Senja returned to Black Sword Clan mansion, this glorious and huge place was a nightmare for her.

Her Stepmother, Carye, welcomed her with tears on her eyes but when she hugged Senja, she almost squeezed the little girl to her death. The injuries on Senja's body weren't healed yet, with the tight hugged that Carye gave, of course, it hurt her. But, Senja didn't say a word about it.

The two daughter of Carye from her previous marriage, Hikari and Rindi were there as well, they didn't give any pretentious act and only make a small talk with her. It was because Elder Dam didn't like the two of them got close to Senja.

Put it simple, because her daughters didn't have his bloodline, Elder Dam didn't like Carye and her two daughters.

Senja was the apple in Elder Dam's eyes. He was the only granddaughter that was recognized by him.

Upon hearing Elder Dam's voice Senja cried louder that make the old man panic. "What happened? Do you feel pain somewhere?" He stroke Senja's back to appease his granddaughter, but Senja cried so hard.

"Can't you stay with me?" She pitifully begged Elder Dam to stay, desperately tried to tell him what she had gone through.

"I am sorry, my child." Elder Dam regretfully replied.

"Please grandfather…" Tears falling down like a rain on Elder Dam front robe. His heart tighten when he heard his granddaughter pleading for him to stay.

Senja was struggling inside, whether to tell her grandfather how all of them had treated her all this time, how her own father had treated her and how her own father almost stabbed her to death or remained silent.

However, every time she wanted to open her mouth the words were stuck on her throat. She couldn't let it pass her lips, the image of her father choked her and his threatening words were ringing in her ears.

Senja was only 9 years old little girl. All the things that Wang Yu had done traumatized her. She couldn't gather the courage when the pain from the injuries that Wang Yu gave to her still throbbing painfully. It constantly reminded her to shut her mouth.

Her grandfather didn't make things better. He would leave her. The moment they were just comeback, he would leave her alone to be bullied by them.

Elder Dam thought that he had gave the best protection that he could give to Senja by leaving her in his own territory.

His way of thought was completely wrong.

If he was sensible enough to senses there was something wrong with Senja's behavior, maybe the little girl would open up to him and tell him the story that he would never imagine.

If he wasn't too arrogant to thinking that he had gave Senja the best and tried to take a closer look instead, maybe he would realize something was wrong with his granddaughter and Senja could tell him the truth.

But, no. Elder Dam didn't do any of that and let Senja suffered alone. Senja didn't get the courage that she needed to let the story escaped from her lips. Her fear froze her tongue.

"Grandfather, can't you please stay?" Senja was pleading again.

"Grandfather is very regretful that I can't stay, my child." One more time Elder Dam rejected his granddaughter pleading. "Grandfather will return soon, okay?"

In his mind was only a raging flame to take down Xinghe Kingdom and burnt Ye Xiu to his death. He was so dare to touch his granddaughter and hurt her. A war was a price that he had to pay.

Without Elder Dam knowing, that was the last plead that Senja uttered to him.

She had plea to her father to stop hurting her, but he didn't listen and kicked her harder.

The last time, she had plea for her grandfather to stay, but he left her anyway.

Senja gradually stopped sobbing and rubbed her teary eyes. Her face turned cold like a hopeless child as she said. "Okay."

The little girl sat on the edge of her bed with head low like someone who was waiting for her final verdict.
