It has been two weeks ever since the "demon war", and many things have happened. First of all, there was an intensive cleansing of the entire forest. The corpses of demons would rot away and slowly seep their leftover demonic energy into the ground, which might cause large miasmic swamps to form, where deformed and dangerous demonic monsters could spawn, or even dungeons. Because of this reason, we had to quickly clean most of the corpses, and after that, I had to help the priests purify the land with my Tier 1 Light Attribute Spells and Holy Light Ki and even Heaven Ki, which I can produce through the help of Elizabeth's unique magic affinities.

Of course, this arduous work didn't come without rewards, as I have managed to secure a large quantity of demon materials for myself, especially the blue Oni, red Oni, giant demons, and even the corpse of the demon general, which ended almost completely roasted, but was still useful. Of course, the Demon General was highly priced material but I had sneaked at night to take it out for myself before anybody else did.

Naturally, the corpses also attracted wild scavengers, large flocks of dark crows began to fly from the faraway grasslands to eat this feast, so we had to deal with these annoying birds. They proved to be pitiful EXP bags that only gave 50 EXP per kill, some didn't even had Spirit Orbs because Dark Crows are more animals than monsters, but sometimes there would be a few that gave out Spirit Orbs. This new specimen was obviously secured in large quantities, and I got as many Spirit Orbs as I could, even buying those I saw in the market.

There were too many demon carcasses that I had to mass produce spatial bags to save them all, I have them all frozen now and buried underground, as I cannot fit everything in our house's storage. I have thought about building my own underground storage, so in the sidelines I started digging the ground at night and used [Dirt Shaping], a Tier 1 Earth Attribute Magic Spell that can slightly shape dirt to build an underground base. It looks rather pitiful and there are only a few magic-infused rocks illuminating the place, but it is my own secret base where I can do things without worrying about anybody catching me. I have thought of expanding it and digging down until I could find some sort of precious ores, but that might as well be a wasteful use of my time, so I quickly scratched the idea for now.

My father is still recovering from the wounds he has, but he should be alright in a week or two from now. My mother and my grandmother are taking care of the basic things in the house while attending the crops with my help. I also create water for them regularly, filling a once dried wheel. Everybody in the village had begun to ask me to give them water as well, for a price, of course, so I immediately decided to sell my services. Wheels were all getting dry around this village due to being such an old place, and magic tools that can produce water are expensive, only held by the nobles, poor villagers have no way to acquire such items, so I sell my services by selling large buckets of water for anything the people has to offer, vegetables, seeds, meat, antique or valuable items such as spirit orbs, or coins, though most of the time they give me food.

With that said, I've also been attending the crops. Using the Tier 1 Nature and Life Attribute Spells really makes the plants and soil richer. For the soil, I usually use the Earth Attribute Tier 1 Spell [Soil Enrichment] or its variables, and for plants, [Plant Enhancement] or [Metabolism Acceleration, both Tier 1 Nature and Life Attribute Spells that can barely do anything, but if administrated everyday can really make changes, such as crops taking only two weeks to grow instead than over a month, creating more profits for us. Also our crops are always the tastiest and most nutritional, so even peddlers have begun to buy our products, which we go sell with mother at the market.

And today, as usual, I've been attending the crops. Filling a bucket with water and then slowly pouring the water around the crops with a large scoop. The bright sun atop the sky was really good for the plants as well, and the breeze was slightly chilly but relaxing. Eleanora was also helping me, already gotten used to this work, she was planting new seeds at the side of our crops. She had grown to enjoy this simple and relaxing task.

"Phew… I am done." She sighed in relief. "Ugh, I am all covered in dirt."

"Water Ball."

SPLASH!

"UGEH!"

I dropped a ball of water over Eleanora to clean her from the dirt.

"Better?"

"D-Did you had to throw me a ball of cold water over my head?" She asked rather annoyed.

"Yeah, your clothes are part of your body so I doubt it would matter to wet them." I said while raising an eyebrow.

"Geez, Blake, you're so out of touch sometimes. Even now… You have to know that a lady dislikes getting all wet! Also it still takes time to dry my dress." She said while crossing her arms.

I couldn't help but smile at her antics, they were cute.

"You've grown quite a lot, haven't you? I don't remember you being this expressive before, Eleanora."

"T-That's only because you've decided to treat me casually now…"

"Hm, certainly. I like this new you. It fits you better."

"I-Is that so…? You're very weird sometimes, Blake…"

Eleanora suddenly grew slightly red, while averting her gaze from my eyes and fidgeting her hair embarrassedly.

"Water Ball."

SPLASH!

"Uagh! W-Why again?!"

"You still had some dirt over your head."

"Geez! You're really a bully!"

"Come on, don't get like that. I was just trying to clean you."
