"So, can you tell why it is that you want to fight them. As far as I can tell you're currently in possession of the shikon jewel shard that was on Kagome. It's more likely that you're going to die trying to tie up loose ends if you keep on pursuing Inuyasha. He's the direct descendant of a high ranking yokai while you're a tsukumogami that has barely held conciousness for more than fifty years as far as I can tell. Without being able to use the villagers as leverage I'm 100% sure you're going to die even if he's only a half-demon." I said to the to the stoic faced yokai lady on my side.

"You really are insane aren't you. Before I realized that something like you was near them I was certainly planning on tying up loose ends after getting my hands on the shard. Now, I'm just trying to avoid pissing you off so that you don't decide against this little game of yours and end up killing me." She answered back without looking at me.

"You're quite honest aren't you." I say to her with a cheeky smile plastered on my face.

"Hump!" was the only response that I was able to get out of this she-yokai.

"For your information I was only trying to set this whole entire fight up because I thought that it was the most convenient way to resolve the issue without adding further drama. If you're willing to come to an understanding with us I might be kind enough to offer you another alternative."

Seeing the look she got at those words I decide to stop for a moment and set her down on the ground.

"Girl, why is it that you want to come into possession of the shikon jewel. I understand that the promise of power that it brings might be tempting but do you really want to risk everything for a mere shard. I know that rumors of the resurfacing of the shikon jewel and it's current state are being spread among the yokai communities along side the fact that it's being guarded by the reincarnated miko and Inuyasha. For a yokai such as you coming into possession of a shard would be downright detrimental. It's not really worth it, is it?"

"It's not really worth it!?! What the hell would a ayakashi like you know about it being worth it or not! Don't think that because I'm weak I can't detect the strong aura emanating from your very blood. For us weak yokai who live at the bottom of the barrel and are forced to submit to those above us... gaining power is the only alternative we have if we don't want to be at the whim of the strong." She shouted at me with an angry look in her face.

'Wow, it's kinda surprising that she's opening up like this from some minor prying. I think she's being affected by the natural aura of my fear. She's probably also being subtly influenced by the hogyoku or I'm underestimating the power of the charm I hold. Whatever it is it's great help as with this I can start to indoctrina-... guiding her to my way of thinking much easier.' I thought surprised at her sudden outburst.

"That's the very same reason why I'm saying that it's not really worth it. The power you gain using the shikon jewel will always be just that. Power gained through the use of an item like that will always belong to the item itself. It can be stripped from you at any moment if you're not careful BUT as I said I can offer you an alternative."

"What alternative are you talking about." She asks with something that to my surprise seems like genuine inquisitiveness.

"I can offer you power beyond your wildest dreams. Not something that can be easily be taken from you but true power belonging to you and only you."

"Oh, and what is it that you as in return for this great power. Is it my soul, my mind or perhaps is it... my body." She says with the coquettish attitude that she was supposed to display in the original timeline.

*sigh*

'She's probably looking down on me if she thinks she can get an answer out of me with basic seduction.'

"I want a family. I want you to be a part of my family in this land and join my hyakki yakou and serve by my side until the moment I perish." I say with intentional ambiguity as I get close to her.

At my words the little she-yokai seems to turn crimson red.

"W-Wh-... WHAT ARE YOU EVEN ASKING OF ME YOU PERVERTED YOKAI!" She screamed at me trying to avoid looking at me straight in the eyes.

'Cute, it seems she's the type that can dish it out but not take it. She's going to be a fun one to tease from now on. Is it me or am I slightly turning into a sadist since I got here... nah.'

"I'm not asking anything l.e.w.d of you. I just asked you if you wanted to join my night parade of one hundred demons. You're the one that went red in the face and started screaming. If anything I should be wary that you lose control of yourself and try to claim my precious purity." I say and I shyly look away as i cover my c.h.e.s.t and erogenous area with my arms faking a blush.

"I AM THE LADY IN THIS SITUATION IF ANYONE SHOULD PROTECT HER PURITY IT'S ME!" She gets a tick mark on her head and rushes towards.

"HAHAHAHAHA..." I madly laugh as I begin running away from her.

(scene break)

After a good amount of running away I sense Kaede's presence and change direction towards her location.

