Beyond The World Plan

The sun already set, but no one come out from the cave. Not long after that, there is a sound of rocks falling.

"We must get in now!" (Lily)

"No, if we go there maybe it will be worse. They are probably fighting a strong enemy and get killed. We can't do anything if the enemy is able to kill them. We must go back and report it tomorrow, it will be dangerous if we go tonight."

I can't hold it, something bad will be happen tonight. If we not go back, I doubt if the remained adventurer and soldier can protect the town clearly. But of course I worry too about Ray, I believe he is in the trouble now.

"If you do not want to go, then I alone who will get in. Don't try to stop me!" (Lily)

"Wa-wait!"

The moment I went in the cave, the group before come out the cave. They have many wound and some of them is nearly dead. However, I not see Ray anywhere.

"Where is Ray?" (Lily)

The leader is come to speak up.

"He is left behind to prevent Crush trapped all of us inside." (Gard)

Crush, I already have a hunch he is involved in this problem. Probably Ray already know this and sacrifying himself to stop it. That guy, I already told him to not endanger himself.

"Then we must help him." (Lily)

However he is shaking his head left and right.

"It's useless. The way there is blocked and he want to say something to you." (Gard)

He is already have a last word!? This is worse, what will I do if he is no longer in this world?

Without I notice my tears start to drop. With a tremble voice I asked him.

"What is it?" (Lily)

"He said 'Take a rest and join the party.'"(Gard)

I surprise with his last word. It isn't something the last word is supposed to heared. I try to grind my gear. He always full of mistery. No one can tell what is in his mind except for him self.

'Take rest and join the party'? He is try to say something while hide it so Crush doesn't know what it means. What is the "rest" part means. Something like time or place. At that time I know what it means. It is the simplest thing that can come up when try to make a code. Then, "join the party" means-

"We must head back to town right now and protect it!" (Lily)

Not knowing what I trying to tell, everyone make a confused face.

"What you suddenly say? Is something is gonna happen in the town."

A random guy ask me.

"Ray's last word is a code to get back there. There is something that the guildmaster hide it from you all. I will explain it while we getting there." (Lily)

And with that we go to the town in the darkness of night. Thanks to my sense, I can tell where is the town. I explain everything what we talked with Zack three days ago. Everyone surprise knowing what is going to happen.

"Impossible! To think someone is going to destroy the town." (Gard)

"To make it looks like an accident then he is gonna do everything." (Lily)

"Then how about Ray?" (Gard)

That think I do not know. It looks like impossible for normal person but I trust him.

"I believe we will meet him there." (Lily)

With a puzzle face, they are fell in silent. Only sound of branch and brush can be heard. I understand your word and I believe you wait there, Ray. Please let it be true.

This night, everyone from academy is guarding the town gate. From the information we got from the guild, some monster will attacking the town and destroy it. The academy is sending all teacher and the best student to protect the town including me.

Since that incident, I continously mistaken for killing dozens of high orcs. Everyone thinks that I the one who killed them, however I know it wasn't me. The magic I chant is casted properly but the magic itself is not mine.

Someone using a higher magic than mine unknownly at the same time my magic is casted. The person I can thought as the one who casted it is the white haired child that saying himself from the guild.

His ability controlling magic while confronting enemy directly is unexpected. The only person who can do that is the Hero from the other world that will be summoned in two years and will be trained under the royal knight directly. The thing like that is only able to do by the hero and no one can do that. Even for the best Royal Knight is impossible to do. How can that boy do that?

And there is one brown haired wolfkin girl who has a great swordsmanship that I never see that before. Her sword move is sync with her movement, such a beauty swordsmanship that no one can compare it with any swordsmanship in this world. The sword she uses is like the legendary heroes like to use. The same curved sword that come from the Hero's world, a 'Katana'.

That is a national treasure weapon that only can be found inside the castle and no one able to wield it from the first time that sword is introduced in this world except the hero himself. How can she have it and how can she learned to wield it. That two childs is surely not an ordinary person.

While drown in my mind someone goes inside my room and called me.

"Is something in your mind, Violet-sama?"

The one who called me is a knight with red hair that the one who guarding me and saw what happen there. His name is Franz, a captain for the knight who is become my guardian since I was a child.

"Nothing, I just remembered what happen that time while looking the situation that more or less same like it. Do you already have informarion about that childs?" (Violet)

I curious with their Identity so I make Franz go to the guild to get their information. Hewever when we asked to the  guild, they not having a word about them. Even we said it's my order but they still choose to not saying it because the risk that will happen to them if they told us.

"Yes. According to the adventurer, the child with white hair named Ray. He is the only survivor left from his home village after the village is destroyed by a monster. After that he lived in the forest and train himself there." (Franz)

So all of that power is pure from his self-training? Just what kind of training he does and what make him to train that hard. If he wants revenge to that momster?

"Then how about the girl?" (Violet)

"She is cursed and sold by her own village. While in the way to the slave market, the carriage she ride on was destroyed because of monster attack and she was saved by Ray. He cured the curse on her and together live on the forest for three years before they move here." (Franz)

That means he already has high power when he still ten?

"Do you know the curse name?" (Violet)

He shakes his head. That means they is not have any intention to make theirselves popular and have high wealth by working for nobles.

"Sorry, but it is almost time for us to go Violet-sama." (Franz)

That reminds me what situation we are in. I nod and went to the gate.

The moon is almost on top of head but still nothing come.

