Beyond The World Plan

In high speed, we are rushing to the source. Under the light of moon, we can see one shadow stood there. He has began summoning monsters again.

"There it is!" (Ray)

Ray hurriedly take his bow and shoot him.

"What!?" (Lily)

Surprisingly he can avoid that attack. His arrow is quick and with our distant now it impossible to evade. He leaps to the sky and landing smoothly to ground.

Who is it? It's obvious that it is not a normal creature that can be fought easily. I can feel a very strong power that it is stronger than me. My body unconsciously shakes because of it.

However Ray with calm approaching it. His bow just now turning into light particle and disappear. The summoner itself using a long black robe and his face is covered with it.

Ray draw his dagger from his side. In a second he is already in it backs and throw his dagger. Again, it evade it without an effort, while Ray's dagger is stuck at the three behind me.

Right now the man is turning his face to Ray. I hurriedly using [Airdash] and slash him at his head. However he stop my sword only with his hand.

"Impossible!.... just what are you...." (Lily)

Ray send his kick to my sword and he once again leaping to the right side. His power is no match for me, maybe Ray too is no match for him. However Ray just throw a grin while knowing the situation we are in.

"As expected of the Demon Race." (Ray)

Just what he is saying? Demon!? At that moment I realize the hood that covered him is cut down. Under the hood there are a face with horns on his head. His face right now is smiling and not long after that he start lughing.

"HAHAHAHAHA.... So the one who killed the minotaurs easily is not more than two person? More of it, one of them is no more than human child. Hahahahaha... how funny to thinks there is human beside Heroes who can do it."

Along with his voice, a strong pressure come. It intimidate me that makes my body tremble and can't move a single finger. I take a glance at Ray but surprisingly he seems like not affected to it.

"Just now using [Intimidation] to make our spirit down? Heh, such a classic method you use." (Ray)

His grin got bigger since a moment ago. This is bad, he started to pick interested to him.

"Whaaaat!?"

"I mean, is that the only thing you guys have? The stronger one is always using that to threaten his prey. Sorry but... that method is not effective to me." (Ray)

He purposely provoked him. This is bad habit that Ray have. Whenever he got interest with something, he make a big grin and make whoever he pick a fight use his full power.

I live with him more than three years. I already remember every habit he has. One of his bad habit.

One day when went home to the cave after hunted for food, we accidentally met with a tempest wolf. It is the ruler of fang wolf that time and currently crossing our territory.

Yeah, when it come to wild life all you have to concern was being stronger than any creature around where we live in. Making a territory is a prove that you are the stronger living being in that area. If someone crossed it then he thought he was stronger and must pick a fight with the owner.

I not have much confident on myself that time. I still training with Ray and I am not as strong like now. However I can presence a strong power that can threatened my life. Ray put an angry face that time and wanted to pick a fight with it.

I said to him that it is much stronger than he thought. That's true that he killed a flare wolf that also a ruler when he save me. But that because he was froze it and make it in a weak state.

This time, this kind of wolf is stronger than last ruler. It can not be weakened by ice so I tried to stop him. However, he put a big grin in his face and saying, "Doesn't it better? I can measure my power just now.".

He pushed me back and ordered me to wait behind. He fought the wolf and provoke it so the wolf was using his full power. It was so dangerous and Ray nearly death there.

Fortunately for him, he won the battle and the our home is saved. But, he must healed him self for a month and a week between it he can't do a thing.

I want to stop him right now but it is useless. When he is determined something, nothing can change his mind except the reality. With his face he is making right now, it is already too late.

Suddenly, a light is coming from the demon's side. It was a summoning circle. He finished it already? But when?

Still absentminded with reality, sound of demon's laugh is can be heard again.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!... Interisting but it's already too late. If you want to prevent me summon this then you have failed. NOW APPEAR THE STRONGER MONSTER IN MY COLLECTION!!!!"

From that circle comes a monster with head of lion and goat also with a tail of snake. It is chimera, an A-Rank monster that can destroy a single town by himself.

The chimera just now is rushing to the town. This is bad, the town will be destroyed and the culprit's objective to killed the princess without get caught is fulfilled.

"Now with my work here is complete, I excused myself. Have fun with it."

The demon is trying to run away from here. From his back appeared a hole. He take a step into it that seems connected to the place we don't know.

However, before he can get into the hole, it is disappeared. Not believing his eyes, he try to make it again but once again it disappeard.

Dumbfounded with it, he turn his glance to us. He saw Ray that already thrusts his hand with a big grin from before.

"Oh no, don't try to get away from here." (Ray)

He is looks angry with him. He can not believe what Ray did and never think that such a spell is exist. A spell that can remove every single spell if you know what kind of spell it is [Spell Breaker].

He nearly true but that was not a spell. That is an art that developed by himself. An art that can cancel a spell that has been casted by disordering the chant that written on it, <Transform Art> [Spell Vanisher].

Not concerning what kind of spell is it or how strong the spell is it, just by randomize the spelling of chant then it is enough to remove the spell. That was what Ray said when I asked how he can remove my slave collar with slave spell in it.

