Uchiha Itachi Reincarnated

Itachi passed through the barrier into the small village in front of him.

Upon entering he noticed that everyone in the village, from the children, all the way to the elders, none of them were above the 10th level of the Elementary profound realm.

The vast majority of the a.d.u.l.ts within the clan, were at the 10th level of the Elementary profound realm, with only the youths being lower in terms of cultivation level generally, since they would have only started cultivating recently.

"There must be something limiting their cultivation, otherwise there would be no way that there is no one in this village who was able to break through to the Nascent profound realm."

Striding forwards into the village Itachi felt even more clearly the force that was calling to him.

At the back of the village were some ruins, from within which something seemed to be calling to Itachi.

Itachi immediately headed for the ruins, ignoring the villagers, however at this time his entrance had been noticed.

A man came forwards towards Itachi, intent on questioning him.

"This old man is Feng Baichuan, I wonder what brings esteemed guest to our clan today?"

Feng Baichuan appeared quite respectful of Itachi, which was due to the fact that he was unable to see through Itachi's cultivation, causing him to be fearful of him.

Feng Baichuan didn't believe that someone without cultivation would be able to arrive at their village unscathed.

Itachi surveyed the village with a cold glance, also sweeping his gaze over the increasing amount of villagers.

"I felt an intense calling, from the ruins behind you and I would like to enter. Otherwise..."

Having said that Itachi released the full power of his cultivation base, causing the villagers to feel scared.

Itachi himself wasn't planning to attack, however he thought that based on him saying he had a calling towards those ruins, as well as the fact that he was far stronger than the people in front of him, they wouldn't refuse him.

However Itachi didn't plan on taking any risks. Itachi activated {{Kotoamatsukami}} and to the shock of the tribesmen, the clan leader said,

"In the past I wouldn't accept so easily, however now..."

Letting out a sigh the man turned and began walking towards the ruins, ignoring the cries of the villagers, which for some reason quickly died down, as if they had come around to the point of view of their clan leader.

Itachi had also used {{Kotoamatsukami}} on them, to make them more pliable and accepting of him entering the ruins.

Itachi without saying a word followed behind the clan leader, ignoring the seemingly deflated villagers.

Glancing around as he walked Itachi saw that all the villagers possessed a flame seal visible on their head.

At this moment Itachi heard the voice of Jasmine in his head,"That mark on their forehead, it's the symbol of the phoenix clan, but I don't know why it would appear here, it seems theres more than meets the eye to this planet if the bloodline of the phoenix is here."

Itachi was startled for a second before the cogs within his brain started to turn.

"Phoenix clan...a call from my body..."

A glint flashed through Itachi's eyes.

"If there is even the smallest possibility that there is a phoenix soul here, my physique will instantly be taken to the next level, if I absorb it my future potential will instantly soar... and I'll be one step closer to returning to my old world and reuniting with Sasuke."

Itachi quickened his pace and headed towards the ruins, following closely behind the old man.

As he got closer and closer the feeling of attraction Itachi felt was becoming stronger and stronger.

It reached a crescendo when Itachi was directly in front of the entrance to the ruins.

"These ruins contain the greatest secret of our tribe, being the grounds for the trial of the Phoenix god, our ancestor."

Upon hearing these words Itachi was almost certain that there should be a remnant phoenix soul here, however he was unsure of whether he would be able to obtain it, however it was clearly far weaker than it had been in the past.

Otherwise why would it remain here on this small planet, which Itachi knew from Jasmine would be considered a waste of a world in comparison to the Realm of the Gods.

"This trial should be designed to help, not hinder participants, and perhaps if I perform to the highest degree I might be able to gain a remnant of the phoenix's soul, which at my current level should be enough to completely fill my first soul containment point within the heart."

Pausing for a second Itachi then continued this line of thought,

"If I am able to start with a True God soul for my {{Nine Bestial Devil Dao}} body, even a remnant, my future path will be raised to incredible heights, with the potential to have one of the strongest possible physiques in existence, as well as the profound veins of a Creation God."

Even though Itachi felt a sliver of apprehension, he fundamentally believed that even if he couldn't gain the soul of a phoenix, due to the incredible attraction he felt, as well as the words of the local elder, he should be able to receive some gains, even if he wasn't able to gain the soul of a phoenix.

"Moreover, I would need it to willingly give it to me, along with some of its blood, if I was going to absorb it, however according to what Jasmine said there have been instances of successors to the Phoenix clan in the Realm of the Gods receiving the soul origin as a reward from trials which should be similar in nature to the one I'm about to undertake. I merely have to perform well enough to receive it."

Having thought this far ahead, Itachi turned and thanked the clan leader of the Phoenix clan, who still appeared somewhat dejected, before Itachi entered the ruins.

Not once did Itachi ask about why the clan members were limited to the 10th rank of the Elementary profound realm, having quickly entered the ruins at the back of the village.

The clansmen and women were shocked at the coldness of the youth who had seemingly waltzed past them, heading straight for the ruins at the back of the clan, entering the ruins almost instantly.

Itachi stepped through the entrance of the ruins, without so much as another word to the clan leader of the phoenix clan, merely giving him the slightest nod.

He truly gave off a cold and aloof aura.

With that the black robed youth disappeared into the entrance of the ruins, leaving the sight of the people of the Phoenix clan.
