Add A Little Lightning

After being checked over by the school nurse, Lightning went home with Yang, Ruby and Serah in toll. Once they got halfway. Lightning and Serah had to split off to get to their home. While saying goodbye Lightning and Ruby agreed to go and check out the latest copy of "Ammo" on Sunday night at a shop called "From Dust Till Dawn". Its apparently one of the few shops open late on Sunday nights.

Lightning wasn't too interested in the magazine ammo, but she relished the chance to spend time with her friend. It was a nice downtime from her school life.

Lightning woke up at 6 am to train like she always does but unlike her normal routine there was a visible blue screen which read

There was an additional red button underneath the message with the word "continue"

Lightning: 'What the hell is this? It kind of looks like one of the games I've played on my scroll.'

Lightning presses the continue button.

Lightning: 'Maybe I got hit a little too hard yesterday so that's why I'm seeing delusions… But I kind of want to see how far this delusion can go'

Level is the system giving your power level a numerical value.

Aura is unique to this world. Aura is the manifestation of one's soul which can be used in numerous ways for more information on Aura's usability the schools in this world should have that information.

The system has used Mana to reinforce your Aura, so the strength of your Aura has been reinforced and the amount of aura you have is determined by how much Mana you have.

HP stands for Health Points. HP is the numerical value of your life force. If your HP reaches zero you will die. HP is reduced by taking damage, poison and anything else which would normally harm your life.

MP stands for Mana Points. Mana is an impersonal supernatural power which can be transmitted or inherited. The system can use your Mana to activate skills.

Str signifies Strength, strength determines how your physical strength and determines HP regeneration.

End stands for Endurance, endurance is what determines HP. And your physical defence.

Agi stands for Agility, Agility is the value of one's overall speed

Int stands for Intelligence, intelligence increase MP, learning speed and memory

Wis stands for Wisdom, wisdom increases MP regeneration.

Luck is the numerical value of the probability of fortunate things happening to you

Status points can be spent to increase stats. You will receive 5 points every time you level up}

Lightning: Whoa, wasn't actually expecting an answer.

Serah: LIGHT! Are you ready we should have left 5 minutes ago.

Lightning: Crap, I'm late. Close status.

As Lightning said "Close Status" the blue screen disappeared much to Lightning's shock.

After getting dressed Lightning met her sister downstairs and saw level 28 above her head. Lightning was curiously looking at it. While Serah thought her sister was admiring her and blushed.

Serah: You ready Light?

Light: Huh... Yea lets go.

After they returned home, Lightning was greeted by the pleasant surprise of having Ruby and Yang along with her mother Claire there to have an early morning surprise party. Yang and Serah both need to pack and get ready to go to Beacon on Monday(Today is Saturday), so they don't have much time.

Once everyone went home Lightning was laying on her bed, she was happy that she got to spend time with her 4 favourite people but when she saw Ruby's level at 21, it disheartened her. Even if she didn't believe this "game" was real. It was still upsetting to have the reality of her lack of talent reminded every time she looked at her friends.

Lightning: I should just sleep hopefully this is all over when I wake up.

*2 hours later*

Lightning wakes up stretching and gets dressed again decided to see if it was all over.

Lightning: Status

The blue screen reappears with her status much to her shock her agility increased. She did have the notification while jogging but she decided to ignore it.

Lightning: Could this be my semblance?

Lightning: What?! I've been training for years to unlock it but it unlocked just like that?!

[Manipulation] – Level 1 – Ability to Manipulate Feelings, sensations and emotions of yourself and others. The higher the level the stronger the skill becomes.

Lightning: So how do I use it?

Lightning places her hand over heart and wills her semblance to boost her happiness.

The sudden release of a mass amount of dopamine leaves Lightning in an intoxicated high. Feeling like she may become addicted to this sensation she quickly reduces the amount of happiness to an average level.

Lightning:(While Panting) That was way too dangerous! No drug could match that high.
