The blaring of an alarm clock broke through Will's clouded head. With a frown his hand blindly made its way to the source of the sound and threw a hand down to silence it. The distinct sound of metal crunching brought him back to consciousness.

"Argh my head" Will said out loud. Clutching his forehead the pain eased as he meticulously rubbed his temples. 'It was good I didn't die from over drinking. Seems like I'm a pretty stout man still' Will chuckled to himself as he cracked open his eyes. Looking around however it took a few moments before his brain could keep up with what he saw. Springing up from his sleeping posture he leapt to a standing posture quite swiftly. This room...wasn't his office. In fact it looked quite familiar.

Looking back he was sleeping in a single bed. He knew he fell unconscious in the office last night. Did someone drag him out to their home? Will shook his head at the idea, no one would be brave enough or stupid enough to mess with him in the confines of his own office. It was asking to be fired at best and at worst...I guess that doesn't matter yet.

"I should dress myself" Will said to himself but the sound coming didn't match what he was used to. It sounded rather boyish actually. With a jolt of panic, Will noticed a mirror in the corner of the room and rushed over. The sight was shocking to say the least.

He looked like his younger self back when he was ten. The beer gut was gone, his hair was no longer balding. This fact in itselfmade him want to shed tears.

"How is this possible?" Will whispered to himself as he grabbed his cheeks and pulled, hoping the pain wouldn't wake him from this dream. However all that he successfully did was bruise his young and innocent face. This left him with a huge amount of thoughts all rolling over each other on the situation he was in now.

Did I go back to the past? Was I teleported to another world and looked like my same self? His thoughts kept following along those same lines until he froze as he tried to remember his last thoughts. 'I remember drinking after the snake man left and then…' the realisation hit him like a truck. Was it that easy to just go back and fix your past...no if it did I'm sure the world would be nothing but chaos. A bright idea then came to mind as he looked around the room. Spotting a calendar in the corner of the room above a cheap wooden desk and chair he rushed over to look at the date.

"September 2nd, 1988" Will murmured aloud. His brain was working through it cogs as he tried to think. 1988...wasn't that three years before I met Chairman Cho in school and also...a shiver went up his spine. That was when he met Vice Chairman Rob as well in their schooldays. Will paced back and forth in the room as he sorted out his thoughts. Three years, three years. Will's eyes lit up with determination.

Three years, is time I can prepare myself. Which means...which means! I can change my fate. Will held a faint smile on his face, but this then dropped. What do I want my future to be? As a child previously he hadn't given much thought but now that he had lived through as an a.d.u.l.t it wouldn't be surprising that he analysed it more thoroughly.

If this truly was him in the past then he needed to confirm some things. Nodding to himself, Will grabbed a change of clothes. The sun was already rising and assuming from what little he could remember of his childhood he should be going to the local school for now. It wasn't until his old man mortgaged the house so he could go to that nice school that he met the main character in his life. His hands paused as he did up the buttons on his shirt. That was right, his father had suffered so he could have a better chance. Although the connections he founded were good, it also meant he left the man behind. As a single child, burying both of your parents was too heart wrenching.

Because they had mortgaged the house, his father couldn't pay the bills when his mother had an accident with a car. It wasn't too much later that she passed away leaving both he and his old man behind. He could still remember the old man having lost the joy in his life put a heavy hand on his shoulder while at the funeral. "Will...I will take care of you till the day you finish your schooling" his father said resolutely. Back then he didn't understand what the old man meant and had shrugged it off. The day he received his certificate of completion he had run back to show his dad.

Unfortunately the old man was true to his word as Will had already found him hanging from the ceiling fan, his feet weren't even twitching. The bastard didn't even leave behind a note. Just the broken heart of a child and lack of care of oneself. Vice Chairman Rob approached him soon after and offered a job as protection for him and Chairman Cho as they started their company together. Will had a pained smile on his face as he reminisced.

A thought however came into his mind. Wait how did the Vice Chairman know about this? Even his relatives were quiet on the matter hence he was left to fend for himself until the snake man came and snatched him up. The thought was beyond unpleasant and made him fume with rage. Was it possible he was behind it since the beginning? Will shook his head, life obviously had coincidences and it was most likely in his nature after finding out that he simply took advantage of the gift that was an early present neatly wrapped in front of him. That definitely sounded like the Vice Chairman.

Finishing up his thoughts he went and poked his head outside the door. The house had a familiar feel to it as he walked around exploring the old home that he once lived in. Pictures dotted the wall as he looked them over, his memories being filled in with what he had forgotten long ago. Stopping in front of one large picture had his feet rooted to the spit. It was a man, woman and a small child all smiling in the picture. Tears came down his face as he lightly put his finger on the picture. How many years has it been? Will smiled as he stared at the picture, a loving family still together.

A noise of banging pans came from downstairs causing Will to swivel immediately, his senses were on high alert as he adopted a stance and readying for an attack. However the noises were still coming as the scent of cooking food came from downstairs. He had forgotten they used to live in a nice two storey house and decidedly walked downstairs.
