I pretended to be asleep and lay still, so no one knew I was eavesdropping. They decided to send me to my death because I had drunk the elixir of awakening. Logic dictated that the effects of this potion were much more extensive than just an increasing of my stat points. Wow, I have logic! I need to understand my new abilities. What happened to me?

I read the MESSAGES about myself with awe.

So, my characteristics were the following

Strength good (+1)

Dexterity normal

Intelligence excellent (+2)

Stamina good (+1)

Perception worthless (-2 one-eyed)

It's incredible! I have great intellect! How is that possible? The appraiser said it would only be increased by one stat point. Although he lied about many things, why didn't the magic detect fraud? If silence or concealing is not considered cheating, this is a good thing to know.

Regeneration +2, passive skill; it allows you to restore your health during a battle and the rest and can deplete the body;

Repelling an Attack +2, active skill; it repels physical projectiles and attacks; it doesn't repel electric, acoustic and mental attacks; it requires a melee weapon or shield.

The Strike of the Sun, an active skill; it allows you to deal damage to creatures of shadow and dazzle others

Small spider, active skill; it summons and gives control of the black demonic spider of the first level

Available skills:

Heavy iron. You are confident in the fight with swords; attack bonus +1

Weaver; you have the ability to form schemes and summon creatures; available level: 1.

Seeker of truth +1; bonus while checking, analysis and searching +1

Awaking; your body, soul and blood have been awakened; now they can be directly controlled if you have enough skills and power.

Wow, that's new. This ability was manifested only after I had drunk the elixir.

So Enmyra and the Baron were engaged in a discussion while I pretended to be asleep. I can't wait to see what happens next. Gladiator Academy. I've heard of it before...honor...dignity... death in the arena. Trying not to think about those things, I read the rest.

Blacksmith's apprentice. Herbalist's apprentice. Apothecary's apprentice. Black guard. Green blood. Night vision. Glowing blood. Half-blood. The Servant of the HAND.

This information wasn't new to me. However, the injuries had weakened me.

Starvation.

So, this has sentenced me to a slow death. I couldn't do anything: I couldn't run or cry for help.

If I can't move on my own, it's worth trying using the spider sitting on my wrist. I concentrated and the insect control panel appeared before my eyes. I hadn't noticed the control keys before, they might have appeared after receiving the bonus intelligence.

Choose scheme behavior:

1) direct control,

2) protection-distraction,

3) protection-attack

I preferred to use the first function right now, and I would deal with the rest later. I kept gazing at the control panel and began seeing the world through the spider's eyes in black and white. Since the spider had so many eyes, I could see the world at the same time in front, on the sides, behind and above. It was an amazing feeling, but I felt a little dizzy. The spider ran over my arm. I felt sick from what I saw: I looked like a skeleton, skin and bones. It was amazing how I survived being in such a physical condition. I was probably lucky.

In the body of the spider, I went down the canopy of the bed and crossed the room. To cover a human step, the insect had to walk for twenty seconds. But it was useless to complain. We need to save ourselves.

I can only do this by calling for help. Who needs me now? Only Lysandra is interested in me staying alive, because if I die she'll die too.

I had to get into the girls' room. I crawled under the door and rushed out into the middle of the corridor. Strange images appeared on the side, I turned around and saw the Guards, standing on either side of the door. Screw it! How will Lysandra get here? Even if I find her—they won't let the girl into my room. But I'll try to deal with this later.

I suddenly realized that I didn't know where the rooms were in Oulsast's house. Logically, the bedrooms should be upstairs, and the hall and living room downstairs. So, the girls' bedrooms should be next to mine. But the slaves mustn't live near their master, so the girls probably stayed downstairs.

I decided to explore the next room. As soon as I thought about it, the spider rushed in the right direction. It was amazing how fast his eight little legs moved. A few minutes later, I looked into the darkness of the pantry, full of dishes. I didn't need this room. The next room was three times smaller than mine; it was beautifully furnished but it didn't have a bathroom. The living room!

After running through the second floor with the help of the summoned creature, I realized that the mansion wasn't so large, even though it was bigger than my parents' old house. There were only five rooms on the second floor, three of which were quite tiny. When I looked around all the rooms, I decided not to go downstairs to the first floor, and ordered the spider to just jump down the stairs.

I wish I hadn't done that. The spider lost his balance, landing not on his feet, but on his back. It took almost five minutes to figure out how to control the legs and roll over. I was disappointed when I suddenly saw the key 'Stabilization of Movement'. If I had found this command in the menu at once, I would have saved a lot of time.

But I was lucky on the first floor almost immediately. Vasilisa, standing by the fireplace, was rinsing vegetables for soup. Her mouth was slightly open, she was probably singing. She didn't pay any attention to me, or to be more precise, to the spider I was controlling while lying in bed. Maybe she would see me when I climbed higher.

Moving my legs, I got closer, thinking what to do next. Shall I crawl up the wall? She may not notice me because the wall is too far from the fireplace. Shall I crawl over the fireplace? What if she gets scared and sweeps me into the fire or I fall in? Then I'll crawl on her leg under the hem of the skirt. This won't be considered harassment because I am now in the form of a spider rather than a human. It was dark under Vasila's skirt. After a few seconds, my vision flickered, adjusting and switching to night mode; I saw her n.a.k.e.d body. For a moment, my eyes clouded. It wasn't caused by the spider's vision. She would have to be ordered to wear u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r at all times. Don't the girls in her village know that?

I need to be calm. I have an important mission--to save my life and the lives of my slaves. I have to pull myself together and crawl up rather than examine Vasilisa's body. The spider became uncontrollable and tried to climb along the inner side of the girl's t.h.i.g.h, despite persuasion. I got myself together, crawled up, ran between the b.r.e.a.s.ts and climbed on her neck.

The image shuddered and faded away, and then came a deafening squeal.
