A Villainess's Struggles

I took Allen to my car and my chauffeur drove us to my house.

Allen went inside my house and greeted my mother. My mother was surprised about how long his hair was. She immediately took him to the maid who knew how to cut hair. I decided to go to my room and put my school bag away.

After going to my room, I walked to the room that I heard cutting sounds from. I peeked through the tiny opening in the door.

W-Woah! Is that Allen? How was he not a main character in the comic?! Maybe there was something wrong with my memory?

Oh? He's looking over here...I think he noticed me...

"Hey Natalie" Allen said as he waved at me.

"H-Hi" I said as I waved back.

If he goes to school tomorrow, the girls will be all over him! I seriously need to find out who he was in the comic. There's no way I would miss a character like him!

After the maid finished cutting Allen's hair, I guided Allen to my room. We will be working on the project in there.

We planned out the skit and made a script. It was fun talking to Allen about what I did during the summer vacation.

Today was the day of presenting the skit. Allen and I went third. I talked about his trip to London while he talked about my fishing trip. It went smoothly and quickly. Everyone was surprised when Allen cut his hair. Like I predicted, all the girls were hanging out around him.

During lunch, I sat with the usual people, Angelina, Anna, and Olivia. I decided to introduce Allen to them.

"This is Allen, he's from my class" I said.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Angelina~" said Angelina.

"I'm Olivia" smiled Olivia.

"And I'm Anna" said Anna.

"Nice to meet you too" replied Allen.

"But...Allen, you kind of remind me of someone..." said Angelina.

Who?! That might solve the mystery about why I couldn't remember him!

I looked behind Angelina and I saw Henry and Blake walking near this direction.

I feel like it's been a while since I've last saw them, and that's a good thing. Blake smiled towards my way, was that directed at me? Probably not, I think too much.

Henry looked a bit surprised while walking to us. So Henry, it looks like you know who Allen is?

Henry and Blake stood in front of Allen and started talking to him. What is this? A gathering of the most handsome boys in my grade?!

"Allen, how come you're here? And your hair..." asked Henry.

"Oh, I'm with Natalie. Her maid was the one who cut my hair" replied Allen.

"Is that so? I actually didn't think you would cut your hair" said Henry.

"Well, growing it until it covers my face wouldn't be good, right?" said Allen.

Why does it feel like they're very close? Ughhh, I'm so curious!

"Natalie, do you want to know their relationship?" Blake asked suddenly.

Woah! Blake, you scared me there! He's definitely a psychic! As expected of the person that'll send me to jail...

"Do you know their relationship?" I replied.

"Yup I do, the truth is...." He said.

"They're..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Brothers!"

"EHHHH?!" I shouted.

THERE IS NO WAY THEY'RE BROTHERS! LAST TIME I WENT TO HIS HOUSE, I DIDN'T SEE ALLEN THERE! PLUS, IN THE COMIC, HENRY WAS AN ONLY CHILD! WHAT IS HAPPENING?!

"Just kidding~" laughed Blake.

I'm about to slice this guy's head off. How dare he. Blake, you're officially promoted to the first person to murder before I get arrested! Waiiit. If I murder him, I might not be arrested?! Just kidding, I'll go to jail for murder, a worse crime than attempted murder.

I glared at him and said, "So do you actually know?"

"Okay okay, sorry. I'm speaking the truth now. Allen and Henry are actually cousins. Allen's mother is Henry's father's sister. Henry and Allen have met each other a few times now. I'm surprised you know Allen" said Blake.

"Allen's in my class and we were partners for a small project" I replied.

Cousin...? T-That reminds me, in the comic, Henry would always be calling someone from Europe. He tells the female lead that it's his cousin. The female lead misunderstood and thought that it was a girl he was calling. So that entire misunderstanding was caused by Allen?

"I see, is he your friend?" asked Blake.

"Y-Yeah? Why are you asking me these questions?" I answered.

"Don't mind me, I'm just curious~" smiled Blake.

I'm concerned. I should put more effort into staying away from him. Hard work will lead to success, or at least that's what the people say.

Learning about how Henry and Allen are cousins refreshed a bit of my memories. Allen never ended up appearing in the comic but he was one of the reasons why Henry and the female lead got closer. I guess he can be called a love cupid haha. Technically, many of those female villainesses in stories are love cupids. Without them, there will be no prince on a white horse coming to save the female lead.

Should I become a love cupid too?