"*sigh* Where is them? Is it just kind of pranks"

One of the student is let a sigh since nothing happen till now. Suddenly, something move out from the forest. We prepare for battle. We waiting until it cleared who it is. They are giving a signal that they are not an enemy. It is one of the subjugation group from the guild. Some of them have their body full of wound and they are all exhausted.

There is one face among them that I know. The brown-haired wolf girl with a strong red eyes. Like nothing happen after passing the adventurer into medic, she ran to the town. Whar is sehe trying to do?

Some of us who can use <Healing> type spell is trying to heal them and asking what happen. The leader told that there is a traitor in his group and he is suspicious that the traitor not only one in his group and there is a traitor too in other group.

The traitor's objective to lure the time so the adventurers will not get back at the right time to town. When we asked him who is the one that knowing first about the traitor, he said it is Ray and right now he is in battle with the traitor alone.

When the story heared to my ear, I can not believe it. Someone trying to destroy this town. What kind of hatred the culprit have toward this town. When still thinking about it, someone giving an alert.

"Enemy detected!! They are twenty minotaurs approaching here with high speed."

Twenty!? That is too much. Our number not enough for fight them. For battling a minotaur is needed a tem with around ten people of B-Rank adventurer since their movement is high and they can use magic too. Our number is around 150 peoples. This is a hopeless situation. But, we must fight to protecting the town.

Everyone prepare themselves for battle, picking up their weapon and split into group of ten. With our short numbered, we must hold them to not damaging the town even it cost our live.

"That's weird."

"Huh?"

"What's wrong?"

"Five of them stop moving. Only fifteen of them is coming here."

What happen? Suddenly some of them stop approaching here is weird. It is already a good news, still it is too weird.

"Again!! Three of them stop moving here. Only twelve left that running here."

"Are you sure?"

"That is nothing wrong, I [Detect] the same thing too."

The number decreased again. There are a group that specialized on detecting enemy here. The can detect enemy in range of 3 kilometers. And they are all saying the same.

"Focus detecting the number of enemy that will reach here."

The captain give an order to only focused on the number that will we fought.

"Another five was stopped. Only seven of them will reach the town!"

The number decreased again. We only fight seven of twenty that originally come here. Everyone wondering what happen but there is no time for it. The minotaurs already can be seen.

"Prepare to fight!!!"

Everyone rise their weapon and charge to them. The mino is split up to confront us. The sound of iron, arrow, and magic can be heard. The battle has just began.

"You sure have guts to play with me, huh." (Crush)

"Well as long as I am here you can't go anywhere." (Ray)

In this cave, a battle between me and Crush happen. I checked Crush's status and compare it with me.

I still have more advantage than him. But I need to consider the backlash of the recovery potion's effect. I still got 1 minutes 32 seconds to go, but for safety I take another bottle. I must end this before my 5 minutes gone.

When I drinking another bottle he attack me. Thanks to his low speed, I evade it easily. I collect my mana on my hand.

"Grasp the power of flame and burn! [Hell Fist]!" (Ray)

The blue flame appear on my right hand since my dagger was thrown off my hand. Let's make it quick!

I rush to him and he is already prepare his shield. I punch it and the temperature of his shield raise significantly. It's absolutely high heat but he can endure it. He take a small step behind.

I take the freeze potion with my left hand from [Dimension Storage] bag and throw it to his shield. The shield temperature suddenly went down and frozen in ice. Shocked with his shield state he tried to leap backward. Before he does that I already prepare another punch for his shield. The ice broken and blow him away.

The temperature rose again. I jumped to him and throw another potion. The shield frozen again and before he can react I already launch another punch to it. Again, he thrown back because the impact and I repeat that pattern for three more times.

Finally, the shield is broken and nothing can guard him.

"This will be the end!" (Ray)

His face is in despair as I approach him. He may be a Protector but it's also important to raise his speed. That's the lesson he must take if he was able to survive somehow. I prepare my fist and punch him.

Unexpectedly, something is blocking my attack and I am thrown backand hit the wall. The cave started shaking and going to ruin. The rock from ceiling is dropping.

"Hahahahaha.....pathetic! You think you already win huh. Thanks to this bracelet I can survive from the fatal blow once." (Crush)

That bracelet is <Holy Guard Bracelet>, when a high damage is dealt, it absolutely protect you and broke after the effect is used. I make a grin on my face.

"Then it means you not having any trump card left." (Ray)

I mock him and his anger raised up. The cave is shaken more. More rock is falling from above and no longer than this, the cave is collapsing. But suddenly he laugh.

"Hahaha! Well, at least you will accompany me to hell!" (Crush)

"Pffft.... Hahahahahahaha..." (Ray)

I can not hold my laugh any more. His face is suddenly puzzled along my laugh. With some evil grin I face him.

"If I know I gonna die here then I wouldn't want to fight you. The only one is going to die is you." (Ray)

His face is became pale. He is no longer have smile in his face. All I can see in his face is despair, a true despair that no longer have any hope. My body is gradually fading turn into a dark mist.

"J-just who the hell are you!?" (Crush)

"Don't you know already? I am Ray, the one who can overcome the fate." (Ray)

He drop his leg to ground and have a kneeling position.

"One more thing to make sure you will not come back alive. Burst into dust! [Hell Blast]!" (Ray)

Along with the blue flame explosion, my body is completely turned into dark mist. The room finally collapse into ruin and Crush's body is buried in them.

"Now I wonder what I am doing now." (Ray)
