Riley #2 picked the book up and began to browse through it, then she slowly began to learn with the help of the voice system. Weeks passed by, as a few visions of Riley #2 being subjected to that same thing as what had happened at the start. Finally, Riley's hair was completely silverish blue and her eyes as white as snow. The doors flew open and the man ran in, he was beaten and bruised, he fiddled with keys as they slipped and fell many times before successfully finding the right one, Riley has risen in alarm by the sight of his state and watched as he freed her from the chains. He picked her up and rushed back out of the room. Riley #2 flinched at the sudden light and couldn't see for a while when suddenly * poof* the sound of a gun range through the room like a toll Bell. The bullet entered the man's shoulder right above the collar bone and underneath the nervus system, unfortunately right where a huge vein lays. But the young Riley didn't know or understand what was going on. She only knew that the man was hurt and that he needed help. The man threw something just as Clare shouted:" Get back with that monster!!" *BOOM* whatever it was exploded right in front of Clare as the man rushed down a porch and right into a car, he placed Riley in the passengers seat and drove off as quickly as he possibly could with his injuries.

"Mister. What did she mean by 'monster'?" Asks Riley, speaking for the first time.

" She means that you aren't human. Don't go looking into this, Riley, it'll only make you suffer. In going to drop you off by a very good friend of mine. You need to lie to them, tell them you don't remember anything, your name will be Sandy Kalin Hale. They'll look after you until you're old enough to take care of yourself. Please promise me you will act like nothing ever happened to you, that you don't remember anything that happened before I dropped you off, please." The man begged. Riley tilted her head in confusion, but nodded her head.

"I'll try, Mister."
