Unfortunate Romance

Feng Ting picked at her food, subconsciously wary of the man sitting across from her. Today, he had sat across from her to eat.

Actually his eating style was very elegant. Haizz, so attractive that it should be in a movie.

"Have you considered enough?" The voice broke through her thoughts. Feng Ting coughed, focusing on poking the grains of rice.

"Not yet." The silence returned. She could feel the room turning colder. Was the AC on too high today?

"Brother!" The door slammed open. A young handsome man rushed in. "I came to see sis —" He swallowed his words as he saw his brother's piercing glare. "I came to see if you have that file I gave you earlier." He amended quickly.

Jiang Wuhan turned to Feng Ting with shining eyes. "You must be Miss Song!" His sister-in-law was very pretty ah! Prettier in person than in pictures!

And she was eating with his brother. Grandfather did something right for once!

He chose to ignore the seemingly heavy atmosphere.

Feng Ting smiled. "It's an honor to meet the infamous Jiang Wuhan."

This guy was labeled the playboy of the city. Although he worked under his brother Jiang Tianming, he was also a leader in the entertainment industry.

He actually reminded her of her senior sister with that unrestrained and carefree attitude.

Jiang Wuhan laughed. "You can just call me Xiao Wu."

Feng Ting beamed. Jiang Wuhan was so friendly! Compared to his ice-block brother who messed with her all the time, he was practically an angel!

"Nice to meet you Xiao Wu!"

Aside from them, the ice demon that was ignored through the conversation let out an icy aura. Jiang Wuhan shivered. But he really wanted to stay. After all, it was clear the two had reached an uncomfortable moment.

Feng Ting, unaffected by the icy vibes, asked, "You want to join us?" Jiang Tianming's face fell at her words.

Ten minutes later, Jiang Wuhan joined them at the table, his own lunch in hand.

Feng Ting shook her head. "I'm actually just finishing up my manga right now. I don't really like working at companies so I do freelance computer work." It wasn't far from the truth anyway.

Eh? Jiang Wuhan was slightly confused. His sister-in-law had a music degree. He knew that she was a manga artist, but had assumed she did the work to pay for college. He didn't understand why she was working with computers.

Jiang Tianming, whose anger bar was rising quickly at the moment, also looked interested.

Feng Ting shook her head. "Nope, not really interested dating." She shot a look at Jiang Tianming, then looked away.

Feng Ting stood up. "I actually have to go now. See you tomorrow." She scurried out the door before either of them could offer a ride.

The temperature immediately plummeted after she left. A certain demon CEO stared coldly at her brother.

"I was just trying to help." Jiang Wuhan gave his brother a pleading look. "Bro, it was clear she wasn't interested. I was trying to get you more info on her so you can date her easier."

"It was a great idea. Besides, didn't you learn more about her?"

" . . . "

"I didn't chase her away! She clearly had something to do!" Jiang Wuhan was indignant. His good intentions were actually unappreciated. He internally scowled. I'd like to see how you would get the girl with your nonexistent EQ.

Meanwhile, Feng Ting hopped off her motorcycle in front of a large building. Jin Hua Studio was a popular movie set village. It had over 20 floors of unique sets, many from popular movies.

She showed the pass that the director sent to her. "Fifth floor." The guard allowed her through. She was going to the set of Eternal Sound, one of the hottest upcoming movies. The number of famous actors casted in it was no small at all.

Feng Ting arrived on set. It was bustling, full of people running around.
