The System Of Somatosensation

After a week of another relaxingI made a full recovery. Since I wanted to get better in fighting, I trained despite the scoldings my mother gave me. Apparently, she is against practicing combat since she is afraid I would also meet the same fate my father met, although I have no idea what he really did that cost him his life.

In the end, my mother's scoldings did not even stop me from training and with the help of Ms. Viana, Sister Yukii's teacher, I managed to properly practice the form in my dagger stance. Before I knew it, I saw the notification of my skill to reach mastery in no time.

"[Dagger Mastery] has leveled up to level 10. Skill has been transferred to Passive skill."

Well, finally, [Dagger Mastery] now moved to the passive abilities which is good for me since I can now add another skill in place of the [Dagger Mastery]. I know I am weak and my body is not yet ready for this world. Even the weakest person in this world has a mastery of something that can either help them survive or can eliminate a threat.

After the intense training, it's time for me to know where I am. Due to my severe focus on training, I did not bother where the heck I am. Maybe I should take a tour or something for today I guess?

I search around the mansion for mother and saw her currently admiring the flowers on Ms. Viana's garden. Mom really has a green thumb as she is very attached to plants. I am not into plants but they can be useful too in this world. I need to get the possibility of getting a skill concerning plants sooner or later.

"Mom."

Mother stopped admiring the plants and turns around to face me. Unlike the last time I have seen Mother who looked stressed all the time, she looked less haggard and the color of her skin is already back. After the event of the noble guy and dissolving our debt, the burden on my mother's shoulders are quickly lifted.

"Tetsuo? Are you done with your practice?"

"Yeah, you are not angry?"

"Sigh, I am tired of scolding you since I know you won't follow it. So, why did you call me?"

"I wanted to go around the place. I have no idea where we are since I got into a coma. I want to learn the surroundings by myself."

Mom did not respond but she nodded after a few seconds of silence.

"Alright, I will allow it. But don't wander around too much. It would be bad if you get lost. Go home once you like it but don't get too late. I will scold you if you return home after the sun sets into the horizon. Understood?"

I nodded and wave goodbye to my mother. Ever since I got reincarnated here, I have never managed to take a tour at all. This would be the first time I would be getting my tour here. Of course, I know that it would never be a full tour because I have no tour guide and a tour bus. Still, this would be fun because creatures from this world not present on Earth is here and most races who are only available in novels are also seen here walking freely in streets. Still, I am not here for sightseeing but for familiarizing the place.

The dagger in my side is attached firmly for me to be able to pull out the weapon as soon as I was in trouble with the residents here. I won't touch anyone around here too to avoid too much info entering my mind unless I have something in interest with that thing.

As soon as I left the mansion, I saw the old buildings similar to the medieval eras. It was a very fantasy-like place that many otakus wanted to transmigrate on. I just wanted to get back the feeling of touch again. Who would have thought I would be transported here. Luckily, I am not a hero summoned or some sort of sacrifice or anything. I really hate that kind of outcome. This normal life is much better.

I scanned the surroundings while walking. While I admire the old fashion way styles in this place, it's a bit old fashioned and not in my taste. I am not a fantasy savvy guy who loves the location of places like this. There are no cars and only carriages pulled by horses. I doubt I will see cars soon. After walking a few more steps, I arrived at the entrance of this place. I usually see signage for newcomers in this place and since I missed it since I am in a coma, why not check it now?

The signage is made of stone and seems to be carved in stone. There are also seven statues of people on a formation that seems to be an impenetrable fortress looking formation but also a deadly one.

"WELCOME TO SEYRIN KINGDOM, THE PLACE WHERE THE SEVEN HEROES A.S.SEMBLED!"

Seyrin Kingdom? And the Seven Heroes? That was a bit cliche if you ask me though. The statues were two humans, an elf, a catgirl, a werewolf, a dwarf, and a siren. I am studying the statues when someone started speaking behind me.

"Are you someone new here? Or are you just idolizing the heroes' statues?" a male voice suddenly started speaking behind me.

"Huh?" I turn around and saw a kid who is a bit taller and leaner than me with a shortsword and a shield on his back which are all made in wood. He wears a leather vest and brown pants. His goggle is placed above his forehead. He was like an adventurer if not for his wooden weapons.

"Hmmm, from the looks of your face, I don't actually recognize you. That means you are a foreign guy," and after that, his gaze falls into my dagger's sheath that I firmly attached to my waist.

"I am indeed new here. I am just walking around the place. And I am not idolizing with those statues, I am not interested with them, I am just checking the sign."
