.

Potions, there are healing potions, mana potions, stamina potions, skill points potions, exp potions, bloodline enhancing potions and etc.

Skills, you can get useful skills like cooking or swordsmanship and useless skills like tea brewing.

Magic, you can get powerful spells like teleportation or a simple spell like tinder.

Abilities, it is like some kind of talent that sometimes get posted on the Title column.

Then there's Summoning. It's quite focused on the 'anime character' thing. Meaning, the characters you find in the animes and their novels and mangas of your past world.

Although, there is a catch. It's quite expensive and risky. You don't know if the one you summoned will be a good or bad person. To avoid a situation where you might get attacked, we decided that you can return them to their previous world, with their memories erased, 30 seconds after you summoned them if you didn't want/like them.

There is 3 Gachas where you can spin, that is Free Gacha, Premium Gacha, and Super Gacha. According to the identification of the gacha ball, you can pull a H-EX rank.

H-A for Free Gacha, you get a free spin everyday and it can be stacked.

B-SSS for Premium Gacha, you get a free spin every month.

And A-EX for Super Gacha, you can get a free spin once a year. You can use a Gacha Point to lessen the time of their cooldown too!

Listening at her long explanation, Hiroto understood that this is like a lottery where a lot of luck will be needed.
