Chapter 7: I’ll take care of everything.

Xu Zhun was shaking with repressed anger.

It was the first time he had seen such a shameless client in all his working life.

He Chengyang was able to humiliate him easily because he loved the man.

But it still didn’t mean that anybody could just go and insult him.

Xu Zhun was so angry that he grabbed the glass of water on the table and threw it at Manager Li: “Wash your dirty mouth!”

Manager Li’s eyes were wide with rage and he shouted, “How dare you splash me! “

“I don’t need the contract! Get the hell out of here!”

Xu Zhun’s scolding provoked the manager enough to turn green and he raised his fist to hit Xu Zhun.

Suddenly, a hand steadily gripped Manager Li’s wrist.

“Who the fuck is meddling in my affairs!”

Manager Li looked up viciously and met the man’s sharp, knife-like gaze, and he shuddered in fear, his anger instantly reduced by half.

“You …… Who are you?”

He Chengyang was imposing and stood in front of Manager Li like a towering mountain.

Dark shadows crept in his downcast eyes, and his handsome face was now clouded with a gloomy aura.

Realizing that the man in front of him was not to be messed with, Manager Li was just about to break free when He Chengyang yanked him by the wrist, lifted him up from his seat and kicked him in the chest.

He Chengyang grew up practicing sportive boxing and was very good at Kung Fu. That kick was particularly strong and Manager Li fell to the ground like a tattered rag.

He clutched his stomach and a whimpering cry of pain escaped his throat as he rolled on the ground.

Xu Zhun was dumbfounded and looked at the man who suddenly appeared in front of him with a blanched face.

He Chengyang looked back at him, his expression dark and sullen: “Are you stupid? He touched you and you let him do as he pleased? Are you that cheap?”

He was passing by the café when he saw Xu Zhun and a man at a table. He couldn’t resist pausing to look and when he saw Xu Zhun being fondled, he couldn’t restrain himself any longer. He rushed into the café and saw the man about to hit Xu Zhun.

No one is allowed to touch his person!

Even after scolding Xu Zhun, He Chengyang felt no relief and kicked manager Li a few more times.

Everyone in the room could hear the sound of bones snapping, but seeing the fierce expression on He Chengyang’s face, no one dared to come forward to stop him.

After beating the man and venting his anger, He Chengyang dialed the police station: “I want to call the police! Someone is making indecent assault threats! The address is at the XX Road Café.”

It didn’t take long for the police to arrive.

He Chengyang took Xu Zhun’s arm and pulled him in front of him, “Tell me exactly what happened!”

“I ……” Xu Zhun hesitated.

He could not open his mouth in front of so many people saying that he had been fondled by a man.

“Speak!” He Chengyang snapped out, “I’ll take care of it if there is something wrong.”

He Chengyang’s tone was aggressive, but it made Xu Zhun feel somehow safe.

Because of the words “I’ll take care of it”, he had the courage to speak up and explain what had just happened.

Manager Li was carried off to the ambulance and He Chengyang and Xu Zhun went to the police station.

The two gave their statements at the police station and He Chengyang called his lawyer to ensure that he would sue Manager Li.

It was only in the mid-afternoon that He Chengyang and Xu Zhun left the police station.

Last night they had a disastrous encounter, and today He Chengyang ran into him being molested by Manager Li, Xu Zhun was a bit at a loss as to how to face the man beside him, he hung his head and slowly followed behind He Chengyang.

His wrist was suddenly yanked and He Chengyang pulled Xu Zhun into a black car parked at the side of the road.

The car door slammed shut and Xu Zhun’s shoulders were clasped in the man’s large, broad palms, his body sinking into the leather seat.

He Chengyang’s dark and unusually cold eyes were frankly betraying his anger. “Are you that cheap that you’ll willingly give yourself to whoever pays you?”
