The Saint's Trial: Can He Resist Their Charm!?

"You will never be able to see him again if he decided not to come back here again."

"You are arrogant self-centered brats who didn't even visit him and asked how he was doing."

"You could have been the first wife if you weren't so childish."

These words kept ringing on Sona's and Rias' heads. At first, they wanted to refute him but found out that there is no words that is coming out of their mouths. It is because they knew that it was the truth.

Rias is a spoiled child. She got spoiled because of the pampering she receives from her brother Sirzerchs Lucifer. Being born as a High-class devil, she, of course, is prideful. She have this princess-like demeanor that treats others coldly. She thought that they are below her and it's a bother to talk to them.

This, however, changed when she met a certain boy younger than her.

It was a normal day for her, but that changed when her dear brother told her that there will be a visitor. She was quite annoyed by this. She became even more annoyed when her dear brother told her to befriend the visitor.

"No Onii-sama! I don't want friends!" said Rias. She doesn't want to meet a commoner.

But despite her pleadings, she as rejected by her onii-sama, saying that the visitor is quite a good boy.

When the time came for the visit, she was dragged outside by her mother. For some unknown reason, her mother was quite excited at meeting this visitor. She was even humming when she was personally cooking their meal. It was quite a shocking sight to behold for the 4 years old Rias.

"Look, there they are!" said Sirzerchs. He was quite excited to introduce this bubbly boy to Rias. In truth, he is quite sorry for this younger sister of his. He should be one taking the burden to be the head of the household after his father, but that changed when he was given the responsibility to rule over the whole Devildom. All he could do was spoil his sister, but that back fired, it seems. His seems that he spoil her rotten that she views herself as above everyone else. He just hope that the boy can change this.

After the boy came down the dragon's head, Rias was quite surprised that the first thing that came out of his mouth was a question. Tilting his head to the side cutely he asked,

"What is that haiw on youw chin Oji-san? Isn't it uncomfowtable?" asked the silver and sakura-haired boy. He is cute looking because of the baby fat on his face. He have blue eyes like hers and a beauty mark under his left eye. She was surprised by the fact that this boy was so handsome. She even thought that the word 'handsome' would be an understatement. It looks like all the women present have the same thoughts as they were looking at Hiroto and secretly comparing them to Zeoticus and Sirzechs. Poor guys didn't know that their 'handsomeness' points has taken a huge minus because of the little boy in front of them.

While the women was deep in thought, Zeoticus have a visible tick mark on his forehead. He is not fond of this boy for some unknown reason. Although he was the current head of the Gremory Household, the others can't wait to dethrone him. It was a pity that Sirzechs has to become the Maou Lucifer, or else he would have been replaced early on. All he does is search for girls to seduce and bed them whenever possible. He never touched his wife, Venelena, after their last time where she conceived Rias. He was never a strong Devil and was lucky that he was born as a High-class Devil.

Now that this boy is in front of him, he have the feeling that this boy would be his bane. He tried to smile and looked at the boy in front of him.

"Oh, this? It isn't uncomfortable to have little boy. This is called a beard and I think you will have one too when you grow up," said Zeoticus while faking a smile.

"Huh?" the boy looked at Tannin, who now turned into his mini dragon form and asked, "Weally Papa? I'll have a hair on my chin when I gwow up? But… but… it's looks so uncomfowtable to have and… ugly," said Hiroto while looking at Zeoticus. It is unknown whether the boy did it on purpose, but this annoyed him to no end.

Venelena, on the other hand, couldn't hold herself back anymore and hugged the boy. She was holding herself back a lot after she saw his cute chubby face and his handsome features. But she couldn't hold back anymore when she heard the verbal tick in his words.

'My gosh! He can't pronounce the letter properly! Isn't that cute?!' Venelena thought and immediately pounced at the boy.

"You are such a cute child! What is your name?" asked Venelena gently.

"Oh!" seemingly remembering something important, the boy's eyes grew wide and his mouth formed an 'O' shape.

"I'm sowwy, I fowgot to intwoduce myself! My name is Hiwoto! Awiyoshi Hiwoto! Nice to meet you onee-chan!" said the boy, now named Hiroto, energeticcally.

Seeing the bubbly personality of the boy, Venelena hugged in even more. She was struck by his cuteness. But this moment of hers was quickly dampened when she felt a tug on her back. When she turned around, she saw a crimson-haired girl pouting and had a 'menacing' look on her face.

"Mom! Stop hugging him!" said Rias. When Hiroto saw her, he seemed to have received an enlightenment and greeted the Rias.

"You must be the onee-chan that will be my fwiend! Maou told me about you yestewday!" said Hiroto. But he was ignored by Rias.

"Hmph, I don't even know you! Don't talk to me!" said Rias.

"Oh! Is that so?" said Hiroto. He thought that he already introduced himself earlier.

"Then let me intwoduce myself again! My name is Awiyoshi Hiwoto! Nice to meet you!" said Hiroto. Rias became more annoyed at this, she heard him introduce himself again.

"I don't care! Hmph!" Rias said.

After that first meeting, she was reprimanded by her mother for acting the way she did. A few days later, she would keep on meeting Hiroto everyday, trying to be her friend.

He would keep on following her and talking to her. It's quite annoying for her at first, but then it changed day after day. Her heart soften to him and eventually, she accepted him as her friend.

She took care of him and even started to let him sleep with her at her room every night. What she likes the most was when Hiroto praises her for wearing a beautiful dress. After that, she started to dress up herself more nicely. She didn't know it herself but she started to be more happy and bubbly around Hiroto.

Then they met a girl her age with the same circ.u.mstances as her. Because of this, she quickly became friends with her and they talk with each other about their troubles.

Nobody knew when it started but, they started to depend more on Hiroto. Although he was honest and bubbly, she thought that he was sometimes like an a.d.u.l.t.

When she got jealous at Sona and kissed him at the spur of the moment, she got adicted by that feeling and looked for more.

It was all so good until she pushed him away. She got annoyed that he keep on telling her to practice when she obviously hated the idea of it. She decided that she will ignore him from that day on.

What truly shocked her was, after that event. Her father decided to engage her to the son of the Phoenix Household.

She was devastated, she wanted to go to Hiroto but remembered his pestering and decided against it. She just kept on weeping on her room and didn't meet anyone.

But then, a day that left her deep in shock was the news that Hiroto was gone. He was shocked at the revelation that Rias got engaged with someone and had a heart attack. He was in comma for three months without her visiting him even once.

Remembering these memories, she couldn't help but cry her heart out.

The God who reprimanded her was right. She was a selfish girl. She never thought of what Hiroto felt. She just focused on how she felt and not his feelings. But even with her attitude, Hiroto still took care of her patiently without saying a word of complain.

"Hirooo… I-I'm sorryyyy. I've been a bad girl, Rias is a bad girl. Please come back here! I will be a good girl and look after you from now on! I will train and study! I will do my best to make you proud! That's why… that's why… please come back," Rias said weakly while crying.

From that day onwards, Rias turned into a new leaf. She started to train and study intensely. She changed her attitude completely and became a quite approachable person. She would greet and acknowledge them, but she wouldn't talk with boys for long. Just a few sentences and she would end the conversation there.

Unlike her friend, Sona. She still accepted a boy as her peerage member. If he could be considered a boy, that is.
