Another Life As Older Brother

We spend the night at the inn close to Daedalus Street while renting several rooms around us to avoid being heard since different from the inn at Melen where the whole floor is one giant room.

This one is a normal inn with a lot of room on one floor. I'm sitting there on the bed, waiting for the other to return while feeling nothing for killing people.

I close my eyes for a minute before feeling presence entering the room in silence. "Stop being sneaky, Ryuu." I said while opening my eyes to her smiling face.

"Where is the other?" I asked before releasing my breath slowly. "Downstairs, beating some people for flirting with them. Especially, Bache. We need to hold her down after several hits before she started using poison on them." Ryuu said while giggling.

"So that's what I'm hearing." I said while not long after that. Everyone started entering the room one by one. "Have you got the information about war games?" I asked after everyone enter the room with a smile that I felt suspicious about.

"Of course, It's pretty easy since everyone been talking about it everywhere because of the rareness of War Game. It's been initiated by Apollo-sama at his party.

The War Game started tomorrow in high noon at the abandoned fortress in the west." Revis said in a happy manner. "Alright, Revis. Spit it out." I said without much more thinking and guessing.

"Ehehe.. Apparently, people start opening bet places on us. The ratio of us winning is actually higher since the news of our high level but for some quick information gatherer.

They put the ratio on us winning so low since the news that Apollo Familia attacked Hestia Familia without any retaliate from us. Which made them think, the rumor about our level is been falsified." Revis said while giggling and daydreaming by herself.

"Then let me guess. All of you bet your money?" I said while everyone started looking away from me except Haruhime, Bache, and Ryuu. "I have full confidence in you, Ageas." Bache said with a smile.

"Me.. Me too.." Haruhime said while pumping her fists with a cheering pose which caused everyone to laugh at her. "Hahaha... Thank you, Haruhime, Bache. Anyway, Thankfully I asked them to find some temporary place. I hope that Goddess and my brother is fine.

Let's rest. Tomorrow we have a big day to crush them." I said before resting alone while the girls, as always talking with each other before went to bed.

The sun isn't even up yet. All of us already standing on the city wall, watching people come and go to the city gate. There's someone that caught my attention.

Wearing a uniform with sun and a bow symbol on his c.h.e.s.t. "Ryuu." I said while she nodded at me and start running down the wall.

"Bache, Samira, Lena. All of you stay put in the city. Revis, Aisha, and Haruhime come with me." I said while walking to the gate following Ryuu from behind.

We enter the wood outside the city after Ryuu caught the man. As always, we strapped him to a tree before waiting for him to wake up. "Nnnggg... What.. Happen?" He asked while started opening his eyes.

"So, you're from Apollo Familia. Isn't it too late for you to go to the fortress right now? What are you..." Before I even finished my word, I heard his mumbling which stopped my words from coming out.

"That.. voice.. Ageas..-sama.." He said weakly and everyone turned silent. "Who.. Are you?" I asked while opening my cloak.

After removing it, he lifted his head and stare at me before his eyes dilated "Ageas-sama!! You have returned!! Lili had been worried that we might lose this war." He said which made me look at him closer.

"Lili?" I asked after confirming that my eyes not playing a trick on me. "Ah! Wait a second. Cinder Ella." He said while his body started glowing and turned into a girl.

"Li.. Lili!!??" I said before releasing her from the rope since not many people that I have been interacting with and had this kind of magic.

"Ageas-sama!! It's an emergency. Apollo Familia had.." She quickly shouted at me without even care that we had just tied her up.

"It's okay, Lili. I heard about the situation. We are just about to went to the War place. How is the situation inside the town?" I said stopping her while everyone started unraveling their cloak.

She started calming down "Hestia-sama had been attacked for refusing the War Game since she felt the situation is too coincidentally with the departure from all of you." She said while looking around.

"Eventually, she accepted the War Game which then led to me, Welf-san, and Mikoto-san converting into Hestia Familia since no sign that all of you are returning." She continued her words.

"Mikoto? Ah! The girl that goes crazy when we found a hot spring that made me knock her out so we can go back faster to the surface." I said after realizing the black samurai girl from Takemikazuchi Familia.

"Then, what else?" I asked her. "Bell-sama had been training non-stop with Ais-san from Loki Familia, together with Tiona-san, too." Lili said and started explaining every detail.

"I see... All of you have been working hard." I said and smile softly while patting her head. "I will give all of you the stage. Tell the other to be ready when I open the stage for all of you. Don't disappoint me. I also didn't like being watched." I said to Lili before leaving her and she charged her way out looking for Bell and the other.

We waited for the sun and for the game to begin. Lili brought Bell and the other later on to us. "Nii-san!! You are back!!" He said while hugging me.

"Haha.. Alright, that's enough Bell." I said laughing lightly while looking at two other people behind him. "Thank you for trying to protect our home. Now it's also your home." I said to Welf and Mikoto.

"Ahaha.. We will try our best to win this war." Welf said while smiling at me. "Mm! Me too. I have been thankful enough for all of you to forgive me and my friends back then. Now, let me pay it back to you guys." Mikoto said while holding her katana.

"And also, It might be too late for me but thank you, Ageas-sama... For taking care of Haruhime." Mikoto said after her short reunion with Haruhime after a long time.

"Alright then. The reunion could wait, with the victory that we will bring back home. Both of you had all the time to chat together. Now, Let's move." I said after looking at the sun that almost at its highest point.
