Now, I was able to single-handedly pick up a rock that was about 2 times bigger than an average soccer ball.

Anything bigger than that made my wrist hurt.

But if I can pick up things this big, it makes the job easier.

Once the BOX was full, we headed to the docks.

The hole we see in the center of the dock is something that was made when we first returned to the island.

To be accurate, one of the Dwarven Craftsmen brought some heavy equipment, and when they tried to bring it onto the docks, the wood snapped from the weight.

Luke: “Oh crap. I forgot. Before we place these rocks, we need to take apart this dock first.”

Sia: “Place next to bridgeー?”

Luke: “Yeah, let’s do that.”

First, I return the BOX to its default size. Then I alchemize the stones inside.

I shape it into a perfect square, exactly the same as the BOX.

And I walked to the end of the dock and opened the lid and rolled out the content inside.

While the stones are in the BOX, I feel no weight, but once it’s outside, it regains its weightーーso I just drop it directly into the water.

Luke: “Oh, yeah, I didn’t think it would be big enough to reach the surface. Okay! Let’s go collect the stones for the next block!”

Sia: “Yeaー!”

Boris: [Pehー]

And by the evening, we were able to make 8 total blocks.

At the deepest end, 3 blocks on top of each other barely reached the surface.

I’ll just have to adjust the rest to the dock’s height and shave off the top and add more height if necessaryーー

Luke: “But moving the stones ourselves would be impossible, so let’s wait for Gonzo to help us tomorrow.”

Sia: “Yea”

Luke: “Then let’s pick up the fish and return to town.”

We don’t know if they were shocked with the falling rocks, but fishes started floating to the surface.

Tonight, we’re having a fish party for dinner.

We put more than 30 fish inside the BOX, and there are even some big ones in the mix.

We should have enough to share with the people of the town.

“Here you go, little Gonta. Enjoy.” Gonta: [Wow~ It looks delicious!]

The Dwarven women’s cooking is extremely good!

I’ve never had home-cooked meals in my previous life or in this life, but I’m sure a mother’s cooking would have tasted like this…

For Gonta, they lightened the flavor slightly, and Gonta enjoyed eating it.

Luke: “Thank you very much, Mrs. Rosetta.” Rosetta: “No need to thank us, Governor. We enjoy cooking, and we love watching you all enjoy eating our cooking too.”

The Master Dwarf Carpenter who came to our town, Gredd. His wife, Mrs. Rosetta has been helping with providing meals for the workers.

When it was just Sia and I, I was doing the cooking but coming home to a home-cooked food like this is………amazing.

Boris was eating a single carrot next to Gonta, and he enjoyed crunching through a large serving of cabbage and fish meat.

Luke: “So the horned Sheepoo can eat meat and fish tooー”

Gredd: “Of course. They might look like sheep, but they’re Monsters in the end. They’ll eat meat too.”

And Mr. Gredd, who was eating with us in the dining hall, spoke up.

Watching Boris, you could tell that he especially liked carrots, but he enjoyed the cabbage and meat about the same.

“Sir Governor. It is said that there are no herbivores among Monsters. Even the Insect Type Monsters eat meat as well.

And there were other Knights in the dining hall too.

On the 2nd floor of this inn, there were about 10 rooms total. We took out the walls in between in some rooms to make it bigger, and now there are 5. The Princess, Sia, and I are currently using 3 rooms. The other two rooms will be occupied by 2 others who will come to help manage the town.

On the first floor, there is the dining hall, and the room we were using, and two other rooms.

We removed the walls in those two rooms, and the Knights currently spend the nights there. Of course, that includes the room Sia and I were formerly using.

Luke: “Well, it’s good that you’re not picky about vegetables or meat. You two, eat plenty, and grow up nice and well.”

Gonta: [Okay!]

Boris: [Pehー]

But Monsters don’t have much of an appetite.

But if it wasn’t for that, this world’s food supply would have been completely consumed by Monsters.

After dinner, I walk Gonta and Boris to their respective homes.

And for little Gina, I gave Boris a carrot packed with nutrients as a gift.

Luke: “Tomorrow, we’ll have to continue working hard on the docks.” Sia: “Yea. I hope lots of people come sooー”

Luke: “Well, just making a dock itself is not enough to call more people over.”

We’ll need more carpenters too~

I could maybe ask the Prince for more help.
