WAR OF AGES

As he logs in the game what greets him was a stack of paper on his table and at the same time, they appear once more at the corner of the room standing.

As Agus look at the left side of table he saw on the domestic policy that requires his attention, most of the ministers suggested few new policies that need approval such as the need for adding more guard at the kingdom checkpoint but he knew on the during this war he needs of the soldier on the battlefield so not only did he rejected the proposal he also give a reason for it.

The next proposal, that stated the number of the villager that migrated to his kingdom heard about his exploit and wish to join him but due to his skeptic view, he agreed but with the condition of the establishment of the new organization.

That will watch and investigate the villager to learn their origin, intention, as well of their conviction to join his army because he did not want any further unintended trouble either by a spy or a troublemaker and wish for such an incident not happen ore reduce it to a b.a.r.e minimum.

While he received another proposal to create or merge with the existing organization that wishes to focus based on specialized need in the more specific area either to develop in domestic or military after reading it he was planning to give a go sign before suddenly his instinct told him to reject it and put a note to revise it.

He writes down the condition for it to exist he would like it to seek advice from the highest leader to proceed the next project then he put another condition currently the organization shall be in the preliminary or in prototype stage while every research that is being developed and researched must be reported toward the highest leader every week.

In the final proposal, he received from the minister of domestic affairs wrote a note that most faction who are previously in league with predecessor minister of religion had plotted something and it needs his consent to proceed.

Without further question, he quickly put the faction name in his watch list as well allowed them to conduct a periodic raid on them if by chance they struggle then the soldier is allowed to kill the individual on the spot without recognizing the personal influence.

Agus who read the proposal could only sigh in relief, that he did send an order before to take a watch on every faction in the kingdom and he was right to do so.

He knew for sure that if by chance that some of the faction will not stay low and he wishes to finish it by the root if possible.

Agus who are done the approval to the proposal slowly turn his eye toward the report about the military development as he saw there were no issues that may need his attention but he added an improvement toward the previous proposal in order to develop his military much further then he glanced a piece of paper near him which is supposed to be a report of the captured men which numbered to one thousand seven hundred and fifty men who are currently waiting in the prison as they await his approval.

Seeing the hidden opportunity is in his hand he quickly write down a message for them who wished to change side and join him and if they agreed then they would be recognized as a Majapahit soldier and may be given a medal and merit as well the instruction he gave should reduce the food burden for the kingdom.

He then returns to another paper that was given by his general and trainer that reported the progress of his soldier's training which is currently in good progress before hearing a knock from the door, he quickly stops looking at the paper and took a glance at the corner where the maid usually is located who is missing regularly.

"Sir?" said on the other side of the door.

"You may come in" without giving a glance.

As the door was opened it revealed two people which is Jeremy and Manser as they walk into the room and saluted.

"My lord, I have come to bring you to the meeting room as most of the general have discussed a feasible plan and await your arrival," said Jeremy.

"My lord, please follow us to the meeting room," said Manser.

"All right, hm... Manser can you carry this report about the available soldier for the campaign" said Agus as he points his finger to the report.

"Right away, my lord," said Manser as he walks to the report.

Agus as the leader of the group walks to the front of both of them then walks through the corridor hall before reaching the meeting room, where he found most of the general discussing the plan for the massive scale of invasion to the Malacca empire.

Few of the general spot him walking in which stop their talk before standing at their chair which followed by the rest of the general where they salute in respect but few did not do so, many of the generals fell silent was waiting for his next command.

Agus quickly raises his hand telling the general to continue and further discuss a bit more before the supreme general then tells the general their plan in turn. Each general proposed their idea and many of them use much manpower and there are chances of losing them.

Agus who heard it spoke that he does not wish to use much manpower as such may lead to unnecessary casualties which may cause the kingdom to lose thus a plan from a total of thirty-five ideas drop down to three plan which is feasible for his campaign.

Each of the general votes of the ratio of five against two against one which made the plan A has less chance of losing manpower more lower than other with the majority of the general favor such a plan is because of the idea itself is a mix of Ambush, Timing, Surprise attack, Sudden strike, and Quick-shift fortress.

With the new plan available for Agus's use he looks at the army which is now at his disposal and with his kingdom are located on the mountain any attack launched on it would be impossible to capture with it he marches forth with four thousand two hundred strong men accompanied by another three hundred militia which will be used as a recon force, hearing from his general they began marching an invasion toward the Malacca empire at noon where they want to attack during the day and with fewer number of soldier than the enemy they agreed to start the attack during dawn while marching at noon.

Hearing the proposal Agus approved the plan and the general saluted in unison before leaving the meeting room Jeremy who already an old man is no longer good in leading his man thus he gave his position to Manser in the command of Bodyguard squad as the preparation complete on time the army marches out from the fort at dawn when the enemy was celebrating on their capital and the city thought they won the war for expansion.

During the march, they split into three smaller division which will be tasked on a different mission and every one of them is excellent on their task and such mission were given to Patricia the daughter of Albertus as Agus said her skill was like her father as she was invited by Agus which made her father cried in joy of his acknowledged his daughter's talent as the army arrived at the border Agus noticed there was a soldier coming toward them which appear to be an enemy soldier instead of being alerted or on guard they welcomed the soldier's arrival as he saluted toward him which later recognized as a spy disguised as an enemy soldier.

"My lord, the enemy is still celebrating at the capital as they thought they have won the war but it seems they still in the dark about their failure," said the disguised soldier.

"Good if only I have an assassin that should be great to cause chaos during the celebration but it still perfect," said Agus with hope.

"My apologies we don't have the assassin you spoke of, my lord," said Lyon as he lowered his head.

"Yes Lyon, I know I already knew," as he said in agreement.

"Men I already know you guys are excited and want to march to the capital right now," said Agus as he looks toward his men.

"This reminds me when I was a young noble but this is much better than before even four times the number than back then," said Albertus as he remembers.

"Is that so father?" said Silvana as she put her hand on the sword in anticipation.

"At that time I also met your mother for the first time, Silvana," said as he looks at her daughter.

Not knowing what to say toward his father Silvana were silent before turning her gaze toward Agus who are still giving orders toward his men to prepare a camp before the start began at dawn finishing the order the camp was set up then the army rest up for tomorrow battle thus many of them did not light up any fire.

She also saw Agus was touching the air (Menu) as he was doing something that she would not know before going to sleep as Agus was looking at the battle plan on his virtual map he thought a solid plan before finally sigh in relieve and hoping the best for his campaign want to take a little rest Agus who are still awake grabs a bottle from his waist and drank from it before taking a dry jerky and walked toward a tree nearby hill shining on his surrounding revealing what seems to be a lonely man at night.

On such occasion one of the guards saw him were silent but his companions walk toward him as he carries a bottle of wine even inviting their lord for a drink not wanting to lower the morale of the army he accepted the offer and ask a cup from the man, he then was given another dry jerky with a different taste and talk casually towards him before some noble also joined in with the intention to get closer toward him as his men talk to each other without any status and rank to separate them.

As time is already midnight most of the soldier is returning to their tent to sleep while some return to guard duty as they changed place with the current guards some of the noble who are greedy stayed there in order to curry their favor toward his but there attempt was noticed by him thus he only talk unimportant topic thus they lost their interest as one by one they left the place by that time Agus was enjoying some light alcohol given by the soldier he requested before as he watch one more time and sip his drink in peace.

Note:

Don't get surprised at the time in the game world it's eight-time slower while in the spirit world not sure me but from one who once experienced said it would be close to twenty times much faster than in the human world.

So it's not that surprising for me, sigh
