Absolute Stealing

After Alexander and Helen sorted out their thought, they finally accepted the fact that their parent was a wizard. Helen especially didn't believe all of that at first, but with Alexander explanation about magic, she could only choose to believe it.

Now they are in the library and tried to find the Sanskrit language book to learn it. While Helen was searching the book, Alexander held the Magic book and examined it carefully. He finally found something when he tried to use his cheat on the book.

When Alexander pressed the [Introduction to Magic - Rare], another sentence appeared in mid-air [Whether to Assimilate ?]

As Alexander agreed, a massive amount of Magic knowledge appeared inside in mind. From the simple theory of Magic, to how to use the Sling Ring to open a portal. The stream of knowledge continued to appear and stopped after 5 minutes.

As this is only a book, Alexander only possessed the pure information that the book provided. No experience or change imparted into his body like the usual Ability card did. Nevertheless, it was a significant gain for him as it saved him much time to learn it.

Alexander grinned as Magic would be useful for the incoming battlefield. Even though he didn't know how to use it yet, but he would quickly learn it.

Alexander wore the Sling Ring on his left hand while his right hand drew a circle in mid-air. He couldn't hold his curiosity anymore and decided to tried executed the Magic. He quickly followed the method inside his head, but after 5 minutes, there was nothing happened.

Alexander didn't lose his hope as he knew from the movie that an average person would take at least one week just to ignite a spark. He didn't believe he couldn't even do simple magic like this, so he kept trying.

Alexander expectation didn't disappoint him as a little spark appeared in mid-air after another 5 minutes. Before the spark could get bigger, the sound of a book dropped suddenly interrupted him.

"OMG!!! Is that the Magic you were talking about, brother ?" Helen said as a star can be visible in her eyes.

"And how did you know how to do a Magic? I thought you say you didn't know a thing about Magic..."

Alexander speechless as he didn't know how to answer Helen. This time he was careless due to his curiosity. But since Helen bound to knew and learned the Magic later, maybe he could teach her in advance. The knowledge inside his head is already integrated, and it was definitely enough to teach Helen.

"I just comprehended it from the book. Coincidentally, I know a thing or two about Sanskrit. Forgive me for not being clear to you, my little sister. But I thought maybe some surprise would be good for you." Alexander randomly made an excuse.

After Helen heard her brother explanation, she chooses to believe it as that was the only explanation. Then the star immediately appeared back in her eyes as she hugged Alexander's arm and looked at him.

"Then could you teach me ?" Helen asked with great hope. Magic is an entirely new concept for her as she thought it was only a thing of myth and legend. But now her brother itself performed it in front of her eyes, it means that Magic indeed exist.

"I could teach you, and maybe we could train it together too." Even though he just get started in Magic, but Alexander confident he could teach Helen some simple Magic.

Alexander picked up the Sling Ring and said, "This thing is called Sling Ring according to the book. It a tool used to assist us in opening a portal that could teleport us into any destination we had visited or had knowledge of it."

"What you just saw a while ago was an attempt to open the portal, and clearly it was a great start for me." Alexander said as he smugly smiled.

"Teach me! Teach me!" Helen said as she was pulling Alexander sleeve.

"Before we get started, first you must know first what was the Magic itself. So obediently sit down there and listen to your brother lecture." Alexander said as he pointed on the sofa. Helen dejectedly walked to the couch and sat down there.

"According to the book statement, Magic was the practice of harnessing dimensional energies to manipulate one or more aspects of the infinite realities that are present within the Multiverse.

It encompasses many different activities, including astral projection, divination, spell casting, and teleportation, and includes the practices of many cultures and religions, as well as many books and writings from ancient times.

Depending upon the individual, some sorcerers practice their power by specific belief systems, such as Shamanism, Voodoo, Wicca, or any number of other practices from cultures around the world.

It's a pity the book only contained the introduction for the Magic, so it only had a basic Magic. But all of that would be sufficed for us to practice for now. I would look for the rest later. Now wore your Sling Ring and follow my instruction."

Helen immediately wore the Sling Ring and followed Alexander instruction. But after 30 minutes of trying, Helen nearly chooses to give up for now as she didn't succeed even to produce a single spark.

"Don't worry, it's all normal. The reason I was able to learn it much quicker because I understand the content of the book better than you." Alexander comforted Helen. Ten minutes ago, he finally managed to produce a teleportation portal, albeit it was as small as a palm broad.

"Let me tried it again." Helen spirit suddenly raised for an unknown reason. She immediately entered the stance that Alexander taught and drew a circle in mid-air.

A piece of spark appeared, and it immediately boosted Helen confidence up. Alexander a little bit shocked as wasn't this too quick? Was a Grandmaster tier Intelligent also affected the Magic talent? Did it mean all the geniuses had the same amount of Magic talent as Helen did?

Alexander didn't know the answer, but he was already interested in finding it out. He immediately extracted [Intelligent - Grandmaster] from Helen. Anyway, it didn't harm him and Helen, and it also would upgrade his measly Advanced Intelligent.

Alexander was also curious about what would happen if his Intelligence upgraded to the Grandmaster realm. In 30 minutes, all of the questions he had would be answered.

While both Alexander and Helen immersed in their training, Peggy was preparing for her date tonight in another place. She confused what would she wore for tonight as this could be counted as their first date.

Peggy's cheek blushed whenever she was thinking about what would happen tonight. If Alexander suddenly invited her for that, how would she respond it?
