When A Ghoul Falls In Love

“It’s all right.” Eli tilts his head and smiles. “It’s fine if you can’t hold my hand. Your wrist is currently hurt. I don’t want you to exert yourself.”

Huh?

“My arms are long.” He widens his arms, grinning like a little kid. “Why should we bother holding hands like little kids when we can utilize my arms by hugging like a.d.u.l.ts?”

“Are you speaking English?” I shake my head at him. “I don’t think that I can understand you.”

Did he not understand what I said? I just told him that it’s impossible between us.

“Love doesn’t need a language.” He pulls me in his embrace, squeezing me between his arms. I can barely breathe. What got into him suddenly? This man has gone mad.

I muster my energy and yell, “Doctor Sanguine, let me go.”

He presses me against the seat. I stop squirming when his hot breath tickles my earlobe. His voice is deep and a little husky. “When you looked at me earlier, you were not looking at me. I don’t know who that person is, but I am not that person. I am Eli Sanguine. I love you, Nell Solomon. I will never hurt you. Let me make you happy.”

His words are simple and straightforward. They sound sincere as if they come from the depth of his heart. But words become meaningless with time.

I snap out of the daze when I feel his teeth nibbling my earlobe. My cheeks flush with heat. What the hell is he doing? I try to push him away. Why is this slender looking man so strong? What does he eat?

“Ah” I squeeze my eyes. My heart is beating too fast. I can’t breathe. The calm that I found a moment ago is being broken by his sudden onslaught on my ear. He glides his tongue over my ear. “Don’t do that, Doctor Sanguine!!!”

Eli pushes me away. His face is pink. He blinks his eyes in surprise. His gaze falls on my ear. My poor ear feels like it’s being burned by his gaze. I cover my ear with my hand and looks at anything that is not him.

“I am sorry.” He bows to me. “I lost control for a moment. Your scent is I was seduced.”

“But” Eli asks with a meek voice, “Can I do it again? I really like doing it.”

Why is he apologizing? He doesn’t regret doing it. I smack his head. “I can sue you for s.e.x.u.a.l harassment right now.”

“Is it okay if you sue me after I do it one more time?” He raises his head, looking at me pleadingly. “I didn’t think that I would ever say this. I like my lipstick on your ear.”

I can’t with this guy I lean back in my seat, exhausted as if I have run a mile. I rub my forehead. Is he human? I have never met anyone this shameless before. I don’t think that a human can be this shameless.

His strong arms coil around me again. He sucks my left earlobe, nibbling and tickling it with his tongue. My body is drowning in the heat radiated by his body. I realize that I am holding my breath, completely stiff in his arms as he continues to wet my ear with his saliva. Does this guy have ear fetish? “What the hell are you doing? I didn’t say that it was okay.”

“You were silent. So, I thought that you were okay with it.” His lips brush against my jaw. He looks into my eyes. His golden eyes twinkle. “If you keep looking at me like that, I won’t be able to control myself.”

“Enough of this!” I grab his mouth. “You perverted Doctor, if you want to eat ears, you should eat your own.”

“They won’t taste as good as yours.” He holds my hand. “I am serious. I will love you a lot. I will pamper you. I will get you anything you want. You should marry me. The civil office is still open.”

Damn him! I open the car door and get out. If I spend one more moment with him, I might become a real murderer.
