A Villainess's Struggles

"Oh? Henry, it seems like one of us is going to have to sit with Natalie" said Blake.

"Well, does anyone here want to?" Henry asked.

H-Hey! Why do you guys make it sound like sitting with me for a school year equals to the end of the world?! I'm pretty sure I'm at least decently nice! My face isn't bad except the fact that I have slanted eyes and I don't have weird rumours circulating around about me!

When I stared at the three boys, Allen's eyes met with mine. I looked away immediately. I could faintly hear a sigh.

Sorry Allen, I am not able to call us friends if you say something like that... Maybe I'll muster up the courage to try and talk to you when I'm ready to overcome this awkwardness...

"I'll sit with Natalie, she's my friend" said Allen.

...I might have the chance to restore our relationship quicker than I thought?

"But Allen, I want to sit with you" Henry interrupted.

Yooooo, I might start shipping you guys if Henry's one-sided "friendship" continues...

"Then how's this. Since Henry values Allen more than me now, I'll sit with Natalie. Allen and Henry can sit together. How does that sound?" Blake suggested.

That's a horrible idea. How could a pure and innocent angel like me be stuck with you for a school year? I think there are far better options...

"Well, that sounds fine to me, except for the second part. I'm not particularly valuing Allen over you Blake, don't misunderstand, okay?" Henry replied.

"I guess you got bored of being with me Henry. Our friendship wasn't so deep after all..." Blake sighed.

OH MY GOD, THIS IS HILARIOUS! IT SOUNDS LIKE A FREAKING LOVE STORY HAHAHA! I need some pop and popcorn!

"Dude, you good? We're still young and I'm pretty sure you don't swing that way..." Henry responded.

"I was just kidding, don't take that joke too seriously" laughed Blake.

Henry and Allen sat in the empty seats near mine and Blake sat next to me.

I stared at Blake while he placed his binder on the table.

"Please take care of me for this year" Blake smiled towards me.

Ahhh, the power of a comic character! His smile truly shows his handsomeness. This is so unfair, even my skin doesn't look as smooth as his! Maybe I should ask him for his skincare routines...

I could hear girls talking about how he was such a gentleman, allowing his friends to sit with each other and being so polite towards me.

"Mhm... I'm surprised you agreed to sitting next to me. Y'know, Allen could've just sat next to me" I replied.

"Sitting next to you shouldn't be so bad. Don't degrade yourself so much" said Blake.

Wow, it feels weird hearing such positive things coming from him. He's still very weird though. Not someone I'd like to be around often.

"Okay..." I said in response.

"To be honest, I think this could be a chance for me to prove that I'm not as bad as you think I am. For some reason, I feel like your opinion of me is very negative. Sometimes you randomly look at me like I'm someone you don't want to be around and it seems as if you dislike me. It's kind of strange since you're probably one of the few people that think of me as an annoyance" He said.

W-What the heck... Has he consider a detective as his future profession?

"B-Blake, you seem be misunderstanding something...! W-Why would I think of you like that? You've never done anything bad towards me so why would I dislike you? R-Right?" I tried to explain.

"If you say so. Also, is there something between you and Allen? When you two pass by each other, you'd at least say hello. Earlier, you were completely ignoring him" asked Blake.

"I-It's nothing. It's that moment when your friend says something that somewhat makes it awkward for you to talk to them. I'm sure we will go back to normal soon" I faked a smile.

"If you ever need advice, you can come talk to me" He smiled.

Uhh... I don't know if I can or should? Honestly, I'm sort of confused about the relationship between Allen and Blake. The two of them are only around each other since Henry is there. I've never seen Allen and Blake alone together. This just makes me curious...

"Um, what's the relationship between you and Allen?" I asked.

"Hmm, I won't answer that" He responded.

"What if I tell you why Allen and I are not talking to each other?" I suggested.

"I'm a bit interested in that... Let's talk during lunch since the teacher is about to start class. Anyways, let's get along this year, okay?" Blake smiled.

"Yup..." I replied.

I should really need to start being more careful around Blake since I haven't been acting like a nice person towards him...
