Traveling The Anime Multiverse As Nurarihyon

[A/N: Here it is my first chapter using a new schedule. I'm gonna try to run with this until I at least reach the 20th chapter. After that maybe I'll add another day if this schedule is to taxing for me. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy it.]

I woke up to loud screaming and the sounds of wood being broken apart.

"SIT!!!" I heard kadome shout at the top of her lungs.

*CRASH*

Hearing that I look around the wooden room that the old priestess Kaede had so kindly provided me and I noticed the remains of some hemp rope sporadically layed around the wooden floor.

'Man, although I knew that the old rope wouldn't really keep him tied up for a long time, I thought that the sound of the rope snapping would wake me up. I guess I'm more of a heavy sleeper than I thought. I'm more surprised at the fact that he didn't try to gut me in my sleep after the beating I gave him yesterday... or more like earlier today.' I thought while calmly getting up and stretching my joints.

"I guess he woke up and once again tried to go after the shikon jewel thus triggering a scene that should of happened earlier on in their encounter. if I'm not mistaken the villagers should be repairing their broken homes after the attack from mistress centipede. I should stop him before he causes more trouble. I don't want to piss of Kaede more than necessary." I say to myself as begin to walk outside.

The scene that I saw when i entered the house where I heard the noise made me break into a small grin.

"TAKE THIS OFF OF ME YOU UGLY OLD HAG!!!" Screamed inuyasha while he laid on the ground on his back furiously pulling on the beads of subjugation.

"It's no use inuyasha even while using all of your strength you won't be able to take that of so easily. Those beads are subduing your powers." Kaede said while ignoring the struggling half-demon.

"ARRRRRGHHH" Inuyasha let's put while continuing his mighty battle against the collar around his neck.

"Girl, come here so I can continue tending to your wounds. While I do that I can tell you about the situation that you currently find yourself in."

"I understand" Kagome says while coming closer to Kaede to continue her treatment.

"Actually, I think I can help you tend to her wounds." I say while letting them become aware of my presence.

Then not really waiting for a answer I quickly made way towards Kagome. Place my hands on her ribs and stomach just below her c.h.e.s.t and quickly start channelling healing energies straight into her open wound. As my hand begin emitting a golden glow her wounds starts closing at a visible rate until it completely disappeared. Though it doesn't seem as she took kindly to me suddenly touching her body as just a few seconds later she smacked my hands away.

"W-what do you think you're doing suddenly placing your hands on the body of a lady like that. You... you perverted yokai!" She says while going red in the face making as much space between us as she possibly can.

"Eh? I was only healing you. In the first place you're certainly not my type girl. Although I like petite women with delicate features I prefer women more endowed with curvature. Come back after you grow some meat on your bones and then we'll talk." I say to her with a smug grin on my face.

"WHAT!?!" She shouts with a tick mark appearing on her head.

But before I could continue to tease her we both heard the voice of kaede behind us now sporting a urgent tone.

"Fascinating!!! You healed her wounds using what seems like spiritual energy. I didn't feel a single ounce of demonic energy being released from you as you did that... rather it seems like the energy used by us shrine maidens. But that makes no sense how could a yokai like you produce spiritual energy like that? This makes no sense whatsoever!" She said getting progressively more agitated.

"It seems I have to correct you on something I'm not a full-blooded yokai. I'm a half-demon and the ability that you seem so surprised about is one of the few mementos left to me from my human mother. But I'm going to opt out of going into much detail about my ability as I'm not the main focus of this conversation. I seem to recall that you were going to tell something to Kagome about her current situation." I say urging her to get on track.

Not failing to notice a small twitch Inuyasha gave at the mention of me being a half-demon and my human mother. Who was currently sprawled on the ground after giving up the struggle against the beads of subjugation.

Hearing me say that Kaede cleares her throat and looks at Kagome.

"As you know the resurfacing of the shikon jewel in this day and age is far from a good thing. With it involved the situation has become quite a big problem." She says while placing her hands behind her back.

"Many evil beings d.e.s.i.r.e the power that the shikon jewel coul grant them and will come swarming towards it."

"Umm... you mean, like yokai?" Kagome says while looking confused.

"No... not only yokai but people with evil in their hearts as well. In this age of war many would want to come into possession of the jewel. If they can get the shikon jewel and all of it's spiritual power they could achieve all of their d.e.s.i.r.es."

"Hmm? Then why do you want the shikon jewel Inuyasha. You're already strong enough even without the power of the jewel?" She asks while looking straight at him.

"It's because he's a half-demon." Kaede interjects after Kagome asked the question.

Inuyasha then sits up right and slams his fist into the wooden floor with an angry look in his face.

"Old woman, you've been going on like that since earlier. What the hell do you think you now about me!" He hissed out with hatred covering his face.

