When The Darkness Arrives.

Chapter 2 - June, 6, 1944

my hands were gripping onto his browning auto-5 while the boat was swinging against the waves. "50 SECONDS." someone yelled. all I thought about was the loud bombing sounds. I got so lost in thought he didn't see the bar gone down. all the men in front of my eyes got shot down. kink, ching, bang. bullets going one by one. I jumped over board.

"JAMES, COVER YOUR HEAD AND MOVE, YOU AND DON WILL TAKE BEHIND THE METAL BARS AND TAKE YOUR SHOT." Sergeant yelled. I ran as fast as i can, but i fell in a ditch. I looked behind me, and I saw my best friend die before my own eyes. his limbs gone but one, his hair fallen in his face, lips swollen with blood.

I pulled out my gun and started firing towards the germans.

the day was finally ending as i laid my gun down to rest. "I can do it sir, why don't you believe in me, i've got this." a sound of a woman's voice said.

" it's to dangerous. why don't you go home and make me a sandwhich."

"You s.e.xiest dirt bag i will make you a deal, settle this like men. send me your best man my way. if i win i get to lead the whole way through paris. if i lose i go home home and you lead."

all of the men started laughing until the sergeant brought out the toughest guy towards.

and damn, i thought my eyes were deceiving. she took the man down, and started beating him till he cried.

"stop, stop no more, please?" he pleaded with tears in his eyes.

she picked him up, and said " looks like the leader of the pack now."
