10. She’s Such a Pill

“Yiyi?” After pausing for a few seconds, Qu Wan recognized the woman as well.

Walking over to her, Lin Yiyi grabbed Qu Wan by the hand while complaining, “Qu Wan, where the hell have you been these years? How come we suddenly lost touch with you?”

“I can’t do it!” Qu Wan shook her head.

“Why not? You’re hot and beautiful! I’m sure as long as you stand on the stage, those men would drown you in their affectionate gaze! What’s more, you’re short of money, aren’t you? The female guests will be paid handsomely. How can you miss such an opportunity to make money?”

On hearing the word ‘money’, which was what she needed most for the moment, Qu Wan began to waver. “Are you sure I can do it?”

“Absolutely!” Lin Yiyi promised confidently. She then stuffed Qu Wan a pile of program materials and dialed the number of the TV station.

“I’ve already found the grand finale female guest, so just get a few more people to make up the number.”
