Contrary to what was expected, Zhao Chun continued to stay calm and collected, at least outwardly.

After the three had confirmed that she was emotionally stable, they got back to their planning.

"So far, we have two good ideas with one being slightly more detailed."

Anthony calmly stated. He tried to give the impression of a leader to promote morale. Dying from choking on a nutrients drink didn't exactly have the best impact on their morale.

"Thanks for the effort."

Zhao Chun stated sincerely.

"Ok, back to the problem at hand. I think we should do a combination of both. We need to get to the top as fast as possible and show that god what for!"

Anthony said proudly. They all cheered in agreement and got the bartender to serve them a round of liquor.

"Hey, surprisingly I'm pretty tolerant to this stuff."

Anthony said as he downed his 14th shot. He had never had alcohol in his previous life, but the constant drinking from the previous Anthony had caused the alcohol tolerance levels to be abnormal.

The four friends stopped before they went too far and decided to head towards Anthony's new home.

After a bout of walking, they found a Taxi and had the Taxi drive them to Anthony's home. After about an hour, they arrived in front of an extremely high-class apartment building.

"I guess this is the place, guys."

Anthony turned to his friends and they walked into the building together. When they entered the building, they were met with a large reception area. It was paved with marble and there were people dressed in formal wear ready to greet any guests.

"Ah! If it isn't Master Anthony and his friends! How was your excursion? I hope it went well."

A rather shrewd-looking man walked up to Anthony and his friends. From Anthony's recently acquired memories, he found out that this shrewd-looking man was the manager of this fine establishment.

He had a large nose, slick black hair, and a slightly disturbing smile. He wasn't exactly a looker, but he got the job done quickly, honestly, profitably and efficiently as an ideal capitalist would.

"Take me to my room please."

"Of course Master Anthony, right this way."

The manager escorted Anthony and his friends to the private elevators only for those in the top 5 floors. The apartment building had about 50 floors. The first 30 were available to the public and were rented by those with high paying salary jobs that wanted some luxury in the city. The top 20 floors were reserved for those that were approved by the manager of the apartments. Of course, being the son of the CEO of the corporation that owned the business had its benefits. Anthony lived on the tippy top floor of the building in a fancy penthouse.

The doors of the elevator opened with a "ding" sound and they stepped into the elevator. It had a lot of room and the group had enough room to spin around in circles with their arms extended without even touching each other.

"Master Anthony, the key."

Anthony fished out a gold plated keycard and handed it over to the Manager. He then stepped forward and had an eye scan as well as a fingerprint scan. When all read positive, the elevator doors opened.

The sight was a feast for the eyes. It was the epitome of modern society, not many other living quarters could compare. It was a smart house and had the best of the best. Anthony had seen it in the previous Anthony's memories, but seeing it in person still made him watch in awe.

The reactions of his friends were even more exaggerated. They started to go around touching everything. For them, these were all valuable antiques. The technology they didn't value too much, but the furniture, especially the wooden ones, were priceless antiques in their day and age.

"So this is what it feels like to sit on wood! It doesn't feel like what I expected."

Kun Kim exclaimed as he sat down on the wooden floor. The wood felt smooth and grainy, it was a strange yet comfortable feeling that synthetic cushions didn't have.

The manager had a strange look on his face.

Where had these kids been living? Or were they just messing around with him?

The manager looked at Anthony to see if he would explain.

If I remember correctly, the manager's name is "Dylan Dinh". The man had somehow endured the arrogance of the previous him, he deserved to be at least referred to by his name.

"Its alright Manager Dylan. They've been drinking too much. You can go now."

Anthony smiled reassuringly. Manager Dylan looked surprised. Anthony had never spoken such nice words to him before, he kind of liked this Anthony better. In response to Anthony's statement, he took a closer look at Anthony's friends on his way out.

They don't seem drunk or stoned.

He could tell that they had full use of their mental capabilities. He had seen too many drunk or stoned homeless guys try to barge into the hotel when he was passing through the lobby, but they did not seem to be in the same condition as Anthony's friends.

Oh, well. I don't manage who Master Anthony spends his time with.

With that thought in mind, Manager Dylan entered the elevator and left Anthony and his friends to their devices.

After they settled into their new home, Anthony and his friends relaxed a slacked off for a few hours.

"Shouldn't we do something? We have to get revenge on that so-called god eventually."

Zhao Chun reminded the other three. The three snapped out of their mental stagnation and the friends got to work on researching this world. Each used a computer and researched different parts of the world and how it functioned.

For example, Anthony had the responsibility on researching the Demon Hunter system and how that worked out and the history of this world and how it came to be this way. Turns out the Hunters were classified into letter ranks. It went from F to SSS ranks. These were classified by standardized devices sent out by the Demon Hunter Association that measured the amount of Uril in one's body or a supernatural power granted to humans by the "gods". In this world, demons appeared through randomly appearing gates. When the gates first open, the hunters have the opportunity to raid it like a dungeon from the games.

Each gate is its own independent world that contains a different biome, map, and monsters. One could tell from the amount of Demonic energy the gate emitted. The Demon Hunter Association provided standardized Demonic energy measurers to Guilds in bulk.

Anyone could go buy it, but it was more profitable to join guilds. After the gates started opening, people with supernatural powers called "Demon Hunters" would hunt the "Demons" that came from the gates. As a result, humanity was forcefully united to fight against a common enemy. France due to unlucky circ.u.mstance was the only country to fall to the Demons. The Demon Hunter Association enforced a border around France and only allowed high ranking Demon Hunters to enter France.

They made many attempts to retake France, but all missions were a failure with half of them resulting in a complete team wipe, causing humanity to lose a fourth of their SSS ranked Demon Hunters.

Besides Demons, other races had also come to this world. There were the Demi-Humans, who are discriminated but still are allowed to co-exist and the Executors, whose lives were devoted to Demon killing.

Anthony stood back and slowly tried to process all the information that he had just read.