'Well, this kid really has some serious anger issues' I though thinking of all his outbursts.

"You don't recognize me at all do you? But then again that really doesn't surprise me."

"What do you mean?" He asks with a slightly irritated inquisitive look on his face.

"I'm the younger sister of kikyo. The very same one who sealed you. I am Kaede." She said while looking straight at him.

"Kaede...?" He asks

"It has been fifty years since then... so I have aged as well." she says while placing her hand on her chin.

"So you're that brat, huh? Which means if you're looking like this... then Kikyo must a total hag as well?"

"Too bad, being a human isn't it?" he says

cKikyo-onee-sama is dead. It happened on the very same day that you were sealed." Kaede said looking slightly downcast.

Heh, so that's what happened? too bad for that f.u.c.k.i.n.g bitch. For me it's a relie-" But he couldn't finish that statement as I appear behind him and plant a fist on the top of his head.

"Ouch! what the hell was that for you f.u.c.k.i.n.g bastard!" He indignantly shouted at me.

"Have some f.u.c.k.i.n.g respect for the dead you little brat. Especially if it's in front of the person's family. How would it feel like if someone were to be talking like that about your dead mo-" Kaede stopped me from further insulting him by raising her hand.

"It's fine, Inuyasha, It's a bit to early to be relieved." She the looks in Kagome's direction.

"Kagome, perhaps you are the reincarnation of Kikyo-onee-sama. It is not just your appearance or you magical powers but the fact that you carried the shikon jewel within your body. In her deathbed Kikyo-onee-sama asked to be cremated along side the shikon jewel so she could take it to the afterlife thus keeping it away from anyone with evil intentions. So it being within you serve's as the best proof. You must protect the shikon jewel." She says to Kagome who no has an alarmed look in he face.

*CL.A.P*

I clapped to gain the attention of the other people inside of the room.

"It seems that the situation has become quite serious. I suggest we all take some time to take the information in and return later on. Especially the girl that seems to be overwhelmed by this whole situation in its entirety." I say while trying to break the tension.

With that Inuyasha stormed out of the room without looking at any of us in the face.

I was about to walk out of the room when I Kagome suddenly rushed from behind me and grabbed on to the sleeve of my kimono.

"Wait! Can you walk with me for a little while. There's something really important that I have to say to you. I really need to tell you before you go the day ends."

"Fine, let's go on for a quick stroll."

After saying that we exited Kaede's house and started to walk with no particular direction.

Five minutes of silence later and she comes to a sudden stop turns around and suddenly bows her head.

"Thank you for helping me out yesterday!"

"I'm pretty sure that it was Inuyasha who took care of that centipede yokai yesterday." I say with a blank look on my face acting as if I don't understand what she's talking about.

"No! I'm talking about after the centipede woman was taken care of. If you hadn't been there the situation would of probably been completely different."

'Except it probably would of been fine even if I hadn't gotten involved.' I thought

"Rather than worrying about that I wonder who this Kikyo lady really is that would make that kid react like that to you just because you resemble her. From what I could gather although he doesn't have a filter in his mouth and has a bad temper it doesn't warrant him trying to gut you on sight just because. I wonder who this person was to him personally." I say planting a seed that would hurry up a drama filled conversation a little bit earlier than it happened in the original canon.

Hearing that she takes gets a slightly inquisitive look on her face.

Hopefully urging this a bit earlier can spare us some uncomfortable situations in the future. I see if I can make her question him about it later on.

Our conversation is interrupted by the surrounding sounds of the villagers chatter.

"Is that really her?"

"I hear she's the reincarnation of kikyo-sama."

"Now that you mention it, she does seem rather noble and solemn."

After saying that some of the even started putting their hand together in a prayer position and begin praying to kagome.

'Geh! I'm being worshipped.' Thinks Kagome clearly uncomfortable with the situation.

"Kikyo-sama, please take this offerings in hope that it may help you in your journey to protect the shikon jewel." One of the villagers said and then all of them joined in giving her an assortment of fruits and vegetables.

"Wait a minute, I'm not really kik-" she couldn't finish her sentence as they all immediately left after handing out their offerings.

*Chuckle*

"Don't laugh, this isn't funny!!!" She said with an exasperated look on her face.

After hearing that I couldn't hold it in anymore and started laughing like a madman.

"Hahahahaha!!! I'm sincerely apologetic Kikyo-sama. I wouldn't dare to do anything to enquire your all powerful wrath."

"Mou! Whatever, let's just find Inuyasha. I don't think the both of us can eat all of this by ourselves."

"Fine, I'm sure the brat is hungry after not eating any for over fifty years. We better go and find him to make sure that he isn't eating grass straight of the pasture or something."

"Even if he's a yokai he wouldn't do that, right?" She asks with a shocked look on her face.

I only grin back in response.
