Trials Of Love: The Romantic Goddess

Chapter 2 - Boredom x A Hundred Times

And, as a result of that, a variety of living plants which were so beautiful came into existence before my eyes, making me laugh in joy as I began to play among different kinds of colors, various types of flower, etc. For many, many years to come, once again.

However… just as you can guess already… I began to feel bored… again!

Because… even though the plants were really beautiful and colorful… they were… after all…just, too motionless… which in the end made me feel like they were dead once again!

So… after that…yet again, slowly releasing more and more of my omniscience, at some point, I finally arrived at the answer that I had to make things that can move! Things that were somehow similar… to me!

Therefore, thanks to that answer which I had arrived at, I created different kinds of creatures and animals that could move! Creatures that truly had life in them, just like me!

For numerous years after that, I was entertained very much by those creatures, as they could move around, and even play with me if I wanted. I mean, it was so fun watching creatures like that which were somehow similar to me.

Nevertheless, much to my disappointment afterward, that feeling of boredom began to rise slowly once again, because those creatures could only move according to what I wanted them to do… and they could absolutely make no decisions for themselves… since all they did, was according to the things I had put in them at the time I created or willed them to do at whatever time I d.e.s.i.r.ed.

So, seeing how monotonous and colorless they were in their actions as they moved mostly with their instincts which brought me no surprises at all… they too eventually succeeded in defeating that emotion of entertainment inside me, making it turn into boredom.

Therefore, left with no other options, because my knowledge without my omniscience was very limited since I restrict it to a very low level in order to stop it from interfering with my emotions, I had to activate even a greater degree of my omniscience this time before finally finding a novel ray of hope!

This time though, I arrived at a very interesting and different conclusion!

And with the thought of that conclusion, I began to shiver in excitement just with the notion of that option passing through my mind.

For the reason that the conclusion which I had arrived at was to create… creatures which were more like me, creatures which other than having life, could also make decisions for themselves.

Creatures, which simply had almost complete freedom, plus intelligence! And… the only way I could possibly achieve that was to, bestow upon them, something similar to my omniscience.

So, with that answer, filled with excitement… I began the creation of what you know today as angels and devils.

While creating angels, I made them so they would act and decide upon what they believed to be good and positive. (Though later some became fallen ones because what they believed seemed simply wrong to me.)

While making devils (which was later), I made them so that they would act and decide upon what they thought to be bad and negative.

Afterward, just like that, as I was done creating them, they truly began to entertain and interest me for a very long period of time.

I was really happy at the time and I really thought they would be able to entertain me forever since they were very similar to the me of the past without my emotions turned on, as they acted upon what they thought to be logical in their own limited wisdom.

However, slowly, I began to realize that… they only acted upon what they thought to be logical and reasonable… and, that nothing ever interfered with that decision of theirs… and as a result, they never truly did anything other than they what I had already expected them to do… what I had initially programmed them to do…

And as a result of that, the angels always decided upon what they believed to be good, while the devils' decision was always doing things they believed to be bad. At this point, they actually began to remind me of the creatures and animals which only acted in a complete typical routine way and did only the things I asked them to do, and this notion promptly intensified my feeling of boredom multiplied by at least a hundred times!

And it was at that very moment when I realized this wasn't the answer I was looking for either.

So, very disappointed and extremely frustrated, I activated the greatest degree of omniscience which I had activated to this very day since the moment I had willed my emotions into existence!

However, this time, unlike the previous times, as if a light bulb had turned on inside my head, suddenly the answer became very clear to me.
