A Villainess's Struggles

It's so cold...

Winter break is coming soon and everyone's excited. Our teacher asked us what we were going to do during the break and it seems that many of my classmates are going on trips.

For me...

Angelina is going to have a Christmas party at her house. She invited Anna, Olivia, and me.

We're going to exchange gifts at her party and do lots of other fun things. Being with friends and family is how one should spend their childhood.

For the gift, I decided to give a simple pink lamp. I didn't really know what to give.

My criteria was:

1. Easy to carry to Angelina's house

2. Useful

3. Can last for a long time

4. Looks nice

5. Anyone can use

I'm sure whoever gets my gift will hate me.

Unfortunately, the teacher decided to give out homework for the break. I rarely had homework during winter break in my previous life. Now I have so much...

On the first week of winter break, I finished all my homework since I had nothing to do. My mother was proud of me for finishing my homework quick.

After finishing my homework, I read the novels I bought recently and ended up reading them all a second time. I really have nothing to do in this life...

It was time for Angelina's Christmas party. I arrived at her house on time. Everyone was already there. I was told to give my gift to one of Angelina's maids so that no one knows which gift is who's.

"Welcome Natalie" smiled Angelina.

"Thank you for inviting me today" I smiled back.

"The other two are in my room, come upstairs" said Angelina.

I followed Angelina to her room. Surprisingly, her room was very normal. It was very clean and tidy.

Anna was sitting on Angelina's bed while Olivia sat on a chair. I sat down next to Anna.

"Now that everyone's here, let's watch a movie!" said Angelina.

She turned on the television in her room and chose a movie. The movie was called "The Hidden Doll in the Woods".

This sounds like a horror movie...

I usually don't get scared of movies unless it's really scary. Anna next to me was already shaking. You okay there?

Throughout the movie, I could only hear Anna scream and Angelina laugh. Angelina's villainess skills are showing...Laughing at things that aren't even funny...

My poor shirt was also pulled by Anna many times now. It's probably super stretched now, how am I supposed to wear this next time?

Olivia was silent throughout the whole movie. She looked like she was bored.

The movie finally ended. Olivia went to turn on the lights.

"Wow! That was a great movie! Wasn't it funny?" laughed Angelina.

F-Funny? Is your IQ that low?! I thought Angelina was a very smart person (excluding school)?!?

"Angelina, which parts were the funniest?" I asked.

I was just curious, she might just be joking.

"Y'know, that part when the head of the doll popped off and blood went everywhere" smiled Angelina.

"AHHH, DON'T SAY ANYMORE!!!" yelled Anna.

Oh sorry I shouldn't have asked that question. I'm very concerned with Angelina's future now.

"How about we exchange gifts now?" suggested Olivia.

"Okay~" said Angelina.

The maid brought over the four gifts.

We did rock paper scissors to decide who goes first and who goes last. I'm going second.

Olivia was first and she decided to pick the smallest gift. I chose the second biggest gift. Anna chose my gift and Angelina took the last one.

Sorry Anna, you won't be very happy...

We opened our gifts at the same time.

I got a set of art supplies. Yup, this is definitely Olivia's gift.

Olivia got jewelry and Angelina got a big white rabbit doll.

We really do give strange gifts...It's obvious who gave which present too.

"Olivia, you got my gift" said Angelina.

"Natalie got mine..." replied Olivia.

"And Angelina got my doll" said Anna.

Yeah... I was the one that gave the lamp...

"Well that was fun in a way. It's nice to know what gifts you guys would give" smiled Olivia.

I'm sorry about that lamp really...

"Let's go eat dinner now" said Angelina.

We went to the dining room and we were served lots of delicious food.

There was steak, shrimp, potatoes, and so much more.

For dessert, we were given hot chocolate and cake.

Everything was so delicious. Thinking about it, in this life I'm eating quite a lot of food. Everything tastes really good...

After dinner, Olivia, Anna, and I said bye to Angelina and left. One thing to remember today is that Angelina loves horror movies. She finds them funny which is strange.

Then again, this is a world of a comic, I won't be surprised if someone falls down from the sky next. Anyways, today was a fun day, all thanks to the food!