I quickly reach the general area where I felt her presence and begin to examine my surroundings. After a couple of seconds of searching around I noticed a part of the ground that looked like something dug something up with a pile of leaves in the center and quickly approach it.

'So this is were Inuyasha hid her. She's probably not going to be in a good mood when she sees me.' I thought to myself as I move towards the pile of leaves.

I move away the pile of leaves and find Kaede looking straight back at me.

"Yo, fancy meeting you here Kaede. Are you checking out the fertility of the land or something."

"Where have you been? I thought you said that you were going to help the villagers with sword of yours yet when the conflict started you disappeared."

"Well, my disappearance directly correlates to what was happening to the villagers. When that whole ordeal started I detected the presence of a yokai nearby that wasn't there previously before. I headed towards the presence and I found the culprit of this whole entire incident."

"Who was-"

Almost as if on cue predicting Kaede's next word a shout is heard at a near distance.

"WAIT RIGHT THERE YOU PERVERTED YOKAI!"

And with that Yura landed next to me hands tightened into fists coming straight at my head.

I instantly grabbed her hand and threw her over my shoulders in a basic judo flip. When she landed on the ground I put my foot down on her back and make a victory pose.

"The girl currently squirming and grumbling beneath my foot is the culprit of today's incident. After I found her I quickly severed all of the strings tied to the villagers in her hands and proceeded to apprehend her, ma'am."

"..." She stayed silent as she dumbfoundedly looked at the scene in front of her.

"Ok, but why is she chasing you and calling you a pervert. As a miko or more importantly as a woman I won't be able to treat you the same if you crossed the line with this woman even if she is a evil yokai."

"Ma'am, the culprit seems to have entered a delirious state after losing to me in hand to hand combat. I wouldn't recommend hearing the crazy ramblings of a mad woman." I say as I place my hands on my forehead doing a salute.

"That's what you say after everything you did and said to me!" Yura screamed while furiously struggling.

'Okay, even if I am having fun with the situation if you say it like that people are gonna think that I did something bad to her. Not that I care though as that would just make it funnier for me.' I thought.

Kaede seeing this situation unfold sighs and then speaks up.

"So, what are we going to do about this girl. We can't really have her running around doing what she did today to other people and we can't really imprison her at the village. You caught her so I'll let you decide how to proceed with the whole situation." After saying that she goes quite.

I look down and I find Yura staring silently back at me.

"I'll take her into my fold. I want to see if I can educate her along side Inuyasha. Teach her, him and other ayakashi that constantly struggling between humanity and us isn't the only option available to us. I'll lead every goblin, ghoul and ghost on this planet and turn them into a single entity. Does that answer both of your questions as to what my real aim truly is?"

To that last question all that I got in return was silence.

"Good, now I'm going to get close to heal your wounds so try not to move Kaede."

I then grabbed Kaede and pulled her out of the hole and proceeded to heal her wounds. After a couple of seconds of healing she was perfectly fine and was able to stand up on her own.

"Now that you're fine I would recommend going back to the village and checking it out to see if everyone is okay or if there's anyone that needs medical assistance. I'll take this girl and look for Kagome and Inuyasha to end this whole bothersome ordeal."

Not really waiting for confirmation I grabbed Yura and start walking in the direction of the bone gobbling well.

After we lost sight of Kaede's back she suddenly speaks out.

"I never said I was going to join your family or whatever it is." She says while looking straight into the ground.

"Whats your name girl?"

"Eh... it's Yura, Sakasagami no Yura."

"Well, Yura sorry to say this to you but I've already made up my mind and there's no way that you're going to change that. I'm a truly selfish and greedy man. Once I make my mind up about something there's no changing it. Whether it be a grudge or a simple d.e.s.i.r.e theres no one in this world that can follow it through like me. Now that I've made up my mind about you joining my hyakki yakou there's no way you're gonna get away from me. If you wanna blame anyone then blame yourself for having the type of horrible luck that put a man such as I on your path." I say with a haughty attitude.

"THAT'S UNREASONABLE YOU ABSOLUTE PSYCHO!" Yura screamed at me.

"I know right isn't it great." I say with my trademarked cheeky grin.
