WAR OF AGES

With the wall taken and the siege tower on the wall as it opened its mouth and the Majapahit soldier pouring out from it caused the wall being overtaken quicker as the soldier floods but during the initial assault on the wall about five to six siege engine was caught on fire.

The defender even though they were breached on the wall but they still able to push back the invader as they held their ground but due the stalling time made by the Bahyang soldier they were unable to push back all the incoming siege engine as they were still fighting in close combat hence when the siege engine opened its gate the entire army of the Majapahit's swarms on to the wall which in turn made the entire Malacca soldier on the wall either to lose their life or forced into surrender before the gate opened letting the entire army of the Majapahit to charge into the city gate as they looking for the enemy soldier inside the wall.

In Majapahit's army, there are written and unwritten rules not to kill innocent people or unarmed person thus when it occurs no civilian casualties were sustained.

"Where are they? keep looking don't let them run" asked an officer.

"They came this way, sir" answered the soldier as he saluted at the officer.

"Mm, Quickly get inside the building and find them search the entire building if you have to," said the officer. "Yes, sir" As the soldier run inside the building.

After being surprised by their own kingdom's soldier arriving and forcing their entry on the house at first they were dumbfounded before they turned pale after another soldier who has different kingdom's insignia on their c.h.e.s.t as they were either frightened as they were fearing for their very lives as the soldier looks at them.

"Is there any soldier coming here?" said the soldier toward the one of the family.

"Ah?! Yes, they went to our house's storage room there." said the young man who answered it as he also points his finger.

"Is that so? Guys, they are in the storage room come on." before he shouted toward his friend outside. "Okay, let's go." as the soldier outside goes to the storage room.

"You are surrounded, surrender now it's hopeless to fight back." shout by the Majapahit soldier.

"No, we won't surrender even if you take the whole city." as the Malacca soldier shouted back.

"Tiresome bunch then kill the head of the group while taking the survivor as a prisoner." said one of the Majapahit soldiers who seems to be from a higher ranking.

As they fight there was a clash of sword and pot crashing before one of the defenders died then fall to the ground, with bit more men ganging up against fewer one made them easy to be captured.

"You will never take me alive." another soldier shouted before he was knocked out with a back of a sword hitting his head. "Got em now hurry up and tie them up then we leave this place." as the man look at the dead soldier.

Leaving the storage room the Majapahit soldier carries the dead and unconscious soldier as they left the room while one of them talk to the resident of the house while thanking them for the help before suddenly given what seems to be a thirty gold coin as he left the place with a serious face and shouting to his friend that it's done and leaving the place.

Dumbfounded by the sudden change of the event they eventually smiled and heaven has given them the grace to help their family but they were also surprised by how friendly the invader is, even though during their entire life they would be killed or sold as slaves to another kingdom.

This is currently the trends the soldier of Indonesia's approach on another country in the war as they were friendly toward other people even though they are different which have no similarity in culture nor language due to the old oath "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" which meaning in the difference we are still one which made Indonesian people more tolerant with a different culture than another nation which supposedly the terms were first made and used by the famous general during the great height of the kingdom which is none other than Gajah Mada but no one knew his origin nor his history as the record was lost in times.

There is a story from a real event and can even be a traced back in the youtube when one of the peacekeeping or possibly government force on Africa probably misfired near the insurgent force as the situation slowly to start tensing up between the two forces but when one of Indonesian soldier who is with the peacekeeping forces was also in tight situation but he noticed the fire were on his side thus shouted toward the insurgent to lower down their weapon and shouted it was a misfire at first they thought it was a bluff but either once met and drunk the same drink they lowered down the weapon and trust the man even though it was still intense but the incident didn't get worse and eventually turned peacefull as the insurgent met up and talk together like a best friend.

That is kinda funny but it did happen from time to time as the Indonesian people were very relaxed and not very strict but doesn't mean we're not scary it's because of the teaching the ancestor teaching and prophecy that made most of us humble and kind I tell the reasons, later on so wait till later on the story.

