Beyond The World Plan

We get in position when orc king stood up and approaching his minions. Crush use [Provoke] to get the king's attention. The king turn around to Crush position with high speed.

The king swing his club and we are all got hit and thrown back hitting the wall. Even Crush unable to hold it eith his shield. He is approach us, Crush stand up and once again [Provoke] him and luring him away from us.

"Tch, can't be help!" (Ray)

I stood up a while after Crush lure him. My mouth spilling bloods. Damn, I took too much damage. Looking my companion, they are unconscious after hitting the wall. This room is big but not enough for three battle.

"Crush! Lure him away from here! This room cannot contain three battles at once!" (Ray)

He nods and search another room while avoiding king's attack. I felt some mana approach me, it's a fireball again. Heh, he still can fight back even two person fighting him now.

"Gotcha! <Transform Art> [Spell Edit]!" (Ray)

Before too close from me, I 'edit' a bit his spell chant to switch the target to the orc king. Because of that the fireball change the direction to it and hit. He cannot believe his eye, he missed me.

"Well, I am not interested in you now. So don't disrupt me!" (Ray)

I now focus on the orc king, he is fell down because the fireball before. He turn his hostility to the man before. The king now rushing to him. It's weird, if he really the one who control it then monster cannot bring their hostility to him.

Before everyone aware the strange behavior, Crush [Provoke] it. Seems like he cannot find another room that big enough for fight. Fortunately, Gard's squad has done fighting the rest orcs.

"Ray, you okay?" (Gard)

"Is that necessary thing to ask?" (Ray)

I gave a none expression to him.

"Sorry, then rest easy. We will take care it." (Gard)

"No need for me. Those two is the one need help. I still can fight." (Ray)

I take a potion from my bag and drink it then I use <Spirit's eye> on myself.

Good, I leveled up. The mass killing from [Hell Flame] is really worth it. I can say that it's still safe for me to fight. Looking my condition once again he gave a nod.

"How long I need to hold it?" (Crush)

"We're coming!" (Gard)

We rush to him and start fighting the king. Crush no longer can hold his attention while we are attacking. The king once again swing his club. We are hold our movement but still pushed back because it's wind. I wonder how strong this guy. I analyze it.

Good, at least his endurance is low. We can easily dealing damage to it. His mana is low too, it can not survive if we make it a long battle. However, we need to make it quick and head back to town. We need to protect the town too after all.

"[Double Slash]!" (Gard)

We continue to attacking him. But with his amount HP, it will take too much time. I can not do anymore reckless action, such a troublesome.

We attacking it continously until his HP is halved. To take his down to this state already cost too much time. I do not know is this night already.

"We take down the man!"

"Good, come help us." (Crush)

At this right moment something strange happen. The behaviour of the king suddenly change. His movement, his technique, and his attack is totally change.

"What happen? His action is different from before!"

"Is that because the master is killed?"

"Don't let down your guard and keep attack him!" (Gard)

GOAAAAAAAAAGHHHHH!!!

His swing around his club and thrown everyone far enough from him. The cave was shaken because his scream. Not good, he really likes a raid boss monster. More danger will come the more his HP down!

"Crap, what the hell is happen?" (Crush)

He manage to block it even so he also pushed back by him. Everyone in this room is collapse because it attacks before.

「His power is totally different from before." (Crush)

Really? I check it again with my <Spirit's Eye>, nothing change. So what is happening? I check Crush and found that he is currently converting his armor to power, that means he lowering his guard. Even like that, this is still not a good thing.

I still lay down on the floor even I can't stand up now. For a 13 years old child, this is a fatal impact. I will stay like this for a little longer.

And for everyone beside me is already taken position to attacking again. However, they can't get closer because the clubs swing make an area attack.

"Tsk, this is bad. We not have an archer or mage. We cannot go on like this. Let's retreat for now!" (Gard)

At this moment I began to stand up.

"Are you guys forget about me?" (Ray)

I taking a potion in my bag and drink it. Every attention goes to me. What I drink not more than a normal potion in the outside. What inside is my own potion with recovery effect that stor in my [Dimension Storage], what a perfect disguise.

"That's right, he is a Magic Warrior, isn't it? that means you can use magic like a mage right?"

One of them begin to aware about my job. I already thinking for this situation.

"But, are you okay Ray? You do not have to force yourself." (Gard)

"Don't worry, I already drink a potion earlier. I will be okay." (Ray)

With a nod he give a command.

"Distract the orc king and make a time for Ray cast his magic! This gonna be a long fight so we gonna attack him alternately!" (Gard)

"Roger!"

Everyone agreed with Gard's plan and only one who looks annoyed, that is Crush. Seems like it not work like he is planning before. He already know my power and want to make me down first, but sorry I cannot do that.

With spirit they began to attack the king. They can approach him this time because like the game, there is cooldown time for him goes rampage again. I will wait till that time in the safe area that I marked.

I count the time for him start swinging his club again. 87....88....89...90! He began to rampage again and I have completely set up my magic too.

"Please distract him now! [Flame Radiance] [Ice Lance]!" (Ray)

Every magic goes at the same time. While they are attacking it before, I made a casted magic to attack it continously until I stop it. It's drain my mana harshly bit thanks to recovery potion before I will not exhausted because empty mana. This potion effect will last for 5 minute. That means, I can do this up to three times with one potion.