"You..... How can a lawly human child like you can use such a high magic that impossible to human, [Spell Breaker]!?"

"Hey, stop telling a nonsense when I have my interest in you. All you can do now is fight me. Don't you ever think to run away." (Ray)

He is right, it is not that spell so it is a nonsense. Although you have said that. That spell is impossible for human to use it.

Even now he forced to fight with Ray, still he is mad now, you know? Good grief Ray, I hope with your wish fulfilled, you mustn't die yet. No, you prohibited to dead.

"I will help you." (Lily)

I offering my help since it is pointless to stop it.

"No need for that, now go back to town and kill the chimera!" (Ray)

I nodded my head, put back my katana on it sheath and prepare to running. However, the earth began to shake and a round cage is appeared and block the exit. Rather than that, It trapped two of us inside.

"Hahahahhaha!... You not letting me away and now I doing the same to you. If you think to cut it, it's useless. This was made from thick iron that can not be cut down easily. Now stay in there while I cook you alive!"

While hearing his explanation, Ray once again thrusts his hand and make a touch with the wall. Seems like he understimating Ray's ability.

"Well then, maybe I must give my thanks to give me this much material for me. <Transform Art> [Shapeshift]!" (Ray)

The wall began to make a hole and opened. No, it shape is changing. The iron it self not reduced it's number but just simply shift into a tunnel.

We get out of the iron ball and I hurriedly go to town chasing the chimera. The demon is trying to trap me once again but the spell is just vanished like before.

"Enough of your play, the opponent you must face is me!" (Ray)

That was the last word I can hear since I have far enough from them. No time to waste! I use [Airdash] and enchance it with [Wind Boost] so I can reach the town quickly.

The chimera it self easy to track because he just charging forward and destroyng everything in front of it. Knowing what kind monster will I face. This time, I must use 'Ryuufujin' and try to control it power.

Not long after that, I get out from forest and can see the main gate. However, the situation right now is surely bad. There is still two minotaurs left and they got reinforcement from chimera. Many adventurer is wounded and some of them got killed.

I observe the situation and ensure the princess safety. The main gate is almost breach, if that happen then many citizen will be dead. The protector squad itself was exhausted. They can't survive last longer.

I rush them and take out Ryuufujin from it sheath. I try to control my power when swing it knowing that this thing too dangerous to wield.

The monster stopped their attack. Even surpressing my power until 50% of it, it still too powerful because it still killed the mino in instant.

"What was that?"

"What is happening?"

"Is this real?"

All of their comment I can hear it clearly. I attracted their attention. Even I promise to not stand out too much. I killed one of the mino and see the princess in front of it.

I sigh in relieve knowing they misunderstanding the situation. At the moment I swung my sword, she casted her magic. They thought that the princess killed it with her magic since I also heard sound of "as expected from princess" stuff.

The princess it self is sitting and dumbfounded with what she saw. She still not knowing what actually happen. In her face is clearly written "it's not me who do that" expression. I approached the princess and give her a hand.

She look at my hand then turn his face to me. Her hair is blonde with purple eyes saw me as she look at an angel. Her expressions right now is expression of someone who just saved by a hero. I know it my self because I have made that face before. She took my hand and stood up with my help.

"Y-you are the one who killed it, right?" (Princess)

She said it with a low voice. No one can hear it beside us. I nodded my head and told her

"Just promise me not telling this to anyone." (Lily)

He slowly nod her head.

"Where is the white hair boy?" (Princess)

The one he mean must be Ray. Is she have an affection to him. I point my finger to the forest.

"He is fighting someone there. Just ensure you not too close to him when you meet him." (Lily)

I can't let any girl get closer to my Ray. After all, we have a promise to be together not care whatever the situation it is.

"Please, tell them to evacuate the citizen. Tell them that maybe the town will be hard damage because you will fight them." (Lily)

I order her to make it like she is the one who will become the savior of this town. I just can't stand out too much now. It will be bad for the future.

"Just promise me that I can meet him later." (Princess)

How persistent she is, even I have give my warn to not get close with him she still want to get in. But now is not the time to mind it.

"Yeah, I promise." (Lily)

Her face showing an expression of a dog who got a reward for she do. She hurriedly turn his face and shout to them.

"Everyone, I will stay here to fight both of them. So evacuate the citizen now, I worry that the town will be hardly damage." (Princess)

"That's too dangerous, princess."

"I am not alone since I will fight with Lily." (Princess)

Since when she got my name? Ray already told the guild to not our information leaked even to the royal family.

"Then, I will here with you Violet-sama" (Red haired guy)

So her name is Violet, huh.

"Got it, the others please do what I say." (Violet)

"Is it okay, I told you to not letting anyone knows, right? If you do that then our deal is canceled" (Lily)

"Don't worry, Franz already knows about you too since he is my guard captain." (Violet)

Well, it can't be helped then. I checked if there is still someone who remain here except three of us. After that, I swing my sword and the other minotaur is killed. Now only chimera left to face on.