The Majapahit went through a hunting spree for the remaining fleeing Malacca soldier as they fled throughout the city while only a few managed to flee into the small castle in the city what most would call a mansion but due to near the ocean thus it was changed into a small castle which was supposed to be a small hill artificially constructed.

Seeing it the army went and made a defensive position before advancing further to the castle, they were not sure how to proceed before Agus left a single message before logging out as he has received the info about the situation.

The message was as follows "Knowing that the castle will be in the middle of the hill, I leave design and plan of Shield wall I drew the day before hoping it would be needed for few more years but here it is"

The enemy knowing the Army was building defensive and another contraption occurring on the field made them initiate an attack but as expected they had a bit heavy resistance as they use cavalry charge on the camp killing about hundred or so men while another three hundred were wounded while few of them were critical.

Before Agus logged out he already told his man that he will let Adam take the command of the entire army while he was away even so Adam was a low ranking general and made many soldiers a bit nervous with him while few were opposed follow the command but they advised and told it was Agus's command thus they accepted and followed the order to the very letter.

As the army attacked Adam first defensive measure were the two-handed spearmen who are bracing for the cavalry charge as they inflict heavy casualties to the horse than its rider as they were stabbed directly in the head or cheat part as they still charged on, As the army only suffered a meager casualties Adam had ordered them to tend to the wounded while those who had no knowledge in medicine to hurry up and put up the barrier in order to stop any further attack by cavalry.

The enemy losing many horses turned them not able to respond faster and may make them weaker in open plain or raids, thus many of them who returned to the castle dismount from their horse and change into a weapon suitable for the next siege as they wait on the castle walls.

The Bahyang force was meant to be used as a force for a special operation or quick operation thus they will not participate in the final battle and the army will wait below the hill as they prepare for the last attack on the castle they were ready to hold their ground against the next wave of attack while the rest of the archer who uses a normal bow will take their position on the wall and they will pick off the enemy reinforcement who will be returning from marching from the East.

As the Army nearly finished their discussion of the final plan suddenly one of the sentries on the wall who were on the wall before quickly run to the inside still busy command tent, as he report the current situation on the wall with news of at least thirty thousand men is marching as they came from the west side of the city.

The people inside the tent were surprised but with the marshall of the army were silent all of them turned to quiet when no word comes from the marshall while they waiting patiently in anticipation, at the same time the noise is no longer heard when the waited voice was heard throughout the tent as they were standing straight waiting for the order.

"Alright, tell the man we shall continue the plan as intended then we must do it in this one strike and if we fail then the entire invasion is a failure" as he still had his eyes close "We shall continue the plan as intended we must capture that mansion that is located on top of the hill and we must do it quickly and if they manage to push back our attack then our plan

"As the plan suggested we must capture the enemy mansion that is on the top of the hill but we must do it quickly or they manage to push back the attack with the attack on our rear" as he turns his head to the left "Go and tell the man to attack this side of the mansion" as he pointed his finger at eastern side of the mansion on the map.

Hearing the order the officer was dumbfounded and are staggered in place before he opens his word and the only word that came out was "Ah?" as he looks at the finger carefully before nodded quickly "Yes, sir right aways sir as your ordered" before he left the tent in a hurry.

As the soldier left the tent the people inside of it looked at Adam right away as they see him was standing near the table with his hand on it while his head look downward unable to withstand the silent and Adam turned once more the people started getting anxious and even few of them discussed of the defensive plan on the wall before he opened his mouth once more and open his eye slowly.

Sigh "All right, gentlemen there are three outcomes that will happen next... First, we could stay here and wait how thing will play out later maybe they would surround us from all side trying to starve us to death or slowly killing us one by one" As he slowly looks upward toward one person on the front of him "Second we could attack them and try but we may fail to capture the mansion on the hill while taking heavy casualties on our side..." as he closes his eyes once more "Or last we go to the hill and take it then go to the wall then hold out from there waiting for our Lord to return."

The man was silent and they could not even twitch their eyes as they were in doubt how to proceed, before one of them answered not holding a single doubt as the word comes out from his mouth "Of course, we will win this war for our lord if we lose then it would stain our lord's honor."

Hearing the voice of a young man all of them turned their heads following where the sound came from.
