Trials Of Love: The Romantic Goddess

Coming out of the interview room, Kay looked everywhere. However, no matter how hard he searched, he couldn't find any traces of Mina, the unique interviewee, anywhere!

"Did she leave? Didn't I tell her to wait for me?... Is this how she will work here if I hire her?" With a deep frown displaying itself on his forehead, Kay murmured.

Meanwhile, Annu was sitting behind his desk staring off to the distance in great worry. Within his mind, many notions were passing currently, 'Why is she here! Why here! There are so many companies to work in this large city… but why did she have to choose this one?'

'Could it be… she's doing it intentionally in order to get closer to me?'

Since a while ago, all Annu wanted was for Mina to dump him on her own, so in this way, he wouldn't have to be the bad guy in the relationship. He wanted this to happen since Morana was pressuring him every day to break up with her.

Anyway, in order to achieve this, he began the plan of ignoring her so much so she would eventually break up with him on her own.

However, much to his disappointment, he realized just how an understanding of a woman Mina was in their unwanted relationship. She was so patient with him that it even left him very helpless.

And then, two days ago, Morana once again pushed him to break up with her instantly. This time, feeling very powerless, Annu decided to break up with her on his own the next time she called, even if he had to be the bad guy!

However, luckily for him, he realized Mina wasn't calling him at all! This made him wonder, 'Could it be… she's finally gonna break up with me?' This thought left him really hopeful as he looked forward to what's going to happen the next time they met.

But unfortunately, unlike all his expectations, he met her at his working corporation! And apparently, this might be happening because she was following him to his job in order to work together! Moreover, they were probably going to be colleagues soon!

'If Morana gets the wind of any of this… I can't even imagine what kind of reaction she might show…' As this notion went through his head, a shiver went down to his spine as he thought, 'No… absolutely not! I have to prevent this at all costs!'

As that notion went through his head, an unfaltering determination appeared within his eyes as he decided.

Next, jumping off his chair, he vanished toward a certain direction.

Knock~ Knock~ Knock~

"Come in!" Voiced the middle-aged man looking at the door. He was the middle-aged who had just interviewed Mina some time ago.

"Manager Gilbert, how are you today?" He greeted politely.

"Hmm, I'm fine, what brings you here?" Raphael inquired while looking at his face momentarily.

Slightly tensing up, Annu started, "Actually… I came here in order to report something…"

"What is it?"

"Umm… I'm not sure if it is appropriate of me to say this… but, among the interviewees, I spotted someone with quite the history…" As if hesitant to proceed any further, Annu phrased.

"Just be direct. Tell me, what is it?" Still as indifferent as ever, Raphael asked.

Seeing his indifferent expression, feeling rather helpless about this whole situation, he could only continue, "Ah… I feel really bad for reporting this, but… for the sake of the company, I shall reveal it."

'It's your own fault, so don't blame me for being this ruthless!' A chilly glint sparkled within his eyes as he thought of Mina.