Other than that, the damage for two opposite element continously will be doubled. A sudden chang temperature from the cold ice to heat fire is extremely dangerous for body, if it not strong enough then it will be die instantly.

Thanks to <Spirit's Eye> I know how much his endurance. This will be sure make alot of damage even so his physical is high too.

After thirty second, he stop his movement. I see...so it definetely like a game. It has his own attack pattern like a boss dungeon normally. Rampage every 90 seconds and will continue for 30 seconds. Then because his exhaustion it will stop for 10 seconds to regain his energy and start attacking again.

Such a simple movement like a low level boss in the game. I thought with his level at 55, he will be more dangerous than this. I have a small grin when thinking of it.

Allright time to stop my magic and let the front line do as they like. I have made a face of exhaustion of my magic like nearly collapsed and began take mana potion in my bag and drink it.

Once again, Crush's expressions is annoyed with me. Wait, it's a little different than before. Oh right, that's an angry expressions he have. Now, I wonder how long you can hold your surprise looking at this reality that beyond your expectation. I unconsciously make a big grin on my face like enjoying it so much.

Sound of battle keep hearing in the cave after approximately an hour since we begin attacking the orc king. No trace of stop there.

The king still making a loud voice while the adventurer making the sound of swords. This is the crucial moment for conclude who is the winner. The king's HP keep going down while the adventurer is already exhausted.

"A little more, we will make it!" (Gard)

Far enough from the frontline, I still cast my magic armed and ready to go. Another ninety seconds has passed, this is the time I attacking with my magic.

"Let it be the last blow! [Flame Radiance] [Ice Lance]!" (Ray)

Suddenly I felt a strong pain from my body. Damn, the recovery potion is making the backlash. Something like making your body fully recovered when having a bad injured is impossible without a cost. I take another recovery potion from [Dimension Storage] in my bag and drink it. I can not let myself down here or it will be out of my plan.

Not long after that, it stops his movement, losing his power and drop his body on the ground. I stop my magic and the other is make a silence. Neither one move from their position nor lowering their guard, keeping for any probability. Long enough time has passed and still nothing change.

"We did it.... We succeded our quest, we killed the Orc King!!!" (Gard)

Everyone yelling on their victory. No one believe we can win after our dire situation.

"We have killed the king and the one who control it. Now let's head back to the town." (Gard)

With high spirit they began to leave this place. Unfortunately, there is one thing is wrong.

"He is not the master." (Ray)

I speak up in low voice but still can be heard by the other.

"Wh-what do you mean?" (Crush)

In a nervous face, Crush asked me.

"I can feel someone's mana in the air come out from it body but, this mana not belong to him." (Ray)

"You can prescence mana?" (Gard)

Surprised with I said, they start to lose their spirit. There is nothing wrong about it, after a long battle that drain their energy and then another battle come up suddenly is a very bad thing.

"It's a basic if you are a mage and its necessary for me with the job of Magic Warrior. But don't worry, the master isn't here either." (Ray)

Everyone sigh in relief knowing they can rest peacefully after this battle.

"However, someone among us is trying to kill us here and leaving us. Unfortunately for him, because he can't do that after taking the most needed position that will making a suspicion if he is suddenly missing." (Ray)

Again, everyone is surprised with my word.

"That's mean, there is a traitor here!?" (Gard)

"Correct, he is the one who maybe knows the culprit and join them since maybe the reward is bigger too." (Ray)

The atmosphere is turning to high pressure. No one making a sound, everyone listening to me.

"I already know who it is. He is the one who on purpose make the orcs knowing our position with light. The one who made the orcs attacked us and made us nearly death surrounded by orcs but failed because of me. The one who make us believe we can't win and trying to make us give up and retreat. Luring the time so we can't go back to town immediately. Such a nice trick but failed because one of us can turning the fate and now have a despair in his face because one of us is aware all of that. So bad everything is ruined isn't it?" (Ray)

At this time, everyone is know who it is and turning their face on him. The one who start this disaster with a single light.

Everything turn well like he is predict. Out of option, he is pick his shield and rushing to us.

"[Shield Thrust]!" (Crush)

"[Freeze]!" (Ray)

Knowing this will happen, I froze his feet before he is close enough to wound us with his attack.

"Don't get ahead yourself!! [Heavy Blow]!" (Crush)

Suddenly, the cave is shaking and start to collapse. Everyone take their swords out initiating ti attack him. Is top them at that moment.

"Everyone get out from here!! The entrance will be blocked if you not get out from here. I am the one who will take him down!" (Ray)

"Then I will help!" (Gard)

"No!! You just will be a burden here with your condition now. Don't worry about me, I will be all right. Tell Lily to take rest and join the party!" (Ray)

Gard start to compare his body condition with me. Of course my condition is better than him. He give a nod and touch my shoulder.

"Promise me you will be safe. I am counting on you!" (Gard)

I nod him. Aware of this situation, they are leaving us alone. Not long after they are leaving, the exit is now completely blocked. Crush manage to get out from my Ice with crack from his skill. I put a grin on my face to him.

"Now Crush, let's have our game on!" (Ray)
