A Villainess's Struggles

Another fun Halloween day! As the great witch, I will fulfill my role to the best of my abilities~

...Is what I'd like to say but...

My class's performance isn't until the afternoon meaning that I have to walk around the school in this suspicious-looking outfit!

I would love to take off what I'm wearing but it'll ruin the makeup I have on...

Sigh... As I walked around in the hallways, I could feel the stares of the students around me.

At the end of the hallway, I noticed May looking around for something. I called out her name and waved at her.

She walked over with her long, blonde wig which was tied into a braid. May was also wearing a light, loose pink dress.

"Hmm, perfect," she said the moment she stopped.

I suddenly felt the urge to hit her but, as a proper lady, it is an act that I must not do.

"Thank you. It seems like the clothes you're wearing do not suit you but that is not a problem for a beauty like you." I smiled in response.

"Anyways, do you know where Kyle is?" May asked.

"Ehhh~ Why are you looking for him?" I grinned.

"W-We have an a-appointment..." She mumbled.

She's already that far?! Speaking of which, isn't Kyle supposed to be one of the love interests for the female lead of the comic? S-So Henry no longer has a love rival?...

"Where are you two going then?" I asked.

"We're going to go see Blake's class's performance along with Henry" May answered.

W-With Henry...? Nevermind, it seems like you two made no progress.

"Is that so? I'll be going to Olivia then, bye~" I said.

"Huh? What do you mean?" May inquired.

"??? What do you mean by what do I mean?" I replied.

"... Olivia and Blake are from the same class..." She said.

"Oh... Yeah, right... Oops," I mumbled.

I completely forgot. Yes... I remember when Anna was really jealous of Olivia.

"Anyways, you're coming right?" May asked.

"By coming you mean..." I sighed.

"You're going to their performance with us" May smiled.

NOOOOO! Third-wheeling along with a Henry!!! AHHH, I'M CURSED!!!!

The performances were held in the auditorium in our school. The two of us met Kyle and Henry at the entrance of the auditorium. Before long, Henry and I were treated as if we didn't exist.

As the stupid love-birds in front of me chirped, I continued walking with a handsome boy who has a horrible personality.

"Where's Allen?" I asked, trying to start a conversation.

"Some older female students took him away" Henry answered.

"H-Huh? What's that supposed to mean...?" I said.

"You'll see" He replied.

The four of us sat in a row. We made it just in time for the next performance, which was Olivia's.

Suddenly, the lights went out and a loud guitar sound was made.

A band performance?!

"KYAHHHHH!!" A loud scream came from the right side of the auditorium.

M-My ears!

Wait?! Is that Anna over there? Maybe that's why I couldn't find her earlier!

Anna was with a crowd of girls who claimed to be part of Blake's fan club. This fan club existed in the comic too.

They all had light sticks as if this were some idol performance.

Everyone in the band was wearing skeleton costumes. Around 30 seconds after the loud guitar sound, the band started playing. There were many types of instruments. The music was a bit messy but it was enjoyable. What I was shocked about was the fact that Olivia played the bass... I never knew that, rather, she never told me! Blake was on the guitar for some reason. He looks more like a piano boy. Actually, nevermind, if I remember correctly, the nickname piano boy goes to Henry as he played the piano in the comic.

Everyone was very hyped for this performance. Not going to lie, I enjoyed it quite a bit.

But the highlight of the day definitely went to the performance after this one...

It was an eighth-grade class and the president of the art club was in this class too. When all the members walked on stage, I noticed someone very familiar.

"Hey, Henry! Isn't that Allen?!" I asked.

"Yes, that is him" Henry responded.

Before I knew it, a bunch of makeup tools were brought out.

"Ladies and gentlemen~ Today, we'll be making this young man into a princess!" One of the females in the class announced.

W-What? Say that again, please?

Allen looked uncomfortable as if he was forced into this. I mean, he probably was.

I ended up watching a group of eighth-graders putting makeup onto an innocent boy. They also prepared a beautiful blue gown for him to wear. To finish it off, they gave him a wig. The end result?

Allen didn't look bad but at the same time, I wanted to laugh. It just didn't suit him.

The arrogant boy next to me was laughing while taking pictures with his phone. That's a different expression from him...

The lovebirds to the other side of me were practising for our performance. I guess one can say, 'love is in the air.'

The last performance before going into lunch was Anna's class. Their show was very fun as well. It was a Halloween pop quiz show where they invited the audience to participate. There were prizes as well. This quiz show could be seen as normal until a normal person sees the prizes.

1st place: A flower garden

2nd place: Branded jewelry and watches.

3rd place: A new computer, a new phone, and a new T.V.

The teachers even approved this... I don't think I'll ever be able to adapt to the "normals" of this world.

I went to the cafeteria after all the morning performances for lunch. All the performances were very enjoyable.

But, I'm starting to feel very nervous. I'm going to screw up, I know it.
